The Massage Ninja

I just finished my first massage with Dustin and cannot wait for my next. I feel like a completely different person than I did when I walked in.
When I came, I was suffering from a 2 day migraine that excedrin, Tylenol, or aspirin couldn’t help… after an hour with him, I am 100% migraine free. More so, I am more relaxed than I’ve been in years. He also helped me with some stress caused tension in my neck/​shoulder area.
After the massage he gave me advice on things I could do at home that would help relieve my migraines and tension. He truly cares about his clients’ well being… and his prices are great!

Dustin is really that good! I have had a couple sessions with him so far and have decided I will be coming to Dustin from now on.
## Great Prices, No Contracts, Better Massages!
I was hesitant at first because A) I have never had a massage by a male and B) I had only been to Massage Envy/​Resort type chains. Not only is Dustin a complete professional like at the Massage Envy, he is very knowledgeable and his prices are unbelievably reasonable especially after you see how much care he puts into your massage! No crazy contracts and all that jazz? Awesome! Oh, and his massages are much, much, MUCH better than any I’ve experienced else where.
## Tailored Massages
I have never had a massage so tailored to my needs. In fact, I went because a specific problem with low back/​hip joint pain was bothering me so much and yet he quickly identified and worked on other issues as well that I hadn’t mentioned (but boy am I glad he worked on those issues as well).
## What to Expect
–Initial Paperwork at first visit– nothing crazy or long. Just basic info and identification of areas you DO AND DON’T want massaged.
–Dark, low lit room for massage with aroma
–Massage table with sheet.
–Relaxing music
–Feeling so good afterwards that you wonder why you didn’t know about the massage ninja sooner.

All the other reviews say it all– he is pretty great! I had nerve pain from my shoulder down my arm and after only one visit I felt relief. He really takes his time to work out problem areas if that is what you need.
He is reasonably priced and easy to talk to, but doesn’t talk during the session, which I prefer. He was also flexible on available times. I already know I will have to see him regularly.
You will not regret going to see this guy! Treat yourself. You deserve it.

I had sore muscles from hockey and the day I had my appointment, I also had a terrible hangover. Not only did Dustin take the soreness away but he knew exactly what to do with my throbbing hangover I had too! Awesome guy. Would definitely recommend. 5 Stars!

Dustin is the man to see if you have neck pain and headaches. I’m a student and suffer from chronic neck and upper back pain due to the «study position», which causes regular tension headaches. I’ve lost count of how many massage therapists I’ve been to, but Dustin is by far my favorite. His understanding of anatomy and muscle physiology is evident in his work. He will go above and beyond your session and research new ways to knead out knots or relieve tension personalized to you and your ailments.

Best massage ever and very reasonably priced! I’ve had many massages, but this is by far the best.

I’ve only seen Dustin for 3 sessions, but I can already tell we’re UNdoing lots (sweeeeeeet relief!) of the cumulative postural issues that have been developing in my body over the last couple years from «full speed ahead in career mode.»
Unfortunately I am guilty of succombing to the trend of «sitting too much» because of work, and despite trying to remain attentive to ergonomics and lifting mechanics, nothing can really replace the importance of an EXCELLENT massage therapist — and that’s what Dustin is!
His skills (we do 90 minute sessions) leave me feeling like i’m actually laying on his table flatter, because when i walk in there’s just so much tension in my hips, shoulders, calfs, that my spine feels like the curves are waaaaay excessive; but when he’s done working his magic, tissues are pliable again and my skeleton can nestle right back into place, closer to where it should be.
I sought Dustin out during the weeks prior to a big promotion, it got to where i was spending so many hours at the desk, and carrying stress through my neck, that I couldn’t shoulder check without wincing. That pain was gone after our very 1^st session!
I went back the next week in hopes that it could provide some «me time» and clear my headspace leading up to an all important presentation, and Dustin added in some stretches for my tight glutes — soooo GOOD.
The 3^rd time i walked in I asked for more of that, and that at the 2^nd session whatever he had done on the lateral edge of my scapulae felt like MAGIC — so in 3 sessions, i feel like we’re already covering heaps of ground, and I look forward to the day when it’s mostly just «tune ups»; the work promotion is behind me and i don’t plan on stopping this important piece of self care!
I do yoga and strength train, but having such knowledgeable hands working on me really compliments how I hope to age gracefull (*fingers crossed!*).
San Antonio became my home 2 years ago, when I relocated from Canada where I had been able to get massages regurlarly via health benefits at work — was a huge perk getting that compensated by the company, but I wholeheartedly believe that spending the money on massage now is going to be less dollars out for healthcare when i’m older!
I’m quite picky when it comes to practicitioners, and i’m telling all my local San An peeps that they need to get themselves an appointment with Dustin, no matter how far they need to drive from their own neighborhood!

Dustin Dear is the best massage therapist I’ve encountered — which is why I keep going back to him. He is very professional and does great work. I feel very comfortable with him, and always leave feeling totally relaxed. Plus, he’s a nice guy!

Dustin is an excellent massage therapist! He is very professional and keeps a very organized and timely schedule. I have easily been able to schedule appointments by texting, which I find very convenient. You can also call to schedule if you prefer, however.
I have never been one for regular massages, due to the expense and the time commitment, but I am now a believer! The costs here are extremely reasonable, by the way!
Dustin takes the time to ask thorough questions about any health concerns or issues and to really focus on specific areas of pain. I am very health conscious and I appreciate this health oriented, therapeutic approach. I hadn’t realized massage can not only help with any current problems but also help prevent future problems as well.
I plan to keep coming back for regular massages now. What a great investment in my health!

Dustin is great! I have a lot of nerve pain in my feet and shoulders and have been to a few places around town but by far he has been the best. I’m really comfortable and walk out feeling amazing. He has a flexible schedule and he will fit you in.
