Best ice cream spot in Alamo Heights. Fantastic ice cream and toppings selection, consistently great service, convenient location in AH.

Came on 24 Oct. at 2200. Dude working alone, was very courteous. A-​1 service. Not from San Antonio but would come back to this location if I’m back and in the mood for ice cream.

I’m mean come on its Marble! Freakin Slab. There sweet cream is the best sorry I’m pretty sure when you walk into heaven it smells just like Marble Slab :-) even though I am a Marble Slaber for life I am a little ticked off that the so called «unlimited» mix ins are not well… really unlimited. you gotta pay for those (Reese’s buttercups) like .25 or .50 cents for a ½ really?!? That’s not cool. but of course being the addict I am… one cannot deny sweet cream with little baby chunks of Reese’s butter cups… so oh well :-D one perk they give you a stamp card at this location buy 9 get 10^th ice cream free something like that… Not to shabby.

Michael is super helpful and friendly! He helped me out with a birthday cake order of the mint chocolate chip cake, and it was a hit at our party. I liked how the cake is mostly ice cream with a little layer of chocolate cake on the bottom. I also ordered a small white chocolate mixed with raspberry cup mixed with coconut and pecans… it was super tasty! All their flavors look good. Overall, this is a nice quiet store with wonderful customer service. Thank you Michael!!!

I live almost 30 mins away, but go here for icecream… it’s that great. Customer service is a huge deal to my family & me. That’s why we make the trip!
Icecream is the best out there. They keep it simple with unlimited mix ins so if you can’t make up your mind, just get them all! Staff is friendly & fun. Whenever we have friends or family from out of town, we bring them here. Servings are very generous!

This is probably the nicest Marble Slab Creamery location in Texas. I’ve been to several other locations, but this location has a unique ambience that cannot be imitated! The genuine friendly service level is attentive & efficient.

This place is awesome!!! The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable! I let him pick the flavors and mix-​ins based on my flavor preferences… it was perfect! Easy parking and lots of seating. I was only in San Antonio for the weekend and I’m glad I got some great ice cream!

Could not recommend this place more. Outstanding customer service. We arrived 5 mins after they closed (yeah I know we suck) and the owner not only let us in but he was very friendly and still gave out samples and made suggestion for delicious combinations. The ice cream is as usual fantastic. I’m in the culinary industry so I know how rare service like this is.

What can I say about this place? It’s perfect! I don’t know his name, but the manager here is AMAZING! We were on vacation in SA, and I think we took the kids here every night for ice cream. They loved it that much! And the manager gave us a little show, which the kids got a huge kick out of. I don’t mind dropping $ 20 for ice cream when he throws it up in the air and catches it in the cup. My kids were happy, so I was happy! :)

Amazing customer service! Michael was engaging, funny, helpful with my indecisiveness and there were unlimited mix ins to boot! We made the most unconventional but delicious personalized ice cream. Will happily go back :)

MSC may be a chain ice cream parlor like Baskin Robbins but doesn’t have 31 flavors. But that’s okay.
Even though vanilla is my favorite flavor, it’s not the best here. It’s kinda bland. They have two types of chocolate, Chocolate Swiss and Double Dark Chocolate. I don’t care much for either so I skip those in favor of a particular flavor, rum. Two of the best things in life, ice cream and alcohol, put together. You gotta love it! Now all they need are tequila, rum, whiskey and beer flavors and I’ll skip BR and Amy’s and come to Marble Slab to fulfill my ice cream fix.

As an ice cream lover I was elated to stop by here. I know it’s a chain shop, but ice cream is ice cream. The difference for me is all in the variety and service. I must say I was very pleased here. I came in with a group of five, with only two employees present, and received customized service. One of the guys was busy with another group, so it took almost 10 minutes before the last person in my group received their ice cream. I admit it was a little longer of a wait than I would’ve liked, but they do take time to make your order to your request. I ordered a large cookies n kung fu which consisted of vanilla ice cream, cookie dough, chocolate sprinkles and some fudge. I was able to substitute to cheese cake ice cream and add a peanut butter cup with no problem. I was happy with my own little creation, however I’ll probably stick to a small next time because it is very filling. My only complaints are that the frozen yogurt machine wasn’t working when we came in, I heard them say they were out of shortcake for another persons request, and there are no tables outside.
