The bbq pork spring rolls are so good. Also their sandwiches are so fresh, tasty and priced well. I am always greeted with smiles and never feel unwelcome. It’s a small area but it’s very clean and well decorated. You can tell that they really care about the restaurant and the quality food they make.

My family and I love this place! It’s our favorite place for phó! I always get the beef and meatball, my husband loves the chicken and our little loves both! When our oldest is with us, she likes ordering the teriyaki chicken and rice bowl. And days when we’re feeling super hungry we order one of the sandwiches and share it! We’ve tried the teriyaki chicken, pastrami, roast beef, and shrimp. They’re are all yummy! The girls and I love the boba! But if you’re not privy to boba like my husband the smoothies are great without, as well!

I really enjoy the #1 Express Special sandwich. It has a medley of meats with cilantro cucumber carrots and jalapeños. I’ve also had their phở, it is decent but they don’t focus on it. Not enough variety of ingredients for the toppings. I really think they should focus more on the phở it would be a hit because of the prime location. Order more ingredients and call it Phở Express! Lol

With what looks like a good place with good reviews, I had to be the one to get the shitty experience. Service was terrible, got my order wrong twice and they over billed me. Couldn’t really argue with’em either due to the language barrier. In the end I was hoping the food would make up for the bad experience. it didn’t. It was such a let down. Don’t go here.

I love stopping by here on my way to class! Friendly owners! I get the same thing every time! Chicken phở and Thai tea with boba!

Someday I will order something besides the BBQ Pork. IT’S SOOOGOOD. Having lived in France, I truly appreciate freshly baked baguettes. Their green ice tea and French-style coffee are my beverages of choice. Absolutely scrumptious!!!

Really good sandwiches. It’s one of my top recommendations if you are in the CSUSB area.

This is the worst phở ever. I can’t believe this place has 4 stars to all you inexperienced phở eaters who gave this place a good rating. This is terrible. Service is horrible, the restaurant is dirty and I see bugs crawling. They don’t put really any meat in the soup and it taste like plain water. They don’t really offer any features to eat with your soup. It comes with just plain noodles and shredded chicken that fit on the soup spoon.

Try the veggie sandwich for my fellow veggie fiends: I had thought I was going to get a boring, plain sandwich sprinkled with a few sparse raw veggies… and I was wrong! It’s a really good veggie«meat» that they use, along with some really tasty raw veggies. I get mine with extra jalapeño for that extra heat. They use a really yummy butter/mayo type spread to flavor the sandwiches, and the baguettes they make onsite are SOGOOD. Plus, they sell the baguettes by themselves if you ever are in need(no more buying stale baguettes at the grocery store for me!). The Thai tea & Milk tea are really good too, but I’m not too particular about it, so I can’t really give you a good comparison on those. The Phở was ok — not really the best I’ve had, but honestly… if you go to a place that focuses on baguettes, why would you bother getting anything else anyway? It’s like getting chicken at a pizza place… weird.

They have good boba but i am not a fan their extremely small subs, maybe I’ve not the best person to review their subs as i only gave them one shot but it wasn’t the tender chicken teriyaki sub i expected to get. Their boba on the other never lets me down i love the unique flavors.

A little pricey but absolutely amazing sandwiches, the vegetarian was awesome, they are thin sandwiches, so I always get the 12″, when usually, I can barely finish a Subway 6″. Their teas and smoothies are really good as well. Great fresh food. Will continue to go back.

Food is really good but freakin’ expensive and for a guy that loves to eat this place is only for people with small appetites. EXPENSIVEANDNOTENOUGHFOOD! The best Phở is in Diamond Bar, Phở Super Bowl

So I followed this joint from it’s SGV days, Before it was across the street at Ralphs on University. It used to be on Valley Blvd. in San Gabriel/Rosemead areas(can’t remember cross streets) … I followed it because I used to frequent the place and suddenly there was a sign that said«sorry we moved«with the new address . all I can say is the quality has REALLY gone down. Portion size: Price ratio was a bit off. $ 7 for a tiny Bahn mi with a few pieces of meat. Can’t say much for Phở, though it was about $ 7 for the bowl its had very minimal contents. Maybe one meatball chopped into bits and 1 – 3 slices of meat . Maybe people in SB don’t know any better, but I’ve decided I will gladly drive to the SGV next time I’m craving Bahn mi or Phở . P.s, my «vietnamese coffee» was some watered down hazelnut regular strength coffee, not espresso like coffee with condensed milk. I’m just saying. I hate to write reviews like this. But I had previously suggested some IE friends go here; now I told them not to waste their time.

I absolutely love this place! I discovered it in college and still occasionally make a trip because I’m craving the pesto turkey baguette with hoisin sauce. Their milk tea is also really yummy. It was a great place to go between classes.

A friend bought me a baguette from here a few years ago. It was my first time trying a baguette and I have been coming back here on my own ever since. I love how simple and flavorful their chicken baguette is. Marinated chicken, cucumber, carrots, cilantro, jalapeño, and pepper(with the option to customize – I usually order with no jalapeño and extra cilantro). The sandwich is thin which makes for convenient eating. There have been only a couple times when I wasn’t satisfied because the chicken had pieces of fat or there was too much sauce and it made the bread soggy. I’ve also tried their egg rolls. I’m not a huge fan of «fast food Chinese» egg rolls but I have been quite pleased with theirs. They make them fresh to order so the each time I’ve received them, they were still burning hot. Their Thai tea and taro tea are decent. The Thai tea reminds me of the powdered packets that can be purchased from any Asian market. The taro tea also has a powdered flavor to it. Doesn’t really taste like taro, but it does taste good and sweet. This is my go to spot for baguettes and I would recommend it to others.

I really like this place. The restaurant itself is kind of small but never seems to get crowded when I’m there, so that’s okay. The teriyaki sandwich is by far my favorite. The staff hasn’t exactly made the friendliest impression on me but it’s not a big deal, I appreciate little interaction sometimes. Other than that I strongly recommend.

Being that restaurants like this aren’t as available/frequent as cities in sgv or westminister/gg; This place is recommendable. Honestly, I do not like the more authentic vietnamese places only because I am picky and do not like fatty meat so this place is perfect for me. Reasonable prices for yummy banh mi and thai tea thats close to campus. what more could i ask for?

TLDR version: it’s ok but more expensive than comparable places. Sandwiches not tasty enough for me to come back. The good: fresh bake baguette. Good cream coffee. The bad: special baguette is skimpy on meat. Meats are tasteless. I can’t tell between ham, sausage, pâté, cold cuts, etc… Condiments are tasteless if you expect VN pickled condiments. But I actually smell the fridge in the condiments. Ice coffee has too much ice. The verdict: if it was in the San Gabriel Valley, it would be out of business from the competition. Not much competition in the IE so it’s better than nothing. But I wish it was better or at least average compared to SGV. I would have given 3 stars but the sandwich was over priced. I can smell the HEAVY fish sauce in the phở from the kitchen and the lady phở bowl next to me. I know it’s a VN place but it was too over powering not in a savory way.

OMG their chicken banh mi is mouthwatering good. The chicken is flavorful and moist. Their baguettes are crispy yet soft in the middle. Considering the area, theyre one of the better banh mi shops. I just wish they weren’t so far from me. A definite must for a quick, affordable and tasty meal!

3.5 stars. If Baguette Express was in the San Gabriel Valley, I’d rate them at an even three stars. Seated in a strip mall near CSU San Bernardino, this small shop specializes in banh mi. They also have a tiny selection of phở, but for some reason I always find myself in this area when it’s 90+ degrees, so I’m never craving a piping hot bowl of soup. Although I’m a sucker for a grilled pork bbq banh mi, I find the flavors here are muted and there isn’t much meat in each sandwich($ 4.99 for a footlong). Same goes for their chicken banh mi. It’s not bad, but just doesn’t have that kick that I’m used to(and, yes, they do include pickled carrots, daikon, cilantro, and jalapeño). However, since banh mi joints are few and far between in the Inland Empire and coming here instead of the SGV will save you plenty of time and gas money, I’m giving them an extra half star.
