Guess I will be the first to do this. *shrugs* Pros: ***You can smoke cannabis here, legally and with full encouragement from festival organisers, as long as you are carrying your card/prescription/whatever it is that statutes in CA require. ***The line-ups are quite eclectic — sorta as if an unapologetic pothead had done the bookings — and you get performances from a vast array of artists, e.g., Cypress Hill, Incubus, Erykah Badu, MGMT, Deadmau5, Nas & Damian Marley, Manu Chao, Atmosphere, et al. ***Police and security generally with a laissez-faire attitude, letting people do what they want as long as they are not hurting anyone or absurdly disruptive(female Smokeoutters: do not try to go into the men’s restroom because the queue for the women’s is too long; you are creating a dangerous powderkeg). ***Pricepoint. Cons: —Guerilla Union. —Food sucks(probably, even if you are high). —Venue sucks even more(probably, even if you are not high). —Roadways in San Bern are not equipped to handle that amount of traffic. —The goddamn queues to come in are absurdly slow. Dude, people are bringing in cannabis. I understand you might not wish«stronger» «hard» drugs to be brought in, since a death here due to narcotics would be catastrophic for your cause, movement, and what-have-you, but … for fucks sake. Stop checking every single item in a make-up kit! —Enormous make-up kits. Not a pro or a con, but simply observations: ~~~Tent for EDM is too fucking small. Not that I care, but it would go directly under cons if I was there for it. Just an observation. ~~~This event is comically an «All Ages» affair. *fills in «Good for Kids: Yes» bubble below* — E
