LEMONCURD special flavor of the month, YUMYUM! Just enough tang to cleanse the pallet. Would have received 5 stars but service was slower than normal, not great for a Saturday night. Still one of my favorite«sweet treat» places!

My husband and I have been here twice and this ice cream is freaking delicious. I’m an ice cream/frozen yogurt junkie so I usually love them all anyway but Hubby is not into sweets and he loves it. It’s so cold and barely melts by the time you’re done– amazing. I deducted one star because the employees can be extremely unprofessional. The first time we went hey were having an argument and yelling(yes, yelling, not just loud talking) at each other in front of customers(the line was to the door). This made them take a long time and made the customers uncomfortable. They were also insulting their current manager in front of customers. I’m a manager and if those were my employees, someone would have been fired. But oh, the ice cream is to die for!

This is one of the go-to ice cream places for me when I visit. I love how you can pick your type of cream!

The hype during the 20-minute-drive to this place was fantastic. I wish Sub-Zero could’ve remained as a illustrious vision in my mind. The liquid nitrogen wouldn’t have appeared gimmicky if the ice cream recipe would just… taste good. I tried the birthday cake and peanut butter flavors. The ice cream itself was creamy, but there was just too many layers of insane sweetness. The sprinkles on the birthday cake tasted like frosting and clashed unpleasantly with the sweetness of the cream, cake bits, and chocolate syrup. It was like a kid at a topping station threw together all his favorite things. As a concluding thought while i finished my ice cream, i realized how much a valued a stable table. Our ice creams nearly slid off the table when someone tried to used the table as a support to stand up. They were sticky and rainbow sprinkled too. I am glad that i came here because liquid N2 is so much fun. Like the Alamo, one time is enough, but you still feel obligated to bring out-of-town friends and family for the experience.

Long wait for the novelty. Try not to go on a Saturday night, even at 10pm it’s PACKED. It was a cool experience to see Icecream frozen in front of me but I did regret my menu choice Texture: really nice it lives up to the hype Taste: order something simple, I went for the sensations and didn’t realize the product would be mainly chocolate due to the process(thought they would throw the sprinkles and fudge on top, Nope, in it. Hello crunchy chocolate icecream haha!) Wait: annoying when one person waits in line but orders for a party of 5 Will I be back? Yes because I think if I trust again I will make a better menu choice

Liquid nitrogen ice cream?! Sign me up! I first saw this business on Shark Tank, and while I like the science-influenced wow-factor of the ice cream creation, and find the product pretty solid(get it?!), the service needs a bit of work. Like others have said, the ordering process is a bit confusing and the menu can be overwhelming for first-time visitors. Having a large line behind you and a teenage employee asking you several questions you don’t necessarily have an immediate answer to can be a little frustrating. There are pre-made desserts available on the menu, and these are pretty solid options, I suggest the Mass Mocha Madness(coffee ice cream with sweet chocolate, almonds, and heath bar). But the menu looks like it emphasizes customizing your order, which is the overwhelming part. So I’ll break it down. STEPONE: Pick your cream. There’s original, a custard version, and some lactose-friendly, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc option available so virtually anyone can eat here. Considerate but overwhelming. STEPTWO: Pick your base flavor for your cream. Just stick to what you usually like. STEPTHREE: Mix-ins. Just what it sounds like, additional toppings like fruits, sprinkles, syrups, candies, mixed into your ice cream. Choose what you want, watch them make it with liquid nitrogen in a fantastic vapor show, and enjoy. The process does not lend itself to a quick-moving line, and this spot gets busy after dinner, so plan to wait or come earlier in the day.

I highly recommend ordering from their menu instead of being what you think is adventurous and creating your own. I made that mistake trying to create my own and I tried the yogurt base and boy for my first time ever trying subzero that was a mistake as you can imagine it did not taste good nor looked anywhere close to what ice cream should look as it didn’t have enough fat in it to resemble ice cream. The place is Just fun to watch how they start from liquid to solid form as you stand in line to pick your base and then your flavor and toppings the most exciting part is the process of churning and mixing the ingredients you chose to see it turn into something you might actually eat. The three stars are for the employees who work hard there to entertain the influx of patrons who are either experiencing the concept for the first time or just love the ice cream and will go back. I can say for sure This is not the type of ice cream I would go out of my way to go get. It’s fun and neat concept it’s fun to watch and it’s exciting to see something in liquid form turn into something solid it’s like science class but the long line isn’t worth making me go back again.

The guy who took our orders never asked never asked if it was our first time here(shocker: It was.), so I felt kinda stupid ordering because he wasn’t much help… At all. After I figured out the kids orders I kinda had it down what to do. I order custard base as vanilla with Heath and rainbow sprinkles as my add ins. Once they add all those goodies there’s a huge blast of nitrous. It’s kinda like entering a smoky bar like back in the day when that stuff was allowed. The kids(okay, me too) thought it was the coolest thing. The«smoke» leaks under the glass so you get a tiny burst of cold air(which of course they fought over) and you could see condensation droplets dancing across the countertop. It was a pretty fun experience and the custard was really good. When I first got it it looked like bubbles… Almost like mushy dippin dots so I thought it was going to taste weird but it had a smooth texture and tasted like a creamy custard. It was $ 24 for 5 peeps so a little on the pricy side but I think it was we’ll worth it, even for a cheap-o like me.

This place has a cool concept where the ice cream gets made in front of you using nitrogen ice. Basically you choose a base, then the flavors you want(you can add as many flavors as you want), and one mix in(additional mix ins cost extra). My issue is that they have options for their bases that don’t really work. I chose almond milk as my base not because it was low fat, but because I genuinely like almond milk. I should have known when the girl helping me asked me if she could add agave to make it sweet that it was a bad decision, but alas I just thought it would not be as sweet as normal ice cream which I was okay with. What I got was flavorless ice. Perhaps if I got fruit flavors it would work better and it would be like a snow cone, but with the peanut butter and mocha flavors, it did not work. I mean I feel the low fat options should have a separate heading labeled ice as opposed to ice cream. However, this was my own fault for expecting ice cream from something with so little fat. I tried my friends with the custard base ice cream and it wasn’t bad. Either way I don’t think the flavors here would be spectacular, but it’s an interesting experience and worth a try!

It he ice cream they server is a different idea on the classic typical ice cream. The downfall is it take significantly more time to prepare the ice cream for the customer. Which in turn makes the line go out the door and turns away several possible customers. Majority of the employees are kids so be prepared for not the fastest of service. And if you need to pay with change they kids working here get quickly confused if you change your payment at the last minute to make change easier. For example. My totally was 10.80. I gave a $ 10 and a $ 5. They entered $ 15 into the iPad and I quickly came back and Said wait I have a dollar. The confusion on the servers face was priceless. She then had to get a calculator which cracked me up and then she gave me a $ 5 back from the register and two dimes. Lol. Kids man. Lol. Sadly the ice cream isn’t the most amazing ice cream you’ll ever have. It’s okay at best with different types of toppings similar to a marble creamery or cold stone. I’m not a huge fan of this place mainly because the quality of the ice cream and the time it takes to get your order. Nevertheless the ice cream is okay but I would recommend anyone coming to try it for a first time come during an afternoon. Still takes awhile for your ice cream but at least there isn’t a gaggle of people ahead of you.
