We noticed mold coming from a few our ceiling vents. Servpro of Alamo Ranch was quick and responsive to come out and provide free estimate. After estimate it was relayed that we should have HVAC service before work as they believed root issue of mold was from a leak. Servpro quoted a fee 221.98 to clean the 4 vents, ducts, register boxes of vents and apply a solution to our ducts and ceilings in order for mold not to grow back. They indicated that the solution they apply would not match the ceiling color and that it would be an extra fee should we have them repaint ceiling after solution was applied. My 5 yr old and I are extremely allergic of mold and the mold caused my son to use inhaler. I had HVAC repair man out within 12 hours and he confirmed no leaks. Condensation caused mold and after lowering the speed of the HVAC, it would solve the condensation problem. Servpro was back out later that day to conduct work mentioned in estimate minus painting the ceiling. At end of service, I asked Technician Mackenzie Jordan if he applied solution to ducts and ceiling and he informed me he didn’t bring the solution Since we were not repainting the ceilings. I informed him I was not concerned with the cosmetics, just want to ensure mold is gone and would not return. He said he would be back out Friday(two days later) to complete the work and apply the solution. When I signed the work order, i even hand written that he would be back out to complete the solution. Friday came and went with no technician. I left voicemails no response. Left three voicemails with main office and no response. Today(Monday), after leaving my 3rd voicemail with the office, the technician returns my call apologizing for not getting back to me and indicated it would be another charge to apply solution. Waiting to hear from manager bow hoping they will resolve this properly. At this moment, not impressed with the work/service as it started off with when they came out to provide estimate. Should Store Manager rectify this situation I will update my rating.
