Dr. Delgado is fantastic!
I’ve been going to him for years now, and even though I moved to the other side of town, I wouldn’t see anyone else.
He’s always super friendly, very knowledgeable, quite funny, and is straight up with you about everything. When I’d been wearing my contacts a little too long, he refused to fill my order for new ones for two weeks, because he insisted that I give my eyes a break. While some people may find that frustrating, I found it refreshing that a doctor cares so much about the health of my eyes that he wasn’t going to compromise his integrity just to satisfy my vanity.
That’s a good doctor.
The rest of the staff is also friendly, and their prices are better than most — including the price of contacts (usually right on par with 1−800-CONTACTS).
I sent a friend to him a while back, and she loves him too. Calls him her eye boyfriend.

I have been a customer of Dr. Delgado’s for almost 15 years and I have been treated so well that I have never considered seeing another optometrist. I live in the Medical Center and I don’t mind driving all the way to the Northeast side for an appointment every several months.
Though the building is a little old and could use a facelift, the people inside are what make this place special. Dr. Delgado has a great, friendly personality and I have always felt comfortable with him and trusted his advice. The staff is friendly and I have never had any problems with getting replacement contact lens when I do tear or lose any. Marcus is the glasses specialist and he is a great guy once you talk with him. The selection, though a bit small, is good. They have affordable, budget-​minded eyewear all the way to designer frames by the big names. Transitions Lens are available, as well as all the usual scratch and glare-​resistant lenses. Marcus also has prescription sunglasses available from several manufacturers.
Northeast Vision Source takes almost all major insurances, but call to double check if they do indeed take yours.
