The carousel mall is sadly a desserted wasteland — only a few stores stil exist and those that do are few and far between in quality, service and appeal. I grew up in the area, in town for business meeting, and had some fond memories of the carousel mall. I wandered in wanting to see what still remained of it and was sadly disappointed. I found this clothing store and was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff who were welcoming without being stalkerish. The quality of the clothes isn’t very high but the prices reflect that. I picked up a few tops and sweaters — 3 pieces for less than $ 24.00 (not bad). I wasn’t looking for forever items but for instead for some pieces to update my spring and summer wardrobe. I’d return for staples — inexpensive tops and cover ups. Hopefully they’ll find some other neighbors in the mall to revitalize the area and restore some desirable shopping outlets.
