It’s a storage company, so you can’t say too much about it. But I had a problem with my access code, apparently due to some random computer glitch, and the manager, Chris, took care of the problem right away. My only complaint is that the inside of storage units do get quite dusty, but I guess that would happen anywhere.

Chris and his management at this Public Storage facility were extremely helpful in the process of my moving out of the area and vacating my storage unit.
I’d lost the key in my move south, so, prior to my arrival in San Carlos, I was able to fax Chris and the district manager authorization to cut the lock, replace it with a new one, and have the new key waiting for me in the office when I arrived.
Everything went incredibly smoothly and my belongings were secure. Thanks very much, Chris. Greatly appreciated!

Have had a storage unit for many years now. The place is always kept clean. The manager, Chris is great to work with. They have long open hours which is what I need.

Chris was super helpful in getting me set up with my storage units, and in checking me out after I moved out. He made it fast, easy and pleasant. The units themselves were clean and easy to access. All in all a good storage experience.
Why only 4 stars? My only gripe is with Public Storage and their sketchy marketing offers. There’s a big sign out front that says $ 1 for the first month of storage. Woohoo! Great deal! … actually BS! Chris had to inform me that the offer actually isn’t available at this facility. Ethical business practice would be to only put the sign up at facilities that have the offer.

Moving is stressful at it’s best. Working with Stephanie has made it a little less stressful. It is wonderful to have someone who has worked with moving and storage, help plan for the move and give an idea of how many, of what size, boxes you will need. I met her when a friend of mine moved a few months ago and now drive past other moving and storage facilities to go see her at either the Shoreway Road or O’nell Avenue stores. I am still in the process of moving, but I don’t worry about the packing since I’ve got my own ‘personal’ moving planner!

Good place. Stored my stuff there for 9 months while traveling. Facility is clean, looks safe. Chris was helpful getting setup and checked out. Would definitely return there in the future.

Super convenient location located right off the 101 between holly & ralston exits. The cost of these units is a great deal cheaper than the comparable public storage units just south of here. The property manager Chris is a great honest hard working person.

Sometimes life gets busy; and things sneak up on you. Our move was one if those «things» I was able to rent a storage unit, and get a great price all in the same day. The storage area is clean and feels safe. The door to the unit could use a bit of grease as it’s slightly hard to open/​close.
Four stars to Chris; who saved me time and money when he stayed late to keep the office open when I hit traffic. I can’t say thank you enough.

We stored our stuff here for a month between moves. The property was well maintained, and the unit they gave us was clean. My email inquiry was responded to very quickly, and all the staff that we came in contact with we’re knowledgable and professional. It’s a very convenient location and we loved being able to drive right up to the unit.
The only thing I didn’t like was having to get out of my car to put in the security code. But that’s pretty minor.

I used this facility to store my belongings for three months while I was abroad. The storage unit itself is clean and the grounds seem secure. Chris was very nice and helpful with the entire process from leasing the unit to termination. Best part is that the facility is that its drive-​in, versus other facilities I have been to which are buildings, so you can just drive in, load and unload. Overall, I was happy with this storage facility.

The service staff were nice enough, but I found the facilities to be in pretty bad shape. No video surveillance, and security was poor. (One unit they showed me had a door made of particle board; another had a thin metal sheet door, but even when locked I could have pulled it open with one strong pull.) I’d recommend Extra Storage, just 1⁄3 mile away, which has much better facilities.

This is a great public storage facility. The grounds appear secure and are impeccably maintained. The manager, Chris, is super friendly and efficient. You can tell he really cares and thinks about his job. He will explain everything clearly, tour the grounds, etc. Whatever you need.
I feel very confident the contents of my house will be safe while here.
