I have been here a few times with my kids for birthday parties. I will start by saying that the best feature here is the high security for the kids safety. They have you come in and get your hand stamped with the same code on the parents and their kids arms-that way when you leave, they check to make sure you aren’t stealing a kid. Bravo for this. The lower rating is due mostly to the mediocre customer service and the terrible food. I ate at the all-you-can-eat salad bar and it was maybe the worst salad I have ever had. The cottage cheese tasted plastic, the dressing was tasteless, and clearly everything was from a can. Even the fountain drink was watered down. They are lucky to have the video games and the kids love of them to keep them in business.

Im a mother of 4 and I hate this place, I avoid it like the plague. The only reason why we went yesterday, was because my son’s BFF had his party there. First off, there was no parking available, so i had to let my 3 older kids out and drove around to Sprint and parked there. Walked inside with my youngest & it was jam packed — fire marshal probably wouldve shut it down had they seen how over max capacity it was. Took me awhile to find our party because there was maybe 6 other parties going on at the same time. Bday boy’s parents gave us plates/cups for pizza and salad bar. So i went to the salad bar with a regular purple CEC plate, unbeknownst to me — i was suppose to have a black plate. Anywho, as im helping myself to the salad bar, this RUDE ass Asian employee comes to me from the other side of the counter and shouts, «Hey! Youre not suppose to use that plate!» So i tell him, «well im here for a party and this is the plate the parents gave me to use.» Instead of offering me a solution or giving me the option to pay — he repeats what he said before and TRIES, let me say that again, TRIES to snatch the plate outta my hand. Now im not one to cause any problems– yet when you try to snatch ANYTHING outta MYHANDS, im an ADULT — A PARENT @ THAT, dont disrespect me! Apparently this fool’s parents never taught this imbecile any manners. So of course I had to let this foolish employee named KIM know! Gave him a piece of my mind! He said he was one of the Managers, well CEC if youre going to promote individuals to these managerial positions — please make sure theyre up to par on their Customer Service Training, because KIM has NONE. Any person with Manager experience knows how to speak to customers and to always offer a solution to a problem. Kim never did that! Kim instead made a decision for me and tried to take my salad plate away by force. He shouldve said, «Excuse me maam, im sorry but i noticed youre using the wrong plate for the salad bar. This black one i have here is the correct one, but before I give you one I’ll have to ring you up for a salad bar, which is $ 7.99. Would you like me to do that?» You wouldve received a much nicer reaction from me than the one you did. I did end up paying for my own salad bar, because $ 8.71 is chump change to me KIM. I hope you enjoy whatever bonus you get out of snatching plates out of customers hands, I hope more customers complain about you and your unprofessionalism, I hope you disrespect someones kid to the point where the parents knock your ass out. Lol jk No im not. Please believe, we wont be back there ever again, cause 1) your CEC sucks! The only cool person there is Alondra, she was my kids party host 2 weeks ago && yes, we had a great experience then when you werent there. 2) Nobody wants your job, even you! You dont work well under pressure and i can tell you have no kids. 3) Your name is Kim, nuff said. This location get ZERO stars from me because overall the location SUCKS, the venue is way too SMALL& their Manager KIM is incompetent. Go to San Jose or Pinole folks! Worth the drive!

This review is not based on food but on service and management. I watched as 4 teenaged girls, who were encouraged by their mothers, scammed the ticket machines to get more tickets than they actually had. Now this is not what bothered me. What bothered me is that they hogged all the machines doing this while little kids waited and waited and waited. We told the girl at the counter who did absolutely nothing because as it turns out she was friends with them. Then we told the manager and he did nothing. What a shame when people have to scam the Chuck E Cheese!!! And an even bigger shame when Chuck E Cheese allows it!

What can I say, it’s Chuck E. Cheese. Anyone who walks into this place is going to get pretty much what they’d expect. Long lines, food on the floors, crazy kids, frazzled employees, etc. It’s not my favorite place to go but when I bring kids there they’re thrilled.

This has got to be one of the worse chuck e cheeses ever. Took my nephew to this filthy place and they didn’t even have water running in their bathrooms. Instead they put out a bottle of hand sanitizer!!! Really??? Wtf??? Next, half the damn games were broken. Kids banging on the machines, parents banging on them too. Wow what a crappy establishment. Been to the concord location plenty of times and was never disappointed like this janky ass place! DONOTCOMEHERE!!! You will take one foot in and see wtf I’m talking about.

There are a lot of bad reviews for this location and I can’t seem to figure out why. Yes, it’s a Chuck E. Cheese. It’s going to smell like feet, there’s going to be crazy kids screaming and running around, it’s going to be a zoo when you go on the weekend. All of the workers were very friendly. It’s a brave enough job to work at Chuck E. Cheese, the least you can do is shoot them a smile and thank them! We got the deal for $ 23.99. One medium 1 topping pizza with 2 drinks and 30 tokens. I think that’s a great deal! Medium was PLENTY of food for 2 adults and one 2 year old kid. Plus, since it was my little one’s birthday they gave her a few extra tokens. SCORE! Like any other kid she was pretty freaked out by the huge fake characters on stage. No surprise there. At all times there was a worker walking around making sure the machines were all working and if it wasn’t, he would fix it. I thought that was awesome! All of the games were just 1 token. That was great! Overall, this is not somewhere I would choose to go every weekend but seeing the happiness in my daughter’s face, well that was plenty worth the stinky feet smell.

We celebrated our sons 7th birthday party and I have to say how pleased we were with everything. We did it Sunday 11:30am for 15 kids +10 adults. Superhero theme, basic package. There was only one other bday party so was space was very manageable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The kids were consumed with games and it was a little hard to convince them to sit and eat but a visit from Chuck e was pretty amusing. We ordered pizza, sandwhiches, veggies and chicken wings. After reading other reviews. it’s true you have all sorts of folks, some kids with manners and some without but hey, it’s a chain. The afternoons are pretty chaotic so just know what you’re walking into. Our party had a great time.

Place was horrible long wait for management. Make sure to ask how long it will take to make your pizza. So you know what to expect. The salad was also horrible. Make sure to look at it BEFORE ordering else you’ll be just eating the packaged crackers. The last tip is. Eat BEFORE you go there. There’s plenty of places to eat in that area.

They get one star because they have a good salad bar! Other than that it’s discussing there. Where do I began? My boyfriend took are daughter and nephew there. One of the staff members was flirting with my boyfriend! Gave him free salad and drinks! When my nephew and daughter came home they were covered in bug bites. Discusting! Very unclean bathrooms stunk, carpet was stained and smelled horrible, and the tables were dirty. Food on the floor on the tables. Heaven for rats the real chucky cheese might come out at night. Haha! Don’t take ur child here its discusting!

This place isn’t what it use to be back in my day. It’s so dirty and all employees have a bad snobby attitude like they are too good to help us out. First off, you work at chuckie cheese it is your job to provide customer service. Second, if you hate your job, quit! One star cuz we’ll probably be back in the future, my son has fun playing the games

Took my family here, was thankful for the coupons available online. The manager was helpful addressing extra questions I had right after placing my order. The place wasn’t crowded and still took 20 minutes for a packaged cupcake I asked three times for. It’s like right after placing your order your kinda just sitting in limbo. And it’s hard to feel like your food is getting worked on when all the employees are sitting in table booths designated for paying families. One or two persons behind the counter that will turn around and walk away after chatting with the next employee if they feel like your coming up with another request. And the one person up front taking stamps who’s on her phone/currently away as I write this review. I understand that it’s a franchise and unfortunately by my child’s request im sure to come again. But it really needs better management to stay on top of floating employees.

4pm on a Sunday and this place was an absolute madhouse. I don’t recall as many ‘gambling’ machines in my childhood Chuck E Cheese as there were in this one. You know the kind… your kid rolls a token into the slot, and watches it go down the little track and just HOPES it will land in the ferris wheel basket, but it doesn’t. So you watch your little one, glimmers of hope in her eyes, plunk another token into the machine, only to watch it *just* miss the basket, again… She reaches into her coin bucket, plunks another token in, another miss. Three is all you get, kiddo. Sorry. Save your coins for an actual GAME. Also — you will want to bring an attendant with you to the ticket counter machine. It rips you off. Repeatedly, we put a strip of 7 tickets in only to see the counter display 6. We put a strip of 5 tickets in and it counted 4. Over and over again. Unbelievable. But believe it. I think she received a receipt for 68 tokens and was able to get a teeny box of Nerds and a Chinese yo-yo.

I ordered a pizza at this location today which is a Sunday. 2⁄3 of the tables said«Reserved» and had nobody sitting at any of them at 1pm. I did not count but it was at least 20 – 25 empty tables. All of the other tables were filled except two that were very dirty. I sat down at one of the reserved tables as there was nobody around. A young woman then came up to me and said bluntly«These tables are reserved you need to leave» No please in there or anything. I told her they were all full or dirty. She said she would clean one which she did not as she went along cleaning up the floor and ignoring what she had just said. Clearly a low attention span or just did not care. She was quite rude during the whole experience. I went and sat at the least dirty of the dirty tables with my 5 year old daughter. I cleaned it off myself. The gentlemen who delivered the pizza looked like a manger and was. I told him the situation which he proceeded to tell me that they were going to have 8 parties that all started at 1:30. I suggested they should have more tables for non party people or at least clean the ones that were empty. He did not care about this and only wanted to tell me about the parties which I REALLY don’t care about. As someone who has managed a restaurant in the past I would say his management skills were awful. He did not care to listed to me and became upset at my complaint. When I was clearly not being listened to I suggested I would just express my concerns on Unilocal to which he said nothing, shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Awesome customer service buddy. I got his name on the way out. It was Jack. Looking through these reviews I see I’m not the only one who has had a problem with him. Bad experience with staff clearly led by a bad manager. I’m not going back.

I WILLNEVERRECOMMENDTHISPLACE!!! The same rule SHOULD apply to everyone. A good friend of mine had her twins birthday party here, she asked if she can bring outside food for the grown up visitors to enjoy and they said NO!, which was fine until there was another party that was ALLOWED to bring their own food I’m talking about the whole shabang food Lumpia, rice and all. The manager even told the party to just cover it and not to be too obvious for other people to see… What kind of crap is that??? Don’t go here if you don’t want to be disappointed.

For a 4 year old birthday party I was real surprised the final cost. I was completely nickled and dimed. Charged for every little thing. Quite often I had to find someone to help us clean the table. Then at the end, when I tried to pay the full bill, I was told I couldn’t tip on my credit card… only cash. I should have never tipped. Throughout our stay we were really rushed. TOTALLY waste of our money. Extremely disappointed and have already told friends to not have a birthday party there for their children.

Ghetto to the max. The people who bring their kids here let them run wild. They are crawling all over the animatronic robots on stage and not a single parent has said anything to them. Matter of fact I saw a parent put their kids up on the stage and walk away. Little kids are just pushing other kids off a game while they are playing and their parents are just standing there like it is ok. I have been to a few of these Chuck E Cheeses and this is by far the most unruly one. I really don’t blame the place or it’s staff because what are they supposed to do when the parents just don’t care. That’s why I give them 2 stars and not 1, because pretty much everything else is just like any other Chuck E Cheese. All in all I do not recommend this place, go to any other one you can.

I had not been to Chuck E Cheese’s since I was probably 12 years old or so. As I recently became a dad, my wife and I decided to scope out the place and evaluate it’s potential for future visits. We had our 5 month old son with us. I was really impressed with the invisible stamp they give parents and their kids when they arrive. It’s good to have that piece of mind that if you get drunk(they do serve alcohol) you won’t accidentally end up taking someone else’s kid. You order your food at a counter and they deliver it to your table. Although I prefer service at my table, I can see why they did it. A big table with forty kids that are never in the same area for one seconds(there were four of these birthday tables on our visit) would be a challenging order to take. Like taken an order from a lava lamp. Hmmm, that last statement probably only makes sense to me. My wife and I shared a pizza and it was pretty good. Obviously the place isn’t cheap but it’s not like a visit will cost you a fortune. Unless you come with an army of kids for a birthday. There were 4 or 5 hopelessly outdated animatronic figured dancing on a stage. Immagine a T1 Terminator wrapped in cheap felt. Now imagine it more boxy and more scary. I’m still not sure what some of them were made to look like. Every movement they made resulted in one of those aftershock movements. Loved the nostalgia! Although one of the robots is a Chuck E Cheese Mouse, a second Chuck E Cheese Mouse showed up during our visit(someone in a costume). To recap: that’s one robot Chuck E Cheese and one person in a suit Chuck E Cheese. Although the kids didn’t seem to mind the discontinuity bothered me. Also, I wish this place was bigger. Even without any kids this place would be crowded. I want a Dave & Buster’s size Chuck E Cheese.

This place was ok, my girls had a blast so I can’t be mad! Had my eldest daughters bday here today and the staff was helpful but the food kind of took forever to come out. If your hosting a party here be prepared to spend an arm and a leg for the adults’ mediocre at best food. The kids enjoyed their pizza and drinks and they had fun when the party hosts came out to sing and stuff. My girls loved the games and the new fruit ninja one even though it was really skimpy with tickets. And don’t worry of you suck at the games you can buy prizes at the end LOL. Parking is good but come early cuz it Gets crazy packed later in the day!

HOLYCRAP!!! lets start there haha First of all, i haven’t been to this location in years especially since i moved out of the Peninsula area. I babysat my niece for a few couple of hours on Sunday, wanted to take her to the east bay Children’s Fairyland but of course traffic problems messed up my plans. Me & my fiancé decided to take her to Chuck E Cheese. My first thoughts of walking in past the greeter was … wow this place is small, cramped and crazy. We started off with purchasing coins. That didn’t take long. Gave some coins to my fiancé and took her to the smaller play area. My niece was in the jungle play area, of course i am standing by making sure she is okay. way too many hyper kids around and of course someone trips her 00 … just as my rage was building up and the only words that came out at that moment«what the hell»… this lady rushed past me to yell at her son for tripping my niece! THANKGOODNESS!!! Some parents just forget they have kids and let their kids run a muck! So glad she beat me to it. Most of their ticket eater counter machine’s were out of service. Their chuck e ride pic was out of service well the picture part was. Then the picture sketcher was out of paper as well. Sucks i wanted a pic with my niece, By the time they fixed the sketcher booth. Us 3 were over it. My fiancé won over 500 tickets so that was nice, she got to go home with some little prizes. :)
