I called in to order Specialty & Wings for 25.99, guy tells me its for online orders only. Ok fine. I go online and order. It doesnt allow me to do half n half on the pizza. I call back and let the guy know. He said, u have to order a full pizza with same toppings. WTF??? Ok then can u take my order. NO… Wonderful service, I love to come back. Minimum wage workers makes the world go round.

They suck. I go online, put in my address and they default to the San Carlos store. They are the closest to me! Anyways I order and note I’ve order before but under a different number and have had it delivered. Anyways I get a call saying they won’t deliver and to go to another store! I explain that I have ordered before and the system defaults to them. She told me to pick it up then! I have guest and have been drinking. So I told them they lost my business. Ordered from Mt. Mikes which is farther away, and gave that guy a fat tip!

Well that sucked. How can you mess up a delicious Round Table pizza? Well, call San Carlos RT, they can surely tell you how! First let me say I live two blocks from the RWCRT, but the San Carlos RT used to be on point! Tons of toppings, like 4 times what RWC would put on, so we would make the drive to SC. My order– Large Sweet Pepper Pizza w/extra zesty sauce and extra cheese. What I received– no extra cheese which I paid for! And the sauce! The sauce! They put the wrong sauce on! This weird chunky sauce… I hate chunky sauce. Like I’ll spit out the chunks,(classy as always). And there was no «extra» about that either. Then the topper was my issue with the actual topper! Fresh basil– um… this basil was anything but fresh. Wilted, purple and looked like it might have been fresh yesterday. I choked down one piece and the guy ate a couple more, but kept commenting how it wasn’t good. No thank you– back to Redwood City we go!

We come here often but the last 2 times we have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Victor and his crew! Victor has got to be the rudest person I have ever in my life dealt with! The pizza is nothing that great that u should have to deal with the likes of Victor not to mention good luck if you don’t speak Spanish because him and his crew will Talk about you in Spanish little did him and his side kick the little chic behind the counter know that we understood every word. We live in San Carlos but moving forward will make the drive to Redwood City if we decide we want round table

This place is a joke. I guess you can’t expect much from the place. The employees look miserable. I ordered online — they didn’t have the order even though I had a confirmation email. Then when I was ordering, the guy rolled his eyes when I said I wanted cheese. Well in my online order I asked for extra cheese so I was talking through my order. Still, don’t roll your eyes at a customer dude. That’s why I didn’t tip you. I’m sure he’ll know who I am if they read this. Then he calls me up to get my pizza and tells me to check it. Why didn’t you check it? I checked it. It was wrong. He then told me they didn’t do my order right. I said, really?! Cancel everything then because I was there for almost 30 min already. I started to ask how do you not have my order. We just placed it. So as were canceling it, the girl in the back goes oh you don’t want it anymore? I said no I don’t want to wait any longer. And she hands me the pizza. Oh and my debit card which is well funded somehow declined. I threw the pizza out because I was worried it was compromised, if you catch my drift. From what I’ve read, the manager here likely won’t care about this bad review. I would assume that you have to deal with this kind of stuff with a job that pays min. Wage. Update– just used my card for $ 100 at cvs yet my $ 20 purchased was declined?

When you order a pizza and the wrong size comes, calling the manager shouldn’t be a big issue, right? They say sorry, we’ll deduct the extra you paid, and you’re on your way, right? Not here! The manager accused us of lying about what happened on the phone, did not apologize once, and the only solution offered was that they’d take back our large and we’d wait another 45 minutes for a small, without any mention of refunding the extra we paid. They refused to take ownership of the mistake they made and would not admit they did anything wrong. They had also forgot the three cups of ranch I had asked three times for and said it was my fault since it wasn’t on their screen and then when we asked for a refund, he HUNGUPTHEPHONEONUS. THREETIMES. We had no acknowledgement of any error. No offer for a refund. Literally nothing a manager is supposed to do was done. So imbecilic and immature, if a person like this can get promoted to manager, imagine the guys making the pizza. I will never eat at this round table again, and I suggest you don’t either.

Not sure what all the poor reviews are about. I have ordered here 3 times, twice for take out and once for delivery. Every time my pizza has come out just the way I like it. Tastes just like every other round table I’ve every been to.

I’ve come to this location three or four times for lunch time. The food seems good and the cashier is friendly enough. My one complaint is that fact that every time I’ve come here there is a homeless person sleeping in the front booth. This person will either roll their cart in and park it next to their booth or leave it outside covered with a bright green tarp. I have nothing against homeless people; everyone needs kindness and compassion. However, it’s rather unfortunate to see this on each visit. I won’t go back.

Has to be the worst service I have ever had. Tried to order one pizza and had to give my number four times, my address three times and my credit card number a few times as well. I have ordered many pizzas from this location because I like the way round table taste, for some reason I am never in their database, and they can never understand me. The delivery drivers are very nice. In my opinion I don’t think they should train their employees how to answer the phone.

Once the Woodside location start downward spiraling for me, this has become my go to honest pizza place. They follow my special instructions which usually are not hard, just want mine well done/extra crispy. All other locations somehow become baffled by this. Anyway, good service, prompt so far and yes they do charge for delivery –$ 2.50. Keep an eye out for those mail coupon bundles. Yeah, some of us still open them before tossing them all in recycling

I use Unilocal often however I’ve never written a review and unfortunately it took for a horrible experience to get me to do so. I’ve always loved Round Table, it’s often my go to pizza wherever I may be. I went into the San Carlos store on New Years Day to pick up an all meat pie, stood in line behind 4 people and noticed something that will keep me from ever stepping foot in this store again… The girl in back was eating a piece of pizza while cutting & boxing pizzas for customers. She took bites while standing over a pie, held the piece of pizza in her mouth while she cut and boxed the pizza. I saw her lick her fingers, then grab a «clean» pan & start to prepare another pizza to be cooked. I asked the guy(Victor) at the register if I could speak with the Manager, he said, «I am the Manager». I told him what I saw and he said his employees do not do that. I told him to turn around, where she was eating yet another piece of pizza near the food prep area and he said, «That’s wrong and he’ll remind her no to do that»… REMIND her, really??? I told him I’ll never be back and I won’t. I left my pie, called Blue Line on Laurel, paid $ 10 more however it’s great pizza, the place is clean and service is good. BTW, I started to research my next go to Round Table in the area but found out that 5 of them in San Mateo County are listed as having recent health violations. Sad day but I’m DONE with Round Table…

Ordered pizza, garlic bread, and cinnamon twist for pick up 2 weeks ago. The girl said 20 mins for pick up or an hour for delivery. When we got there pick up wasn’t ready still over an hour. They comped the cinnamon twist for the wait. When I got home the cinnamon twist were plain no cinnamon or sugar or frosting. When I called she instead of apologizing or acknowledging she said well you got them for free. I freaking flipped and hung up. That’s the reason they were not prepared correctly because I got them for free? My guest and I ended up dipping them into sugar ourselves smh

Obviously I haven’t had the same experience as others here because I like this place and I’ve been here more then a few times to order pizza. This place is small, no buffet, no entertainment of any kind but if you want your pizza done right an great customer service this place has always done it right for me. I really most of the time wanna get my pizza to go an this location is perfect for just picking up your pizza an jamming out. Its on el camino an close to where I stay so its perfect. These guys get real serious about there customer service. I dig it, I like my pizza done right cuz pizza is one of my true loves in this world. I swear I could eat it everyday. I used to work for round table at a different location an I never got tired of the pizza. It always tastes great to me.

Poor customer service. I was on hold nearly 8 minutes just to order a pizza. Had another family member call about 6 minutes into my hold. My family member’s call was promptly picked up and was not placed on hold. Her order was taken immediately. I was still on hold. When my call was finally fielded I explained to the man that I was on hold for nearly 8 minutes. Instead of an apology all he said, in a monotone, was«uh huh.» So rude. Needless to say I hung up. If they can’t respect my time they’re not worthy of my business.

The pizza anywhere else pretty much sucks… this is the only pizza place where they’re pizza is truly amazing. I never have any problems, it’s so easy go online pick your pizza & anything else you want pick it up or have it delivered. I don’t bother going anywhere else this is the best!

Just had the worst customer service experience, horrible. Food took over an hour(one pizza) ended up being cold, the call rep fumbled through the original order and initial inquiry, then the manager didn’t care about the customer needs once transferred, lied on the phone about the situation and could care less if he kept my business or not. Look I have had good service in the past but this experience has made it my last. Note to owner, coach & train your staff on how to resolve service problems… It’s simple, listen, apologize for any confusion, tell the truth about the situation and ask what can I do to keep your future business. May help keep this place around. Oh yeah tell people you charge for delivery!!!

There is a REASON this is the lowest rated Round Table in the area. The staff is incompetent and borderline rude. Called to check on my delivery order: 1st time — Placed on hold multiple times and eventually hung up on. 2nd time — When my order was actually late, I called again to ask about the status. Staff’s response was«Our delivery driver is on his way, because I don’t see him here.» Seriously? When I finally get the pizza almost 30 min late, the delivery driver was a woman. So either the staff wasn’t aware who was delivering(incompetent) or they flat out lied(rude) just to get me off the phone, perhaps their standard response when someone calls asking about a late delivery… which I imagine happens frequently enough that they would need a ‘standard’ response.

Went to Round Table about 1 on a Monday afternoon to take advantage of their Buffet. When I walked in there wasnt a single person in the entire building! The guy proceeded to finally see me, walk up and took my order. I got the buffet with a soda for about $ 9.70. The pizza was okay, nothing special, but what was annoying was that there were three pies sitting out all of which were cold. Looks like no heat lamps. I will be honest im not much of a salad guy(no nutritional value in lettuce), but I was forced to chow down and wait for pizza. Not bad overall on the food, but I wish it was better. If you want something cheap, and a lot of food, it will be perfect, just dont expect really good.
