Mr. Aviles received a retainer of $ 10,000 to represent a client in a conservancy hearing. He was dismissed from the case by the judge within a week of his retainer due to conflict of interest. He failed to return the balance of funds for quite some time and only did so under the threat of legal action. Beware his unethical ways.

Mr. Moises A. Aviles, attorney at law, owes me money for services rendered on 10÷2÷13. I am a federally certified interpreter. This was a case at the U. S. District Court in Riverside. I am self employed, company of one. His office was desperately looking for an interpreter for a trial in Riverside. I needed to be there by 3 o’clock as ordered by the judge.
I requested a confirmation by email, and terms were agreed upon. I drove 65 miles one way. I appeared at the time and place requested. I completed my services and invoiced Mr. Aviles. He refuses to pay me. He said he sent the invoice to his client. I was hired by his office, not his client. I make a living providing services directly to the courts and I am contracted by numerous legal firms because of my credentials and experience. This has been one of the most blatant disregard I have ever seen from an attorney toward another professional. I have over 20 years experience in this field and I am still baffled at his lack ethics. Hopefully, Mr. Aviles will pay and save himself the trouble of showing up for small claims court where I will file a complaint.
