I live down the road and have given this location 3 chances. Each time I find myself waiting up to 30 minutes for a small basic order, food comes out cold and my order is missing something! I tried to call twice to get my order corrected but no answer. Sonic was the only fast food place I actually liked until this place.

Its the only fast food place around, but I love how happy everyone is. Prompt, accommodating, and nice!
Im sitting here, right now, and this is literally the best burger I ever had from them! The rest of the food is good, too. Try a cherry cranberry sweet tea. YUM…
I have been here maybe six times (all pretty late in the evening) and only once I had an issue. The salt on the fries was way overpowering. But the next time, they were so perfect! I did have to ask, but they did deliver so… I’m happy to give this place 5 stars.

I probably have visited nearly every Sonic in Comal, Bexar and surrounding counties during happy hour. This Sonic is right up the road from the medical center in San Antonio. it is smaller than most and doesn’t have a drive thru, but has very fast service. The new menu item is Cheesy Bread Dogs-​Garlic Parmesan or Ultimate bacon & cheese. Haven’t tried these or the Pretzel dog yet. Oh yeah, to accompany happy hour (2pm-​4pm) drinks, there are now happy hour 99 cents snacks-​2 mozzarella sticks or 4 onion rings or small tots (I’m not sure if you get 1 or 2 tots) or a corn dog. I was so sad with my lonely 2 mozzarella sticks I went to HEB and bought a box.

Service is poor. They always get orders wrong. And the night manager seems not to care and laugh about it to your face. Something is really wrong here. Don’t go, think twice about it.

Service is slow here, and usually bad. The credit card machines «work» and then the waitress usually makes you give her your card and wait for her to check you out again saying the machine «didn’t get your payment». Makes me suspicious but I’ve never been overcharged. It’s just annoying. I’ve been here twice when their registers were down and after serving us and taking our card, we had to wait almost 20 minutes to be checked out. On three occasions, they got our order completely wrong. Needless to say, we only come here for a typical cherry limeade– anything more difficult and we go elsewhere.

I’ve been to this Sonic location multiple times and have had no issues whatsoever. The staff is usually really nice and efficient. Like, yesterday I pulled up at 3:54PM and got two route 44 slushies (for happy hour). Literally like one minute after I put my order in, the lady was already delivering them to my car. I was really happy that they were so fast which I’m sure they have to be because it CAN get busy here over happy hour time. I’ve ordered food from here and it’s just like every other sonic, I can’t think of a time when they’ve screwed up my order.

I love Happy Hour, but their food sucks.

I really want to like this location since it’s so close to my house, but it’s not possible. They *always* get my order wrong. Even if I order the meal as is, (nothing special) they still screw it up. We’ve had some really rude order takers who choose to speak over us & ignore any questions we may have. If you’re craving tots & a cherry limeade, drive a little farther for better service, this location stinks.
