I stayed at the Hyatt overnight last weekend and we needed some food and a nightcap. We always enjoy the Q Bar, so we went downstairs. We love the food and drinks, except there is no rhyme to the service. The professionals serving seem to be all over the place. When we were greeting by the manager, she placed a round disc on the table with 3 buttons labeled server, check, cancel. We got our drinks and food(beers, pretzel sticks, and brisket pizza) and were very happy. When we were ready to go, we pushed the«check» button and nobody appeared with the«check». About 10 minutes later the server appeared and asked if we wanted another round, we asked for the«check». It looks like the money they invested in the round disc is not working.

Great ambiance, best chocolate martinis with expresso. Clean and classy joint. Ask for Isaac!

Good service great food, convenient to the hotel where it falls short is speed and value. come here with friends, chill and have a conversation — the food is just to fill the time. I’ve had several items on the menu, everything is flavorful so don’t waste money on the big items. For example I had the brisket entrée and I think I like their sandwiches better. Several of the starters could be a meal for one and the pizzas are an excellent value but more importantly delicious. Drinks are pricey, stroll down the river walk, there are plenty of places with a happy hour…

Wandered in from a conference. I could not have been more surprised. Great ambience, great brisket and amazing service from Daniel, the manager. He really made it an extraordinary experience. The folks at the table next to me turned around and remarked on the«above and beyond» service. We all agreed that we’d love to hire him away. Better hang on tight Hyatt!

We came here for happy hour at the end of the second day of a conference at the Hyatt hotel. We were very pleased with the drink selection, unique appetizers, and awesome service from our waitress, Brandi. Brandi really made what could have been«just another happy hour» totally fun and enjoyable, and did her best to convince us to stay with the Q on the Riverwalk for dinner. Alas, we went to Biga on the Banks instead, and, while it was good, we probably would have done as well or better staying here.

A decent hotel bar with great food too? Where does that happen? Well you’ll find it at the bend in the Riverwalk where the Hyatt Regency sits, with their awesome Q Bar and Restaurant. I stopped in here twice during a recent visit to San Antonio, and was blown away the first night by one of the finest BBQ meals I’ve ever enjoyed, their dry rub ribs accompanied by a delicious carton of slaw and some awesome baked beans with chunks of meat. They are in the process of transitioning to a bourbon bar and had a barrel of something called 1792 from Buffalo Trace Distillery which was far better than the usual well bourbon. The only reason this did not earn that 5th star was the inconsistency of the service, not atypical in a hotel establishment, and the somewhat limited spirits selection. But much better than what you’ve come to expect in a hotel.

Such a great place to enjoy with family & friends. Food is great, drinks are fabulous! Location has everything one can desire, Staff is friendly and very accommodating. If you visit San Antonio stopping at Q is a must. Look for the Hyatt Regency on Losoya St. Couldn’t have said it better myself not sure why this review didn’t get recommended so decided to repost & add stars

Really enjoyed the drinks at this place. I did not eat any of the food, but that looked oto be pretty good as well. They had a lot of local texas brews on tap that I really enjoyed. Also, the majority of their wine is Texas wine located in the hill country. They also had some California wine. Like most places the wine was over priced, but nothing out of the ordinary there. THey also had a good selection of cocktails. I had the lemon raspberry martini which was really very good. Sugar rim made it a little too sweet for me, but you can get it without the sugar rim. They also had a watermelon margartia with a spicy salt rim, it was also tasty. Overall this place has good service and I would return to the bar.

Who would of thought that one of the best bars downtown would be in a hotel? Odd, but true. This place is awesome. Very classy with great staff. Bartenders are great company and make first class drinks. If you want a very low key, relaxed and comfortable evening. this is a place to try. If you don’t like it. I’ll give you $ 5. Okay I won’t but you’ll definitely like it. Lol.

Very classy bar with a great staff and a great view. At night its even better with the bar very decoratively light which sets the mood for a nice relaxing night cap. Great seats with comfortable couches and private televisions as well. I recommend this place for a quiet and affordable drink without the hassle of the noise outside.
