Nice looking place. Funny smell. Really bad drinks. No really, the drinks were terrible. Everyone ordered something different and everything was watered down and horrible. No wonder we were the only people there. If I could give no stars, I would.

This place was really bad. We were so disappointed because we had been looking forward to trying it First we were struck by the«Pine Sol» smell as we walked in. Wow. But then we were surprised that there was only about 4 other people there. But shortly after we arrived, one of those couples left. The next thing we noticed was the TVs that are throughout. More than half of those TVs had a very pink tint to the picture. So, not the best place to «watch a game» for sure. The third thing was that we walked up to the bar. And the only bartender there informed us that it was her first night there. Perfect! We settled for a beer on tap and a margarita. Can go wrong there, right? Well, except for the fact that it cost $ 17.32! $ 8.00 for a beer on tap??? Yeah, we left right away. The only saving grace. Hence, the one star was the live entertainment. The Work Brothers were playing awesome acoustic guitar cover music. We would have liked to stay to listen to them. But no… not going to pay those prices and inhale Pine Sol a moment longer.

I giving this an honest 4 because I am currently a fan. My friends and I went there because the happy hour is amazing. It ranges from 2 – 7(or 8pm) and wells are only $ 2.50. So, being the cheap college students that we are, we headed out to the Loose Moose. First Impressions: It looked like a swanky cabin designed by a 27 year old, hit-or-miss interior designer who wanted to reinvent the moose into some hipster type of animal. I guess I’m kind of neutral to the look of the place. We sat at the bar, though there were also some couches and tables. At ~7:00pm there were only 2 other people in the bar. Drinks: I ordered 1 screwdriver and a whiskey coke, but ended up drinking maybe 2 more screwdrivers and a «liquid marijuana» shot. I’m not really clear how that happened, but right after I would finish one drink the bartender had another one ready even though I didn’t ask for it. I drank them all, so I won’t complain. But, I can definitely see how someone else would not appreciate that. The drinks were standard wells, I wasn’t really expecting much in that department. My tab, on the other hand, was only ~$ 12 and for 5 drinks(I bought my friends some) I’m incredibly impressed. For that reason alone I will probably come back during happy hour. Bottom line: Great happy hour all at the expense of staying in a groovy looking cabin with an inconsistent playlist of music and being served by a maybe sketchy bartender.

The crowd is mostly made up of 40 + year olds so not a place for a young crowd gathering. The music is country so far and it kind of kills the vibe, the drinks are on par with any local dive bar. Their moscow mule is a tragedy… all n all I don’t think I will be returning here anytime soon.
