I’ve been seeing Dr. Nguyen since 2009… I have always had a great experiences at his office! My husband, children, and 91 year old mother are patients of his. He’s very thorough, personable, and explains everything to you. I have never had problems with my prescriptions and have never had a good multifocal contact lens prior to seeing him! I’ve been to other doctors previously that get you in & out as fast as they can and do a shoddy job… not the case here. I highly recommend this practice for your eye care needs!!!

I wasn’t looking forward to writing this review because I really don’t want to give Dr. Nguyen’s office a bad rep! He is a knowledgable and helpful optometrist with a great method of breaking down the way the eye works for the rest of us to understand! He fitted me perfectly for new contacts and glasses that work great for me. Any negativity is in no way a reflection of the doctor or his services.
However, I feel that I must mention the front desk and technicians in my review, since they are part of the office as well, though I do not know if he is hires personnel for these positions. I have gone three times so far, the first time for glasses and contacts prescription appointment, second just to pick up a copy of my prescription, and third for a laceration on my eye that was bothering me as it healed. At first I tried to give the front staff a little relief since they always seemed busy or to be in a bad mood, but all three times? Representing the doctor in an unprofessional manner at the front desk is just unacceptable, and if I were him I would select those positions carefully. Last time I was there the girls were complaining loudly about a customer phone call, sighing every time the phone rang, whispering behind the desk, and unhappy about the busy schedule because it interfered with their ability to get a Starbucks.
I’m glad my insurance pays instead of it coming out of pocket, because then I don’t mind as much. Since I like the doctor, I’ll continue going here for glasses and eye issues, but mostly because it’s convenient and definitely not because of the customer service.

5 stars = I’ll drive across town specifically for this, and rave to all my friends about it!
4 stars = Would return and recommend.
3 stars = Indifferent, average, acceptable.
2 stars = You could drag me here unwilling.
1 star = I will not be returning.

We had to go back because my daughter said her contacts didn’t feel right. Turns out that it was user error but Dr. Nguyen was soooo very nice to her and helped us get into daily lenses which will work best since she struggles so much with keeping the lenses clean.
Again. 5 stars. Great office.
