I’m outside, getting threatened by the bouncer for having a open container. My bad had no idea. Literally, only trying to say what’s up to my friend outside the club and the bouncer was being a dick. It’s okay fuck this place.

Don’t bother texting for reserving a table because they will yell you once you get there they don’t have a table for you and its first come first serve after 11pm. What’s the point?

Go anywhere but this club! Absolutely awful! I Personally have had the worst experiences with this club starting immediately with the uneducated, power hungry bouncers! Last night the bouncer refused to let my roommate into the club because he was wearing red tennis shoes. The bouncer went on to tell my roommate that if he wanted to give him $ 20 he could enter the club with his shoes. After thinking about his offer my roommate and friends declined and left the club. This isn’t the first issue we have had with LIVE, bouncers seem to be a continuous problem. I think it’s ridiculous that bouncers think they can change the rules if you throw a little money on top! Obviously Live ultra Lounge doesn’t pay the staff enough so they feel they must get paid wherever and however they can. We will never go back after last night and previous times, save yourself the hard time and choose a different club!

Rude staff. Good music. This club is OVERRATED. $ 10 cover. Pricey drinks. They’ve lost my friend’s credit cards before cos they give them away to other people with their ids. If using a credit card I’d close out every time cos they may lose your shit.

I’ve gone to LIVE several times without problem. We went for the Halloween party last night. My boyfriend is only 20 and I’m 21 so I got through the line faster than he did. I was literally just standing there, waiting for him before I paid to go in, and this guy from VIP came up to me trying to get me to go inside with him. I told him no thanks, I’m just waiting for my boyfriend. I turn back around and the bouncer tells me to leave. I was like«What do you mean? Is this a joke?» He just said no and told me to leave again. So, I walked over to my boyfriend to see what I should do and we just went to the back of the line to wait to get in again. Next thing I know, this cop is in my face saying he’s going to arrest me if I don’t get out of line. I was in disbelief. What had I even done wrong? I hadn’t hassled anyone, what was I being punished for? Because I wasn’t single. That’s why. This club is 50 shades of fucked up. I’ll never go back after being treated like that. Beware ladies, if you aren’t single you’ll be treated like shit.

I went here last night(Saturday) to celebrate two friend’s birthdays and it wasn’t as bad as I thought(especially after reading the reviews on here). My boyfriend and I arrived shortly before 11 and were able to walk right in after having our IDs checked by the guy outside. We had been to this club a couple of years ago when it was Klusoz so it was kind of cool to see how they revamped it. One of our friends purchased bottle service and the staff said that it was a 2 or 3 bottle minimum depending on whether or not we wanted to be upstairs or downstairs. We ended up going upstairs where it was a 2 bottle minimum. We got the table on the corner closest to the stairs, which kind of ended up being kind of squished because people didn’t know they were supposed to go around and not through our section, but I think everyone had a good time regardless. Our bottle service girl was friendly and mixed our drinks for us(most of the time they just place everything out and let you mix it yourself so I thought that was a nice touch). I noticed that throughout the night the same girl came by asking if we needed anything. By midnight the dance floor was pretty crowded and all of the VIP sections upstairs seemed full. The DJ played a mix of 90’s hip hop, current music and techno and I thought the light show was good. I appreciate that this place has a super clean restroom, however, they definitely need more than one sink(they technically have two but the restroom attendant uses it for her supplies). I’m not a big club/lounge person but I wouldn’t mind coming again if it was for a special occasion.

This place isn’t AS bad as people are saying but it does have its faults. Getting inside is probably the biggest hill of the night when approaching this place due to its uneducated bouncers who can’t confidently look you in the eye when speaking to you and fail to explain their dress code to you, which is consistently inconsistent, and explained nowhere(literally, no where). One night it’s casual, the next it wants to be upscale and it struggles to find an identity and a real crowd. IF you get it in then it all comes down to what night you go. It went like this for me: Thursday was a good time, Friday was alright, and Saturday we couldn’t even get in but there was a lack of a crowd(probably from the bouncers turning away everyone, male and female, for trivial things). Better places out there that aren’t in the middle of nowhere.

I completely disagree with One & half star rating to this club I ended here by mistake on Thursday night & I was shocked with the music quality, the dance floor, crowd & lights! Everything was awesome! I know people had bad experience because of some people working there but if you see the Club it is the best club with music quality in San Antonio. Cover — $ 10, beers($ 4 budlight $ 5 dos), music — Hip Hop/Rap/Techno on thrusday, enough parking space.

If you’re looking for a «club» that caters to 30K millionaires and serves more well drinks than top shelf… you’ve found your place. The owner of this establishment brings in D-List personnel, such as Lindsey Pelas, to promote a ‘sexy’ & ‘high-end’ club. This place is 30 minutes from downtown off of HWY281! LMAO. Apparently these guys didn’t learn from the mistake made by a current Spurs starting player… ‘clubs’ don’t belong in the hill country. Plus, it’s full of Mexicans.

The guy checking IDs out front was a complete moron, asking me to button my collared shirt all the way up and freely making some type of comment about not meeting their dress code. However, as more people entered the club, it wasn’t your cream of the crop high-end fashion show. The guy was obviously abusing his lowly position to give people who enter the club a bad experience in a club I’ll never visit again. San Antonio deserves better and it does not need to be placed in the hands of an inexperienced jerk who thinks he has an important role in society, when the fact of the matter is he’s a loser working the night scene for a club that overprices just about anything you order. The DJ played decent music early on, but pretty much butchered every song with some sort of customized mix that you would have to be a schizophrenic to somehow vibe to during the most important hours: 11pm-2AM. This venue will insult your intelligence if you’re merely trying to have a good time. If you don’t believe me, go see for yourself. One star.

When i come here, i always see a ton of kids. I also see a lot of minors drinking, its more of a teen club/high school club. I saw a bouncer calling a group of girls dumb c**ts*

I usually never write reviews, but last night was rather awful. My friend left his hat inside and needed to go back in and grab it. Simple. He wasn’t back talking the bouncer or anything and the bouncer would not let him back in. Fast forward and now he’s in handcuffs and the bouncer is outright punching him in the face while he’s absolutely defenseless. Brought him to the ground, knees bleeding, black eye, and sustained a full on concussion. Meanwhile, my other friend got his credit card stolen from him at the bar. Won’t be returning.

This place is really a mixed bag. On one hand, they played pretty good music and they are literally the ONLY nightclub in this area of town. Drinks were not too bad, both in price and how they were made. Not the best, or the worst. Cover was free for ladies on a Saturday night($ 10 for guys) and the set up inside is really nice. On the other hand… well… it’s terrible. First off, I was trying to plan a night out for my birthday and wanted to book bottle service. A week before the event, I sent two requests via their website(you can actually put in all the details of your event and then a host/hostess is supposed to call you to finalize the arrangements). When I didn’t hear back, my husband called the number listed with no answer or callback(he called twice, but only left one voicemail). When we arrived that night, we asked if it was still possible to book a table since there were several on the first floor that looked open. The host came over, and we explained what had happened about no one calling us back… turns out they actually HAD A RESERVATION for me!!! Thanks for letting me know! We told them that yes, we still wanted it, but we wanted a table downstairs. They said because it was not paid in advance, they could only accommodate us upstairs. Well, guess what, if your people had done their job, it WOULDHAVE been pre-paid, so whose fault is that? Second, the DJ was(to put it nicely) not a nice person. We were literally there for 30 minutes when a young woman started having a seizure. Literally, on the floor, seizing for nearly 4 minutes. Lucky for her, we had 4 nurses in our party and they were able to tend to her and basically save her life. My husband asked the DJ if he would notify the girl’s friends/call them up to the front because obv they were oblivious as to what was happening. The DJ was super rude and told him he couldn’t do that. Give me a break. Also, the staff was not helpful at all, except for ONE bartender who came out and brought a bunch of towels, and water. No one else even offered to help or checked on her. LIVE Ultra Lounge… where you *literally* might not live through the night. :/ Otherwise, it wasn’t a bad night. But it’s hard to look over the whole getting-screwed-out-of-a-table thing, and oh yeah, the whole someone-almost-died thing. UPDATE: We tried to go back a few weeks later. It was myself and my husband along with 2 other couples. When we approached the doorman, we were told that we couldn’t come in because of our tattoos. My husband offered to roll down the sleeves on his long-sleeved shirt(answer: no, because you’ll just roll them up when you get inside) and I offered to put on a sweater I had in the car(again, the answer was… you guessed it! no, because you’ll just take it off when you get inside. I understand not every place wants exposed tattoos in their bar. I get that, I really do. But there is ZERO mention of a dress code at all on their website, or at the door, and Facebook page is full of tattooed people. Additionally, I would like to make it clear that we have the«typical» tattoos… exposed that night: my husband’s black and grey sleeve, my heart-shaped poem on my elbow, and my geisha half sleeve. It’s not like we showed up with ink all over our faces, hands, etc(not that there’s anything wrong with that, but those kind of tattoos have not become quite as accepted as sleeves are now: p). Anyway, I can’t stand places that have rules that either no one knows, or they change from day to day, or person to person. I’m fairly certain if I’d walked up to the doorman with the other two girls in our group, instead of next to my husband, they probably would’ve let us in. Because, you know… boobs trump rules any day! UPDATE #2: Gluttons for punishment, we are. We went back again. I wore a sweater to cover my tattoos; my husband wore long sleeves. We’re stopped at the door AGAIN because I have open toe flat sandals on(not flip flops). I barely cleared whatever dress code they were making up that week and we were allowed in. And surprise, surprise: everyone in the place, including all the bar staff, is literally covered in tattooos. Make up your mind, seriously.

The other girl is right they definitely let in some young lookin kids in their and the guy that owns that place is an idiot he was wasted when I met him there and he was talking trash to people for no reason. This place is cool aesthetically but when one night you got like 500 people and the next week you have like 8 theres something up…

Seriously screw this place. They called me derogatory names, flipped me off and refused to show me any type of policy. They take your ID at the door and threaten you when you want it back. Robert Cruzzi is the owner and doesn’t bother with any customer service. James the bouncer is an a-hole and calls the customers names and thinks he is on top of the world. He called me the B word and a fat a** the promoters for the place lie. They let underage people in as over 21. TABC was called.
