This is the most unprofessional place of dishonest business I have ever had to deal with! My iPhone 6 Plus had a cracked screen, I had to save money for over 4 months to get it fix, with all my apps working correctly! I took my phone to this place to get the screen fix and was given my phone back with a fixed screen… But not even an hour after charging my phone I noticed the my flash light app and camera did not work at all! I called this place as soon as I noticed it and sent an email explaining that these apps were not working. I receive a call the next morning and was adviced that I could bring the phone back and they would take a look at it. In the process of my phone being checked their rep was trying to convince me that I was the one responsible for breaking my flash light and camera and wanted to charge me to fix their mistake! I know for sure it was their mistake because another rep explained that I was the 4th person to have this issue today! The situation was handled very poorly and I would never recommend anyone spend their hard earned money to have any device fixed in this dishonest establishment!!!

I’ve used their services twice now for my Samsung note 2 to replace the digital screen. I was tempted to look for another repair place, but was quoted a 4day wait minimum. Portabledevicefix had the part, my screen works without any issues and I dropped it off in the late afternoon picked it up next morning. The price is very comparable to other repair places and ultimately you get what you pay for.

After a terrifying entrance to the Apple Store and an unacceptable wait time to get a screen replaced I hi-tailed it out of there and went to handy dandy groupon. Groupon had nothing for replacing an iPhone 6 screen so I started looking through he groupon reviews and this place had a 95% and were open for another hour. I called at 3pm and the guy I spoke with said it would take 30−40minutes to replace the screen. Sweet! I made the 45 minute trip in a little under 30 minutes 00 I entered the store at 3:33. The guy«sold» me a fancy screen protector it was more like shut up and take my money because chances are i will drop my phone again. The screen protector is suppose to shatter itself and not the actual phone glass it also is smooth to the touch if it does shatter which was honestly what sold me because the whole scotch tape so I don’t cut the $hit out of my finger wasn’t working so well, for the past month. At 3:55 my phone was finished which was under the quoted amount of time. The guy doing the fixing was friendly. It was $ 99 for the screen and $ 20 for the screen protector. My phone works great(knock on wood after reading other Unilocal reviews). The protector though… I didn’t notice it, but my husband did after we had already left– the bottom left corner is peeling up there’s an air bubble in it. That’s annoying because it was professionally installed. This morning I noticed that in that same corner there are tiny scratches and I know the phone wasn’t dropped and it’s an area I barely touch so I believe it was from the installation. What irritates me the most is it was $ 20 and I can get the same thing for like $ 7 elsewhere. I justified it because I didn’t have to self install which I know would have gone horribly wrong but in this case I’m not satisfied with the end result. The store is tiny but clean. Only 3 chairs to sit in and walls stocked with knock off phone cases you can get off of eBay, from China, for 99¢, of course they are horrible overpriced. And I know they are knock off because they are the same cases I used way back in the day when I was using a iPhone 3G. If you’re old enough to remember that far back. Haha. I’m not super pissed but I’m not terribly impressed so I’ll meet in the middle with a rating of 3.

Maddening experience! I do not recommend. They took twice as long as they said it would(while I waited) and the fingerprint function on my iPhone no longer works after the screen repair. I can’t decide whether it’s worth it to go back since the experience was so frustrating the first time. Oh and the price on my iPad screen repair was $ 20 more than they quoted on the phone when I called. I would have rather gone to the place close to my house with great Unilocal reviews that was $ 10 more…

After filtering through 10 different repair centers in San Antonio, I came across this business. I’m glad I did. Same day service, friendly and knowledgable staff, and about $ 30 less than what others had quoted. My IPad lives again.

Some seriously shady business going on here, and although I won’t go into details I will say my experience with this place convinced me to go onto Unilocal and review for the first time to try to warn others. The entire time they had my phone I was worried about it, and my home button is not right now. I would not do business with them again, and although I had no confrontation with them or anything, during my conversation with them they made it clear that they we’re knowingly practicing unethically-with regards to their marketing, their pricing, and even their queue for walk-ins.
