I can’t believe this place is still open. First off I was excited that the place was called Thai Lao and so I was hoping they had Lao dishes but their menu was all Thai and sushi. It was completely empty which should have been a sign for me but I walked in anyways with the BF. We ordered the tom kha gai to share and I got the pad kee maow while he got one of their special noodle dishes. The soup was actually good so we felt better but then while we were enjoying our meal we heard loud tejano music from the back and about 15 minutes later our waiter came back with our dishes. We ordered TWO completely different dishes but they both looked exactly a like. They had the exact same veggies, had the same spice level and even tasted the same yet his was $ 2 more. Our noodles were so dry and bland we had to pack most of it to go, we didn’t even bother putting them in different containers.

This little sushi bar right by the mall is the best! When i walked in for a late dinner, a little before closing my husband and I were the only ones there except the waitress and her children. I have never had sushi previously and decided to try some without seaweed with my regular meal and soup. I didn’t expect much as it just didn’t seem like any of the other sushi bars that I have been to, or even any oriental restaurants that I have frequented. The service was SUPER fast(though that could have been because we were the only ones there) and the food was EXCELLENT! We paid a decent price for the good food too, but I believe it was well worth it and I will definitely be returning many many times!
