Absolutely fantastic service from these guys. Super responsive, super friendly and fast service. A little story about how great they are; there was some mixup on the repairs that were to be done to my car and it needed to stay an extra day. The owner, Gil, was so apologetic and pretty much made me take his personal car so I could get to work that day as I had taken CalTrain to his shop. On top of that, he even gave me a small discount for my inconvenience. Now that’s service!

Another great experience with G&M! Someone side swiped my truck last week and broke the mirror. They got me in right away and ordered me a new one. They were nice enough to tape a temporary one on for me until the new one came.
I have used them several times and every time they are quick and the work is very well done.
I will continue to use G&M for my truck now and any future vehicles I will have.

Gil and Vince are outstanding, efficient, professional, friendly, and fun to visit with. Not only did they take my car in on the same day I was scheduled for an estimate for AAA, they also gave me a great price on some damage that I wanted to pay for myself. [I was attacked by a metal post at a gas station.] I was so impressed that I had them do both repairs. I had been to three other auto body shops and their repair estimate was much higher. I highly recommend G & M Auto Body.

I’ve known Mark for over 30 years. You won’t find a more professional, knowledgeable and fairly price auto body shop than G&M Auto body. Period. Did I forget to mention the best auto body work ever! I refer them to family and friends who are also always completely satisfied with the work and price. I brought my Dodge Quad Cab that the clear was eroding on that many Dodges have, they made my truck look brand spanking new at a price that beat two other estimates.

You would never know that my Highlander got fully sideswiped (while parked in front), with the front bumper smashed and knocked off, first thing in the morning by a distracted parent hastily parking to deliver his kids to school. Aaaacck! Manager Mark kept me calm and helped me to better manage my AAA coverage and the Hertz loaner car. He patiently answered my many (dumb) questions, gave me so much useful info, kept up my frustrated spirits with his great sense of humor, and handed me back a gleaming, beautifully fixed car. If only he did plastic surgery, I would surely go to him one day for that! I chose this shop over another local one which simply didn’t compare, to say the least, especially in their solicitous phone conduct and their desperation to get my biz by calling me back and bad-​mouthing G&M! In contrast, I felt no pressure from G&M, and they were elegantly professional through the whole process. Their brief follow-​up was also appreciated. The car looks spanking new where they fixed it! (Tip: While you’re there, walk one block east on San Bruno and pick up some snacks at the India market on San Bruno, if you’re hungry!) Thanks, Mark and G&M!

There should be ten stars for the service and quality of work at G & M Auto Body instead of just five. Both Gil and Mark were both compassionate and professional to my situation. They kept me informed from beginning to end on the progress of my car.

I have gone to them 3 times over the past year to fix a broken window and some dents on the backseat passenger side (getting out of teeny tiny garage spots in SF). Highly recommend!

They were great. Got rear ended and the headrests on my Genesis deployed. They fixed bumper and reset headrests and the car is new again. Also their price was significantly less than where my insurance company sent me.

From beginning to end, the staff at G & M was marvelous and professional. Having had my car ‘keyed’, I was distressed, to the point of tears. Gil was a gentleman. He handled everything with care and very little effort on my part. They helped me with the car rental as well. The experience was flawless. I recommend G & M without reservation. Thank you very much for making an unpleasant situation a pleasant one.

AAA recommended this body shop to me. Really close to where I Live, so I went and had My Jeep worked on here.
I had a piece of steel go thru the front pumper, which I hit on the freeway. They replaced the bumper, and did a really nice job with the paint. They also cleaned and detailed my Jeep. Really nice job!

Unfortunately for me, I’ve used G&M several times for a couple of my cars (Lexus RX and BMW 530) for body work. Each time they come out with the best pricing and great results. Gil is very personable and up front with the pricing and probable outcomes. They finish when they say they will. The only negative is that they have forgotten to put the spare tire/​pieces in the trunk back together — twice.

G&M Auto Body to me is a blessing. I work at SFO and found this repair shop by referral. Have not regret it ever since. I had them to work on three separate occasions. Twice on the 2008 Honda Accord and once on my 1994 Isuzu Trooper.
Never had I ever been disappointed with Mark and Gil’s services. The shop is very clean and orderly. Very professional service and qork performed beyond my expectation. I highly recommend this place for any size of auto body repair.

Had taken all our vehicles to them until NOW!!! Gil the owner does not stand behind their shoddy workmanship. They do not guarantee the work nor back up the vendors that they buy parts from. Inferior parts were put in and did not live up to their expectations. You would think after all these years he wouldn’t let a measly $ 269 get in the way of losing a very good customer. Run don’t walk to another auto body shop. Car is never ready when promised!!!

They have repaired my 2003 350z and 2009 Prius, the quality of the work is excellent! Actually when the bumper was painted on my Z it looked better them when I bought the car brand new! Also they fixed my Prius when another shop screwed it up.
The guys who work in the shop have been there for years & years and really know their profession.

My bumper was hit in a shopping mall parking lot three months ago, and I was putting off dealing with the hassle of getting it repaired. A friend told me about G & M Auto Body, and I decided to bite the bullet and get it fixed. I dropped off my Acura MDX, fully intending on washing it beforehand (it was really dirty!). The shop was conveniently located off of the 101 in San Mateo, and the office was clean and inviting. G & M took care of everything for me. From dealing with the insurance company — to bringing my car back to better than original condition. They even cleaned my car better than the neighborhood car wash would have! What was especially appreciated were the little touches — like fixing some body trim that was coming loose, and pointing out that I should have my brakes looked at. For someone that didn’t want to deal with the «hassle» of having her car fixed, I’m thrilled I found G&M Auto Body.
