Breakfast 5 stars. Great plates and tacos. Pick anything – it’ll be good. Really. VERY fresh tortillas – both corn and flour. Dinner, however, is like 2 stars. Mojarra on the menu, but no tilapia, and the waitress didn’t even stutter. She said this was a regular thing. Family of kids was gathered around a TV up front(pretty much had to be the waitress’s or the cook’s) and were getting up and down running behind the counter and such. I’m actually okay with that kind of thing because I know that families keep businesses running and not everyone can afford nightly childcare, except that my food hadn’t come out yet, so… yeah. Wash up. My food is coming out on those very counters! Bean and cheese nachos were meh. Puffy taco – whatevs – not bad, but would still leave me jonesing if I had a craving. That’s saying a lot because they are less than a half mile from my casita. Enchiladas totally forgettable in a city filled with options. So yeah – breakfast. Stick with it. It’s mega-cheap and ridca-good.
