Guitar with Josh

Josh is GREAT! Very encouraging and easy to learn from. He is well prepared for each lesson and tailors them to the student.

We are so happy with our music teachers! We were referred by friends of ours through sports! I feel like we found a hidden gem in San Clemente. If you want your child to play music these are your people. We feel blessed to have found them! Thank you Josh and Liz !! You are the best!

We were so thrilled to see how Josh taught our college age son with no musical experience. In just one short summer, Josh made him proficient on the ukulele as well as beginning guitar. We had given him a uke awhile ago and he could not wrap his head around how to play it and had given up.
Josh is so patient and encouraging, our son was so motivated to improve each week. Best gift we gave our son this summer, he is headed back to college to serenade his girlfriend! highly recommend

We are so happy we found Josh. My eight year old son all of a sudden had a desire to learn how to play guitar. He tried You Tube without much luck. After just one lesson with Josh, he gained confidence and actually played real music! Josh is very patient and encouraging and my son looks forward to his lessons each week.

Josh is an amazing instructor! Josh is super nice with a lot of patience and extremely knowledgeable about a variety of music. Not only does my son take guitar lessons with him but our 8 year old daughter has just started ukulele lessons as well. They look forward to their lessons each week!

Josh is the BEST! After my daughter’s first lesson, she stated, «That was the best thing EVER, Mom!» Josh is positive and fun in his teaching style. He has built confidence in my daughter, with her performing three songs on stage (big deal for us) only 2 months of taking lessons, with one song that she sang to. I almost fell out of my chair.
Josh really goes above and beyond for my daughter. When we decided to purchase a guitar, he offered to come with us to choose the perfect one. He is kind-​hearted, flexible and makes my daughter beam with excitement and pride as a result of his lessons. What makes him special is not just what he teaches, but how he makes his students feel.
Bonus: He allows the kids to choose the type of music they want to play! My daughter is playing the pop song Roar by Katy Perry. She loves bringing new songs to Josh and he miraculously figures out how to she can play them.
