I never expected to have so much fun at a doll house store. After having bought an unfinished doll house at a charity auction, I quickly became overwhelmed with the chore of finishing it. While on vacation in San Antonio I decided to check out the doll house store. The two women were more than amply welcoming and helpful. I feel much more comfortable with this project but sad that I don’t live anywhere nearby.

When in SA I MUST make a special trip to the store. They have wonderful collection of items in all price ranges. Staff is helpful and friendly. They even offered to display and sell my granddaughter’s paintings when she decides to sell them. My only regret is it is a 13 hour drive to visit this «candy» store. LOVE IT

I love this store. I have not been able to afford to buy a doll house here YET, but this year I am definitely making a purchase a priority. The houses are beautiful and well made, tons of accessories to buy and even though I have not been able to purchase a house yet, the employees/​owners? always spend time with me and my granddaughter and make us feel so welcome. This place is fantastic!

I take issue with Peter O’s review! His «notes» included taking photos which is posted as being not allowed by the management for obvious reasons. Miniature artist work very hard and for very little profit to create their works and it is only right for the retailers of their works to protect them from being copied from photos. I have been a customer of this store for for over 15 years, on and off and I can tell you that tho I have certainly never spent large amounts of money with them, when I developed some medical problems that interfered with my being able to work on my doll house, the owner came to my home, picked it up, took it to the store completed what needed to be done and brought it back to me! These folks are truly friends. They will always help you find a way to meet your needs and your budget. Just try to find a doll house store anywhere like it! I know, I have lived all over the US. and been in the miniature hobby for over 30 years.

Every time I am in San Antonio, I visit My Doll House, sometimes on my way in from the airport. It is a wonderful, fantastic place & all staff are friendly & helpful.
My three-​year old grandson had his first visit there & loved it. And he apparently behaved much better than some complaining customer, i e he did what he was asked to do. What a concept.

I was in there to get some inspiration. I’m remodeling a dollhouse for a friend. At first the lady was helping was nice. Then when I started making a list on my phone of things I needed. When she saw me doing it. Oh shit! It was like Jekyll n Hyde. She snapped at me. Telling me that I need to stop comparing prices online. I told her I was only making a shopping list and I was writing down what the items were. Because I have a really bad memory. She said «it’s a window, can’t you remember a window?» She kept telling that they aren’t an internet affiliated store, and I need to stop comparing prices. So I left. Then I came back in to briefly to tell her if she doesn’t want my business, I’ll go somewhere else.

When my cousin mentioned that her daughter has built a dollhouse, it became the perfect opportunity to find a place for dollhouse accessories… I hadn’t seen many places around town advertising hobbies/​crafting other than the major crafting conglomerates like Hobby Lobby, etc. I am so glad I jumped online and looked up My Doll House.
For the past two years, I have been trying to concentrate my gifting to be as «local» or «handmade» as possible… I especially try to find the «made in texas» items for out-​of-​town visitors. My Doll House fulfills all of these requirements with many of the items handmade here in Texas! I was so thrilled!
And how can you not be thrilled by entering a full-​service doll house shop!!! The management here is friendly and helpful. They have the classics and the more modern accessories like laptops and iphones for 1:12 scale houses… mahogany wood to pine handmade furniture… and nearly all of their items come with a story.
Come here and dedicate some time to learn the history… I could have been here for hours, and would probably call my parents to dust off my old dollhouse and bring it to Texas! Highly recommend for any age dollhouse enthusiast!
