It was so cool to find this spot and the food is good. However, recently as of this week they decided to implement a $ 3.00 up charge for switching from a Pad See Ew Noodle to a Pad Thai Noodle which is a thinner noodle. The meals cost the exact same!!! How does that make any logical sense? I understand if you are switching from a rice to a noodle or vice versus or getting shrimp with your mean but this is asinine to charge me this amount for two meals that are both $ 10.99. Unbelievable!

So just moving to the area I decided to try out a local Thai spot. I ordered the Pad se ewe as take out. Its one of my goto dishes. So I ordered the dish as thai hot which is one step below the hottest they offer. I get home and open the box, low and behold I have another dish with lots of vegetables about 2 oz of chicken and enough rice for three. Its edible not a place Ill visit again. The spiciness of the dish was on point.

Came back to this place today because of good food. The menu was outdated tried to order a certain item and waitress said they don’t serve it anymore, picked an item again and waitress said we don’t serve it too. I replied you a lot of discontinued items in menu, and she said sorry the menu is 5 years old. Made our orders and while waiting, they never gave us our silverwares if we did asked for it. At the time there is not much people and Waitress seems so busy. Our order is soup came she never provided spoons for our soup. Our pad thai was not serve if we did not asked for it. She does not care of the need of her customers. She also gave us a refill of water and seems irritated. She needs to have more training to give utensils, napkins, refill waters in timely manner, a see if the food been ordered has been serve. Btw, we just ate on an appetizer plate! DEFINITELYWILLNOTRECOMMENDEDORCOMEBACK! Don’t get me wrong the food is great but horrible horrible service. One last thing my daughter saw the server that she rolls her eyes whenever we add or ask something. She don’t need to bring her problems at work if she have one. She is in a service and food business. I’m hoping the manager or the owner of the restaurant read this review.

The pad Thai is average. Not that tasteful. But its decent if you’re just wanting a quick pad Thai stop. Their boba is good however. Their durian boba tea most especially!

For Hair or to go? Well, we used to love this place however, the last two times we have had delivery from there I have found hair in my food. Two weeks apart. It’s disgusting and I’m completely disgusted by this place. Hair nets, people! Hair nets!

This review is specifically for their delivery service. My parents called in an order this evening and the entire process from placing the order and receiving our food at the door was smooth and professional. We ordered the pad woon sen, chicken with broccoli and cashew chicken. The delivery driver arrived in a timely manner and was very kind. She even offered to give us change even though we told her she could keep it as a tip. The food looked and tasted delicious. I wish I had taken photos! In particular the chicken with broccoli had a great mix of savory and sweet flavor. The portion of pad woon seen was very generous and easily could feed several people. We were very happy with our experience and look forward to dining at the restaurant in person.

Is really bad when is full! Bad service, but the food is good. You order something and in a minute later they are out of the food:0(Came for lunch at noon on a Friday. Feel disappointed!

I’m a little disappointed in their tom yum soup. The broth should be very clear and light with a killer spicy level but what I got… Well, I got a «spicy» and it tastes like a mild. The broth also settled to this murky, heavy soup that reeks of pork broth and not the seafood/shrimp broth I love. On the other hand, their pad kee Mao is pretty delicious and I will probably order again. Skip tom yum, go for their noodles.

First time there and wanted to try the bubble tea’s and they were out of several flavors. Then Sunday they only serve diner items so that means all plates will be more expensive. I paid $ 10.99 for chicken pad Thai it was okay but I have had better. I don’t think I would come back.

I’ve only been here for lunch and have not been disappointed. The lunch portions are perfect. The egg roll/spring roll is a little small, but oh well. I have ordered the Massaman(?) curry with steamed white rice. It was very good and full of flavor. I almost licked the bowl clean. The little appetizer soup that comes with the lunch has a good chicken broth and is full of tofu and celery. Very simple, yet appealing. If you get a chance to order some Bubble Tea, you will not be disappointed with the offerings they have.

This location is in Alamo Ranch area. I like that fact that I can call in my order and they will have it ready in less than 15 mins. I normally will shop around on my lunch hour and when I just want something different to eat Yum Thai pops in my head. So I reach for my phone, the Unilocal app and look for their number. There friendly staff member greats with good morning Yum Thai how can I help you. I give her my order of Pad Thai chicken hot which come with an egg roll, and some limes. She asked for my name and phone number. Once I was done shopping I drove straight over there. Guess what my order was ready and waiting for me. The cashier was fast and friendly. I was in and out of there in no time. So if you in the area and want to try some great Thai food give Yum Thai a try. I’ll be back sooner than later that’s for sure.

Some YUMMMMMMY Thai indeed! Cashew chicken is my favorite! Cantaloupe or mellow boba tea gives me LIFE!

I came in and ordered the Thai Chicken Cashew. The last time I was here i had my order made medium on the heat scale. I decided I would go for a higher heat level the next time I came in. So this time I ordered the«hot». It was better, but still not spicy enough, do I added some chili oil. This boosted it and it was great! Next time maybe Thai hot. Ended the meal with a Blueberry Boba Tea. Perfect way to end the meal.

The Pad Prik Ghing is one of my favorites. The kaffir lime leaves really make the flavor of the curry stand out, and I love the bite of the fresh green beans. Service is pretty good(don’t expect white tie service), but you can expect to be greeted and seated quickly. The lunch specials all come with a broth based soup(except for to-go orders), egg roll or crab Rangoon, and lots of the main dish. My only complaint is that they run out of bubble tea flavors often. Overall, this is a pretty solid place for lunch to get lots of reasonably priced food.

So this was my third time at Yum Thai, I’ve never eaten in– only taken out. For the most part I’ve been really happy with the food! Be careful when you ask for heat over«regular», as my second meal was fairly ruined because I couldn’t eat it! I only got a 3! This time I got the«regular», and it’s a little too bland. That said, it’s still delicious. Prices are fairly comparable, though slightly high in my opinion. The biggest star for Yum Thai is the service. Every time I’ve been in, the girls were very cordial and accommodating. Additionally, they get their meals out very quickly! I would definitely recommend this restaurant:)

I just moved to the area two weeks ago and I’ve already been to Yum Thai 3 times! This place is legit! They have all my favorite Thai dishes. I have tried their beef salad, Tom kah gai(soup), crying tiger, and mango with sticky rice. I have been satisfied with all my meals with the exception of the crying tiger because the meat was a little dry. It tasted like it was pre-cooked and then just warmed up before they brought it out. I’ve had friends order the pad see ew and pad Thai and they were both pleased with their meals as well. I already know I’ll be a regular at this place!

I ordered the Goong Ob Mor Din Which is steamed king prawns and scallops served in a clay pot with glass noodles, mushroom, ginger, garlic and coriander root with soy sauce. I was very disappointed with this dish because it does not say anything about bacon in this dish and I don’t eat pork. I got this as a «take-out» and could not eat it. I have eaten this before but this time was a thumbs down for not having bacon as part of the description on the menu.
