Shipley Doughnuts

Amazing donuts! Much better than chain donut shops. I had a glazed jelly filled that was overflowing with strawberry jelly (and the jelly on its own was very tasty) and a glazed chocolate frosting filled donut. Very decadent and delicious. Maybe a once a month type treat!

Delicious. The donut holes are prefect for little kids and they are inexpensive. Great location, as it is convenient to stop by for a reward to the kids after making a pick-​up or drop-​off at airport.

Kolaches= delicious. Glazed= perfectly sweetened. Light & fluffy. Chocolate glazed= amazing. I love this little spot. Great little drive through with a good selection of donuts and yummy shipley coffee.

Lighter, fluffier, and less sickly-​sweet than their Krispy-​Kreme counterparts, Shipley’s Donuts are, in my humble opinion, the world’s greatest.
Having spent my life primarily on the East Coast, where Shipley has (sadly) not yet expanded, I’ve often craved Shipley hopelessly. Let me just point out, too, that I am not typically a donut fan. These things are just… heavenly. Needless to say, Shipley has historically always been my first stop when pulling into a state where they exist, and I’m ever-​so delighted to now live near one!
A particular bonus to this location is that it’s a drive-​thru, and I’ve rarely had to wait in a line longer than 2 or 3 cars. Service is always stellar, and the donuts… oh, the donuts…
