Went here for a donut and what do I get? No one at the counter, no one making donuts! Then after making random noise the girl finally comes out like we are bothering her! There was literally no donuts to choose from so I got a muffin. Took the muffin to my terminal and pulled it out.. swear I could have knocked someone out if I threw it! Made for funny jokes that day but I had to ride that flight starved. Never again! She knew that muffin was old when she grabbed it and still decided to let me pay for it and walk away!

Decent food, the folks preparing it seemed to be working hard. My issue is not being able to get my water filled. I spent ten dollars and can’t get some tap water? Starbucks will do it, even if I don’t buy anything. I was told by the cashier, «I’m not allowed to fill your water»

I suppose the idea of «Makin the Doughnuts» is hard to apply to an Airport location. My glazed and chocolate covered doughnuts just lacked freshness. Sure they were okay — and better than doughnuts from a grocery store, but not up to the DD standard I have come to expect. The man behind the counter made no bones about trying to up sell me. Good for him for trying. My medium iced coffee with cream and sugar was good and in line with expectations.

Whenever I’m in Texas, I treat myself to two very different but equally delicious culinary treats — BBQ and Kolaches. Wrapping up a recent trip to San Antonio(darn it — still couldn’t find the basement!) I found myself at the San Antonio Airport waiting for an early flight home. There are a number of breakfast options at the airport — none of them fantastic. But then I saw that Dunkin Donuts serves up sausage kolaches. Perfect! I thought. I could get one last kolache fix before returning home to the kolache-less landscape of Phoenix, Arizona. I lined up and ordered three kolaches with hash browns. I wish I hadn’t. I’m not sure how they prepare their kolaches at Dunkin Donuts, but if I had to guess, it involves taking frozen goods out of deep freeze and putting them in a dorm-sized toaster oven cranked to 10. These things came out more than just burnt. They were inedible. The hash browns were greasy. Overall a horrible experience. I understand that this may have been that one rare occasion where things went wrong, but the fact that the employee took them out of the oven, saw that they were destroyed, and still decided to serve them to me says a lot about the service and care that they take at Dunkin Donuts. If you’re at the airport looking for a good breakfast, steer clear of DD!

Inedible & undrinkable. My three kolaches were simply awful, one bite and all I could taste was rubbery plastic. I tossed the lot. As for the coffee, it was like dishwater. DD I expect more from you. This was like an $ 8 buck barf-bag…

I come here for coffee when the Starbucks line is too long, but I always wonder why don’t come more often. The coffee is good and they even have some healthier options on the menu now. Folks are friendly but the service is slightly slow because there is usually only one or two people working the counter here. A few times when I have come before, the one person working register needs to go to the back to make the food.

Terrible, terrible service. Not that they were rude, but that they completely ignored any and all customers, while they argued about who was going to do what. I had to call them over to give me my coffee. I seriously thought they were brewing a new pot, which is why I waited at all. He rang me up, and continued his conversation with another worker. I saw this happen over and over again. At least their coffee is delicious. Seriously addicting.

Should have gone to starbucks… Horrible service, no donuts, and I threw the drink away after two sips… Closing time is 8pm but employee said they are usually always closed by 6pm and its no lie I went at 5:45pm at the sliding gate was laready ½ way closed.

When I’m at the airport I always get my chocolate donut fix. There is always a line, but so worth it. Love their donuts.

Small size, but bigger than a kiosk. Not a huge collection of donuts, but they have all the other things that DD’s have — Collattas, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, even large reusable coffee mugs. It’s busy in the morning, but they seem to be a pretty«with it» crew so my egg white flatbread sandwich took 4 minutes. Good, because I know there’s nothing but pretzels on the plane!

There’s quite a few dining options in the San Antonio airport, with more to come with the renovations. DD was a healthier and better tasting option than McD’s. I got a ham, egg & cheese sandwich on a bagel, and my wife got a veggie omelette sandwich also on bagel. Price was fair(always glad to see that in airports) and our food came out quickly.

Snagged the last multigrain bagel and it wasn’t even noon. Relatively small selection so your best bet to get your favorite bakery items is to book an early flight!

This place is always busy but worth the wait. The peeps at work love the donuts so I get double the amount of donuts I should be getting. The coffee is delish too so I get a large when I shouldn’t. I called twice to see if I could pre order but no one picked up the phone. Will be back tho.

Location location location. That is key for this Dunkin Donuts. It is convenient to grab a coffee on your way in or out. This Dunkin is one of the reasons I like the SAT Airport so much.

You have to get past the security check point to get here.
