Super quick with their drive-thru and very friendly. I absolutely adore this place. They have some bomb breakfast tacos and were very fast in taking my order and getting my food out. I’ll be back for sure!

Beans are flavorless. Tasted old. Totillas weren’t very fresh either. Never again am i eating here.

I happen to pick up breakfast tacos at least once a week from here. They seem to do pretty good with the basic tacos(bean and cheese, bacon and egg, potato and egg, chorizo) the Machacado tacos are decent. Prices are also decent and the service is quick, love the drive thru and they have only messed up my order once or twice.

I love Tacos Ricos. Breakfast is consistently good in my opinion. Great tasting tortillas and salsa, everything else in between the taco is a bonus. I would take the negative reviews with a grain of salt because they don’t seem genuine and/or possibly targeted by competitors. Very quick with friendly drive thru service. I’ve been a very happy customer since the early 2000’s.

I was pretty excited to try this taco shop. Hole-in-the-walls made me assume they focused on the quality of the food over the décor. I imagined great quality street fare. Very disappointing. The food was very cheap quality lacking any flavor. It seems the only seasoning they used was lard and bland refried beans. I’d avoid it. Instead, try one of the taco trucks that open up at night on Bandera Road. There’s a great one in front of Advance Auto Parts. Look for the flashing LED lights.

I have been eating the tacos here off and on for a number of years. I believe the last time I ordered tacos was in March after coming back from a long road trip from Florida. The tacos were delicious, as always. Real homemade tortillas, loaded tacos… what more could you ask for. My oh my how thing have changed… This morning, i went by for the first time in months to pick up some tacos. I got bacon, egg, and cheese tacos. My girlfriend bacon, bean and cheese. Our son got a potato, egg, and cheese. The tortillas are no longer homemade. They are also about 2/3rds the size they used to be. The eggs were over salted. The beans were under seasoned(if seasoned at all). The tacos were alltogether, soaked in grease. Not only were they not a pleasure to eat, as they used to be, but they were smaller and more expensive than they used to be as well. I am unaware if there is new management or new ownership, but the economy is not recovering enough to make such a drastic change to such a simple product without the consumers noticing and having some reservations about trying it again.

I go here 2 – 3 times a week in the mornings at about 7. It’s not the cleanest restaurant ever but the food and prices are kickin’. Very small but not too crowded at 7AM :-) good restaurant!

First time to try out this venue and my family and I were very disappointed. The food tasted very old to the point it was not edible. We had to toss the food and caused upset stomachs.

This taco stand was once a fajita junction on my way to school in the 80’s. the location changed hands a few times. It has been just as it is now for about 15 years. I have narrowed my visits to a limited set of occasions and menu selections, alrhough many items are pretty good, the beef fajitas are unique, and provide a flavor that i feel is above this price range. Cilantro and onions no charge on fajitas. Service is quick and friendly. I would think I had bought enough tacos to get the button replaced at the drive through menu in the last 10 or 15 years

I am not a big fan of Mexican food, however I decided to give this place a shot due to the overwhelming amount of cars I would see pulling in here. They make their tortillas fresh daily and the taste definitely reflects that quality home cooking taste. The only downside to this place is that they close pretty early I think it was 2:30PM that I saw on their sign.

I wouldn’t eat a taco stand cause that has to be gross I mean is there a sink for them to wash their hands and when you aren’t looking they can scratch their oily noses and what now. Ok fine I’ve been to taco stands and I don’t know the grossness adds flavor? No never mind never go to a taco stand

Tacos Ricos is right on may way to work and I stop in a few times a week for breakfast tacos. They give you big, full tacos. Bean and cheese tacos seem to be the standard by which most people judge the quality of a taco place and I have to say I like theirs. My wife and a few coworkers say they’re too salty and sometimes they are, but usually they are very good. A great option there is the bean, chorizo and cheese taco. The migas taco is also really good. I’m a taco guy, so I haven’t tried their platters or tortas. So I can’t comment on those. Most of the customers use the drive thru of this small taco stand. Do not be deterred by what looks like a long line. They move along really quickly. I have never had a problem with my order; it has been right on every time and the staff is quick and friendly.
