The margaritas are simply great! Many choices and all very unique. The food is amazing!!! The white queso appetizer is so good for sharing and the chicken diablos (appetizer) are the best — I usually get them as my meal. Every food item we’ve had here has been super. The service is usually excellent (once or twice had a crabby but not often). Oh, also, my daughter gets the kids Mac-​n-​Cheese and it is the absolute best ever… We all steal bites from her; it’s like gourmet homemade… also a very large portion.
Last weekend, upon being seated, the restaurant was unbelievably cold. Not just cold but uncomfortable, everyone in jackets/​sweaters and complaining. A manager immediately seated us outside (76 degrees out :)) and said he would put the heat on in the restaurant for the patrons who decided to stay in. Great service!

I didn’t bother to read all previous 165 reviews, so it may have been mentioned by now that Hofbrau plays on a German theme, but it’s not really an effort made in earnest. Hofbrau serves two German beers amongst the standard piss and a few craft beer options. Their strong points are their famed Dos-​a-​Rita, a fishbowl margarita with your choice of aforementioned piss in it, and their food, which actually does include at least two German dishes. I’ve had at least three of the dishes here, including the turkey club and the honey soy shrimp, and I’ve been pleased each time with both the quality and prices. The atmosphere is very nice and the grounds contain a massive backyard area where they occasionally stage local bands. It may be a matter of pure subjectivity, but the place doesn’t really strike me as exceptional, or somewhere I particularly look forward to visiting.

I really love Hofbrau. Besides serving wonderfully oversized beers, the food is great.
The schnitzel is the bomb. Thirty minutes later, your stomach knows it’s a bomb, but let me tell you it’s SO WORTH IT. Little bacon diablos (chicken wrapped in bacon) are delicious, and they have white queso for those who are so inclined. If I’m not feeling the schnitzel, I’ll go for a sandwich or a Cobb salad, both of which are really good. For a chain, Hofbrau does an excellent job delivering fresh, quality flavors.
Service is hit or miss, I feel like there is a lot of turnover which makes it hard to be consistent. Prices are pretty fair, so there’s not a ton of room to complain. I’m a fan.

Came here on a Sunday evening and there was actually quite a few people in here. The service and food was really good. I had the club sandwich with season fries.
There is also an outdoor sitting area. I’ll have to try outside next time I come back. The menu had a good selection to choose from as well. The meal for me and my buddy was about $ 30.
