Countdown

First year going to Countdown, it was awesome BUT REEEEAAAALLLLLYYYY freakin’ cold! It was 39 degrees. While you’re in the stages you can’t really feel it, especially if you’re dancing WHICH YOU SHOULD be because that’s what it is all about!
Pasquale [CEO] never disappoints. Yes, it’s pricey. BUT IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH IT! Just know when you’re buying a ticket, you’re buying an experience & the experience is worth much more than money.
Although it’s getting a lot more mainstream, you’ll still find your regular ravers and plur lovers! It’s funny, I never take any Kandi but somehow at the end of the night I always end up with at least 3 Kandi bracelets!
Back to Countdown, I mostly stayed at the main stage resolution. I saw Yellow Claw, Flux Pavilion, Carnage, Dj Snake, Cookie Monsta, & Kaskadeeee! They were ALLLLL awesome ! My favorite set was Flux only because I’m more of a hardstyle person & he killed it !
The only thing I didn’t like was the ice rink, it was cheap and not safe at all. Kinda looked like fake ice lol I didn’t even bother to skate. My boyfriend and I thought it would be fun to skate because he plays hockey but after looking at the ice rink we thought probably not! Oh also there were a lot of gangsters and it’s annoying because they just stand there while you’re trying to dance and it’s so uncomfortable I don’t even understand why they even go. All they do is record the whole set. Best advice is, put your phone in your bag and leave it there. You’ll miss the whole event if you don’t + the time goes by faster when you keep looking at your phone.
Next time, I will definitely come in a onesie and make a totem so it’s easier to find my rave fam!

My first insomniac event ever and I had am amazing time !! It was nothing short of absolutely spectacular and I don’t know if my New Year’s Eve will ever be the same again ;) I hope to always be at an insomniac event to ring in a new year ;) everything was so well organized and such a beautiful scenery. Excellent line up and nothing but friendly kind festive headliners all around. Thank you for an incredible time !!

It’s so cold. Everyone wore a onesie in anticipation of the cold. Boy were we wrong. I should’ve worn a sleeping bag.
