Dr. Chaychi has helped me get my diabetes in control after several years of it being out of control. Her methods are simple and straight forward. No fancy business here. She’s very detailed, organized and most of all straight forward with her answers. No sugar coating from her. As for her staff, the ladies are very accommodating with scheduling my appointments. She has 2 locations, one at Daly City and the other is at San Carlos. I like the San Carlos location, not too much traffic. Dr. Chaychi is good at her job and she knows what she’s talking about.

Note this is my second time writing this post. I’ll start from the beginning :) since apparently according to Unilocal my post wasn’t detailed enough. After looking up endocrinologist I found Dr. Chaychi and decided I would call to book an appointment. The appointment the receptionist booked for me was 2 weeks out. The receptionist also informed me that I should get medical records sent over before my appointment. I did everything as told by this receptionist, went to my primary doctor signed a waiver and had them fax it over. The day of my appointment arrives and I show up and sign in. After sitting there for about ten minutes they ask me when my appointment was. I said about ten minutes ago. They informed me that I was not on the schedule and called the other office to see if I was on that locations schedule. They couldn’t find my appointment and said I must have not booked an appointment. I explained that I did and was given their fax number by the receptionist for the medical records. They were able to pull up my medical records but said the doctor was booked and couldn’t see me. At this point I was frustrated for many reasons. One I took the day off work and wasted my time getting medical records faxed to them. Two all three of the receptionist didn’t know who to blame for their mistake and tried to blame me for their error. They weren’t professional about it and couldn’t accommodate to fit me in until another 2 weeks out. Now fast forward… 30 days after leaving my review I get a Unilocal message by either Dr. Chaychi or the person who handles their Unilocal account. The person wanted to know the details of my experience. I shared it with them and was surprised I heard from them. I also do a second thought great at least they care enough to try to get this fixed so that it doesn’t happen to someone else. The next day I get another message where they are trying to blame their error on my primary doctor who I had asked to fax over my medical records. They said that my primary doctor was the one who messed up and never booked an appointment for me. Well again this person was incorrect because I was the one who personally called Dr. Chaychi’s office to book the appointment. My doctor had nothing to do with any of it and should have not been contacted. The person also asked me to remove my post at which point I said I would not remove it as this was my experience at her location. I wish this Dr and her staff would take ownership of their error instead of trying to find someone to blame. Today I was notified that my post would be removed because it did not follow Unilocal standards. I have added much more detail and hope that Unilocal won’t remove this again. Due to the experience and responses I received from Dr. Chaychi I would not recommend this location.

She is a new doctor with little experience. However, I still decided to give her a chance since I always try new people and products at least once. My experience with Leila has been unpleasant. A few instances, 1. She ignored my lab test results for weeks although the results showed severe problems that required immediate attention. 2. She claimed that my treatment failed and she was proven wrong 3. She overdosed me despite that my lab results suggested lower dosage, causing severe hair loss and brain fogs 4. She refused to switch me to another brand of the thyroid medicine given the obvious side effects caused by the current medicine. I know some people had decent experience with other endocrinologists in the same office. I don’t recommend taking the risk with her.
