We found this place by accident on a busy Saturday night on the Riverwalk. We were searching for a place to get a beer and watch the Packers vs Cardinals game. We ordered an XL meat lovers pizza, a Sam Adams draft, and 4 frozen margaritas. The staff seemed overworked and really frustrated by the never ending, huge line of people wanting to order food and drinks. They did not look like they were loving their jobs. From our table, the game was very hard to watch because you had to watch through the huge line of customers waiting to place their orders. Maybe time to invest in a few more strategically place big screens? The pizza was decent. Drinks were cold.

Place was practically empty which should of been our first sign. Menu said pizza by the slice but you can only get pepperoni or cheese unless you pay another $ 2 for another flavor. We came in at 1pm, beer was hot not even iced down. They didn’t ice the beer until after we ordered a draft beer. Even that was not cold. Just wanted something quick, well that’s about all it was. Won’t be back and don’t recommend. I’d rather eat fast food than at this place agin. About all this place is good for is to make a turd!

Recently, ate at this establishment while in town for the San Antonio Half Marathon. The staff were nice with personality which I liked. My pizza was okay, but definitely not anything amazing, still I enjoyed it. My 3 star review comes from my breadsticks. I ordered cheese sticks and received my pizza before the cheese sticks… strike 1; when actually getting the cheese sticks I noticed they were cold… strike 2; and finally there was aluminum foil attached to the bottom of the cheese sticks… strike 3. Save your self some time and money and eat somewhere were they know how to at least keep things warm.

Terrible service! Was there in line for about 20 minutes and another 40 for us to get the food!!! Pizza was ok but not enough to wait so damn long!!! they didn’t even clean our table for us! We had to set aside the previous customers’ food!!! Awful and never ever coming back again. Do not recommend it to anyone! Even Little Caesars has better service than this place!

Walked into the restaurant and no other customers. Should have turned around! 45 minute wait for mediocre pizza, soggy crust and room temperature wings. When we asked about the status of the order, was told to sit down and wait. Great location, shame this place operates out of it.

We walked through inside and outside seating and only found 1 of the 25 tables to be clean. We ended up waiting 15 – 20 minutes for two slices of pizza that were cold.

I LOVED this pizza. We ducked in to use the restroom and get out of a rain storm and decided to stay for a meal and I am certainly glad we did. The pizza was soft and pillowy. The cheese was there and thick. The pepperonis were large and crisp, just the way I like them. I will dream of this pizza and I will order more every time I am back in San Antonio. I really cant say enough good things about this pizza. Also, they serve alcohol and the staff are friendly and patient. You go, girls!

Soooo I stumbled on this place by mistake. Nice clean environment. Pizza was okay… plenty of toppings, crust wasn’t too crunchy. But the star was the Sweet & Spicy Thai flavored wings… they were awesome, add a bit more red pepper flakes for more spice if needed.

Fast service, tasty pizza, and walking distance from our hotel, WINNERWINNER! We had the large Meat Lovers pizza and a dinner salad. This was more than enough food for our family of 3 and a toddler.

Good pizza and relatively cheap being located right off the River Walk. The staff was friendly and helpful even though we arrived right at quitting time.

We, a group of 4, were walking the walk — River Walk that is. The youngest with us wanted pizza. Rain was coming. We also had to find a spot where 3 more adults, and 2 more children, could meet us. They also needed to park, so an exact meet time was hard to do. While reviews for Pizzarita’s are not all great, we decided to give it try for shear convenience. It worked out great. Now keep in mind I’m a thin crust kind of guy, as in the thinner the better. In this regard, I did not like the pizza. However, as far as thicker pizza goes it was OK. We also had some wings, which were good. Draft beer was a bit expensive at $ 5(for a 14, maybe 16, oz plastic cup). We managed to snag the large table, so we were all seated as the deluge of rain started. Not a bad place to wait out the storm. As a quick, relatively inexpensive, family friendly, place to grab a bite on the walk, I am a fan. I’d consider it a good option when dealing with a group, especially if pizza craving kids are in the mix.

They only had pepperoni or cheese as individual slice pizza and so we ordered two pepperoni slices and ½ of their hot wings. It was worse than frozen pizza and wings. The slices were very chewy and tasted old. It was also quick to come out so they obviously had them for a while. The wings were soggy as though they came from a frozen wings meal and quickly microwaved. It was disgusting. The interior was messy and some tables were left uncleaned even though most workers were not working. It was pretty empty and I should have known that that was a sign of how bad the business was. Would not recommend. Would not come again.

It’s you average pizza joint. I’ve had a single slice of pepperoni before and ordered a meat lovers this time. both nothing special. I had to go up to the counter this time to ask how my order was going because it had been 10 minutes to get me a slice, but the guy at the counter seemed helpful enough. Overall, it’s a place to go if you’re just plain hungry and not looking for a mouthwatering experience.

Most of the bad reviews are spot on. Pizza has great dough but it lacks taste and salt. The cheese not bad but not flavorful. Toppings were scarce. Also had cold mozzarella sticks. I went back again today for the chicken parm sandwich which they couldn’t sell me yesterday since they didn’t have bread. LOL Well the sandwich on one side was toasty and crispy and the chicken was great. On the other side it was soggy and nasty Two thumbs down for this place. The young staff is nice at least and it’s pretty cheap.

Just had one of the most bizarre and terrible experiences at a restaurant ever. I was looking for a slice of pizza so decided to come here, thinking I could quickly get a couple slices to go and be on my way in 5 minutes. Not so fast… I walked in to a line of about 5 people in front of me. Okay, no big deal, except the line is moving incredibly slow. After 25 minutes I get to second in line. The employee at the register then leaves to go bus tables for about 10 minutes, leaving no one to take orders. Another employee comes to the register and says he can’t take orders, it will be 40 minutes to get any food. Meanwhile, there are pizza slices spinning in a display case literally 3 feet away. I tell him I just want slices that are already ready right there and he says he can’t help. After another 5 minutes they start taking orders again at the register and I order my slices. Ok, I’ve been waiting so long, just for slices that have been there in front of me the whole time, I feel like the wait has ended. Nope. After I order, I have to wait another 10 minutes for the employee to go to the pizza display case and take out my slices and put them in a box. I have never seen worse service in my entire life. The whole experience was just absurd, it was almost like customers were being pranked, except I didn’t see any hidden cameras. By the time I got home with my pizza, it was obviously terrible, slimy, greasy, and had likely been sitting in the pizza display case for a few hours.

Pepperoni pizza is delicious! I’ve never had anything else. It’s not a fancy place but the pizza is yummy. Will definitely eat here again

I have a three because the lunch atmosphere was adaptable to multiple customers. Music was playing for those who just want to eat and check emails. The volume was at the point where people could talk at a normal tone without shouting. And for those sports or news enthusiast the TVs show games and news. The pizza was good for the price you pay and the salad was described well by Steve P. In his rating. Packaged lettuce with processed cheese and bottles vinaigrette dressing. Don’t set standards high for the food quality but atmosphere and service is better than expected.

Ok, we’ve been craving Pizza for a while. While enjoying a stroll on the Riverwalk we saw the sign and headed street side. Good choice. Quick, friendly service. Good pizza, great cheese sticks. Spicy Marinara. Tables could have been wiped down but, hey, the kid there was working alone. Not over the top amazing but good pizza.

A pizza place that won’t sell you a slice? That’s this place. What they will sell you at 10pm is sone sub-par chicken wings and terrible salad(processed pre-grated cheese sprinkled on top of iceberg!?). It’s really bad. Words cannot explain, but let me try: airline food is better! For some reason I took what we couldn’t eat with us. As I walked back to the hotel a homeless man asked for the leftover food and I was embarassed to give him this food. It was that bad!
