The business is located in the Stater Bros parking lot, west of the business. The interior of thr business is semi clean and their staff is ok. The one thing I don’t like is that the meat is already placed into the initial bowls, unlike other Mongolian restaurants that allows the customer to pick their own amount of meat. The experience is just ok but it’s not my first, second or third. This is only a place I would and will attend when I am close and I am really hungry.

Disgusting! Unhappy workers and you can’t take your left overs home, what a waste! Buffet area was trashed and the workers walked past it several times without cleaning it up.

You go here for fresh, healthy, yummy food. Don’t expect service or good service. Lunch today was $ 12.96 with egg rolls, rice and hot tea. It is a good place for quick, healthy and inexpensive food.

Last time I ate at this place was in 1991. If I have to wait another 25 years to eat here again, it won’t be that bad. Compared to other Mongolian BBQs, this place is very lacking. They don’t have a lot of choices, no chicken or bell peppers, and my stir-fry had a weird taste to it. They«cleaned» up their image from being closed by the health department several years ago, but still not great.

This place is completely average. When I walked in the door the ambience was decent, however I was not greeted at the door and had to find my own seat. The lady who took my order barely knew English and could not help me with my dietary needs, when asked a simple question of what was in the food. She didn’t even take the initiative to get up and ask. The food is extremely greasy and oily… They do have exotic vegetables however it’s very messy on the line and bit unsanitary. I would never come here again.

Great food but the lunch special is a rip off compared to dinner. Dinner a all you can eat for $ 9 and lunch is one bowl with pre portioned meat for $ 6. And the lady owner who is ALWAYS there is nice but you can’t get a water refill to save your life!

I wish i can give this place 5 stars. The food is amazing especially if ur trying to watch what you eat. The cooks are awesome as well. The only down fall for this amazing place is the women that run it. They’re professional and very pleasing but every single time i go with my family that damn Chinese lady ALWAYS gives me my bill with her tip included! I dont want to tip you lady! So please dont include your tip in my bill. Dinner is 9.67 with all tax included. So i go with my family of 4(total for that is $ 38.68) and she always charges me $ 40.68 Im tired of her cheating me. If she does that to me she has to do it to the other customers.

This place is a simple Mongolian BbQ joint. Ive seen places as susch with wider selections but everything here was fresh to say the least. Sauces include instructions for acquiring a particular taste and theres a choice of lamb, beef, pork, and turkey for meats. Sauces seem watered down so use more than recommended. Use the smaller pieces of veggies. Larger pieces tend to not cook throughout the way i prefer. The chef does a good job cooking everything thoroughly, not overcooking. My food was a little bland but tasteful esp after i added soy an sihracha. Next time ill use more sauces. Service was dry but tolerable. Price was great. $ 9 for dish, rice, egg roll, sesame bread, soup, and chow mein sticks, Jasmine tea. That and freshness is why ill recommend this place. Can be cleaner though.

I gave it two stars cause the food is actually pretty decent for the price… But be prepared for no free refills and always get bad service no matter what day you go count on bad service… I have been here on multiple occasions and always literally cross my fingers and hope for the best. They have fountain sodas but no free refills which I think is crazy…

I drove am hour to get to this place. The hours on Unilocal says they close at 9 pm. I walked in at 8:35 pm and they refused to serve me. I may be more emotional at this time because I’m hungry, but what a let-down. I would have given this place 3 stars, but the wrong hours and not posting correct hour, combine that with my hunger and the 55 min drive, I consider this place lacking the care for customer experience. Change your hours of operation. Your wasting people’s time and that pisses me off.

Restaurants have tons of things that make or beak them. I’ve come here for several years. The food was along the healthier side. Items to put in your plate go from turkey, chicken, beef and lamb. There is also a variety of veggies. This is why I would come here. Then I came one time and there was a «B» in the window. Yikes! But I do know that there could be a small infraction that could get that grade dropped. Maybe a leaking fridge, or temperatures are off.(I think we all pay attention to those letters) if you don’t you should. So my last visit there was the letter«A» in the window! I was like«YES!» I’m about to grub. Got my bowl of turkey added all my fixin’s and added pineapple(cuz I love pineapple) don’t judge me. Waited for the cook to put it on the grill it was done in minutes. I sat down and and began to eat. After about a few bites. I remembered how much I missed this place. Went to grab a little salt and pepper off the table for a littles dash of seasoning. Said to myself«I’m gonna add some sesame seeds. I just so happen to look in the jar and what did I see. A FLYDEADINTHEJAR. I was like noooo!!! So I moved the jar side to side to confirm my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me. He was in fact dead as h£ll. Lol. I kindly told the waiter. He took the jar from the table. I couldn’t finish the food after that. Kept thinking what else might be crawling around on or in the food. I can’t go back. Sorry guys. Cleanliness is very important for any restaurants success.

Food is fine but this review is about the honesty of the associates. Our group left a phone there and called to check if it was there not 10 minutes after having left. The person on the phone said they had not found one and would not check with the staff. We drove back to the place and looked for the phone near our booth. It was not there although the table had been bussed. It was only once my friend asked to see the security cameras that the phone was magically found by the same person who had bussed the table. I will never go back and advise everyone to keep an eye on their belongings and take purses with you to get your food.

I really hope that«Mongolian Fresh» is merely the name of this place, and not the term used to described how fresh Mongolian food is supposed to be(yeah, you can tell we’re going to be going down a bad road can’t you). When you come to the meat counter, you’ll notice that the meats are already portioned in bowl for you. The meat is sitting in a bowl, under lamps(not heat lamps, but I mean, any light bulb gives off heat… right?). Your meat choices are turkey, lamb, beef or pork(none of which I am a fan. I was sad there was no chicken). Next up down the line are your sauces. Not too many, and nothing very imaginative: house sauce, «spicy» sauce, garlic sauce, lemon sauce and oil. Lastly, your add-ons. First thing that screamed«Don’t do it» to me was the Tofu. It already started to take on a yellowish tinge to it. It wasn’t slimy or smelly(yet), but it didn’t look appetizing at all. Some of my favorite veggies didn’t look very appealing either: the tomatoes were slightly green, the bok choy was browning on the edges, the lettuce was wilted; it wasn’t looking good. Ultimately, I went with some ripe looking pieces of tomato, a little Chinese noodles, regular and green onions and broccoli(and overwhelmingly simple combination of ingredients due to the off putting looks of everything else). My food only touched the grill for about a minute. Now, I’m no expert in cooking Mongolian BBQ, but I’ve visited my fair share over the years to know it usually takes a little longer than that to get those flavors to meld, and for stuff to cook. Oh well though, no turning back now. First thing I noticed was how overly oily the entire dish was. I don’t know how this happened if I refrained from adding cooking oil to my dish. Anyway, the veggies weren’t cooked(tomato tasted like raw tomato) and the meat was tough. There was also too many pieces of fat left in my dish, which obviously means that was what was put in my bowl prior to them cooking it all up. Also, the broccoli had a «dirty»(and further uncooked) taste about it. When I got back to my table, there was an overly large egg roll(zero flavor) and bowl of rice sitting there(rice was dry; not«sticky» at all). Sadly, the most enjoyable part of my lunch was the hot tea. I don’t know if it was extremely good, or I perceived it to be that way only because, subconsciously, I figured it was the only thing that couldn’t get me sick. They brought me the check about a minute after I sat down with my «food». Lunch was only $ 6.48 but you know what? I’d gladly pay more for better food. This marked the first time in my life where I couldn’t bring myself to eat everything on my plate out of disgust; I just couldn’t do it. After eating my fortune cookie, I headed to the bathroom and read my fortune cookie as I walked. «You are headed in the right direction» the fortune read. Ummmmm… Yikes!

Egg rolls are the only thing I liked at this place. Also it said seven fillers for a lil you can eat. Then they also put egg rolls, soup and rice on the table before you get to your table and they charge you extra. Shake my head. I won’t be back to this place

Been coming here for past 20 years. It is the ultimate comfort food as you get what you like, prepare how you like and get it cook how you like for under $ 10 per person. Yes, they raise their prices by a measly dollar, but the quality is there. The secret here is the sauces that you can marinate your food with while you prepare it. I tend to get 2 – 3 scoops of every sauce and oil available and marinade the meat in one bowl and fill the other bowl with vegetables. My masterpiece is finished at my table adding sesame seeds and siracha to the mouth watering goodness of what is called Mongolian BBQ.

The set up is simple, the price is right, the food comes in quantities as large or small as you want them, and the actual meal itself tastes solid. Been coming here for years and 6 $ for a pot of tea, 2 egg rolls, and a large bowl of lamb, bell pepper, tofu, lemon grass, green onion, mushroom, & cilantro infused Mongolian noodles is one of the greatest values I can think of. The décor & service suck, but the food and quick manner in which it is served helps overcome the shortfalls. Come check it out.
