Uniquely unique, what fun! And we found the perfect thing for our project. Super nice people, super cool stuff!

Mario at Yeya’s was a pleasure to do business with. There are many treasures to be had here but you must have time to look around. This place is awesome if you are into industrial architecture. I found a great chandelier, a cart that I’m repurposing, great redeaux of a Lone Star beer sign, some great industrial wheels and many other treasures! He’s ready to make a deal for serious buyers and the prices aren’t bad. You are not going to steal the stuff but he’ll give you a great deal!

Awesome weird stuff first time in San Antonio and this place was right up my alley. Picked up some strange dental stuff and a few doll parts. Would love to get more

Pricey??? Yeya“s? Mario is as good as it gets– great eye for fabulous finds at give-away prices. Been furnishing my yard, my house, my friends and family FORYEARS from Yeya’s, the only shop of its kind. I’m a lawyer and have never seen anything like the things I have found at Yeyas — I could(and have) spent hours here — never left without something to love. Mario — good health and prosper — I’d rather shop at eclectic, amazing, exciting, unique, fabulous Yeyas than anywhere! I guarantee– it’s a must-see!

I could literally spend hours going through everything here! There is tons of junk, oddities, treasures, and everything in between. Prices are a bit steep on some things but somethings are just worth it. The owner is amazingly helpful. He knows where everything is, in what seem like an endless cove of junk. It’s just mind blowing. Yeya’s is just one of those places you have to experience firsthand.

The prices in this place are a joke. We found a painting that was obviously done by beginner art student that didn’t even come in a frame and the owner wouldn’t drop the price below $ 75. «It was done by a listed artist. You can search for that name and find expensive art.» Well, mister, I will tell you now that every search I’ve done for the artist«Studie Potrat» has come up with nothing. There’s some really cool stuff here. Like *really* cool stuff. But the price points are guaranteed to keep them from moving very much merchandise. When you can’t even say if a clock works, don’t try to sell it for more than $ 25. And they’re kidding if they think they’ll get $ 30 for a ring of identical rusted keys.

This place is my heaven on earth! If you love to junk, upcycle and restore, or if rust is you friend, you will be in heaven too. Random rusty hardware, vintage gears, steampunk galore, old signs, letters, numbers… Way to much to list. The owner is awesome. Met him and told him what I like to create. He showed me all around and made great deals with me on all my found objects. I would’ve stayed there all day buying things if I weren’t flying all the way back to Indiana. He even came after me as I was leaving to give me a couple of other things he thought I might like! TONS of supplies waiting to be repurposed!

We absolutely LOVE this place! If you are expecting pristine, then Yeya’s is not the place for you; but if you are an artist, crafter, gardener, or any other creative type who likes to discover treasures that can be brought back to life with just a little tender loving care, the you will think you’ve died and gone to heaven as soon as you walk into Yeya’s yard. An example of this: my husband and I spent about an hour digging through pieces of large concrete fountains. We trucked it home, put our mismatched pieces together, put a terra cotta wash on the concrete, added a fountain pump, and now we have a concrete fountain that would probably go for over a thousand dollars easily. We paid less than $ 100 for the pieces. I love the less-than-perfect stuff that I find there. Mario and Julio are super helpful and always willing to work out a deal. The other great thing about them is that they support local business and artists!!! We never go here and leave empty-handed.

This place is so-so. I’ve been a few times and never found anything that completely wow’ed me but there are some decent items at ok prices. The guys that run the place are pretty cool but there is never anything that I’ve had to have which is rare because i LOOOOVE to shop. It’s worth checking out if you’re fond of digging for treasure but arent disappointed if you dont necessarily find any. eh…
