The employee Dakota is so nice and friendly here and does a quick service and makes my toxin flush juice deliciously

Had to give this place 2 stars because of the service, I walked in and was literally the only person, ordered a bowl and waited 10 minutes for them to make it I know that’s not a long wait but I’ve got faster service at the slam packed one in mission viejo, not to mention no one greeted me here, and the person who took my order was off putting and made it seem like I was an inconvenience

Everything SMELLED really good but I never actually got to try the actual thing because the employees were talking in the back and ignored me completely. I walked out after 10 minutes.

We came in on Easter and the girl behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge us and had an attitude. Made us feel like we were burdening her. Wouldn’t recommend.

Customer Service should be always be an number one priority. It really doesn’t matter how great a product is, which I enjoy the juices and smoothies here. I went in the other day and was NOT greeted by the snooty girl behind the register. She had these cat eye glasses on and acted like it should be my pleasure to be sharing space with her. I purchased a pre-​made drink from the cooler and right about when I was getting my Credit Card slip, the cashier with the bad attitude started to turn on the charm. For a second, I was confused, but then I realized that she was trying to work me for a tip… for ringing me up for a pre-​made drink… after she had been incredibly dismissive and short with me when i was asking her a question about the store. I, of course, did not leave a tip. After I left, I had this strange feeling that she gave herself a tip and when I checked my pending charges, she had indeed given herself an extra $ 1.20 tip!
As you can imagine, this is bad enough. It’s called stealing. But, then I called immediately, left a message with a different girl about my issue. She promised me a manager would call…6 hours later, no call, so I called back. I talked to a different gentleman, who assured me that a manager would call…2 weeks later, no call back. They clearly corrected the charge before they closed the till at the end of the day, but when your employee blatantly steals and treats a customer so poorly, a manager should call immediately and smooth out the situation. I emailed corporate office… over a week later… no response.
This is most definitely NOT about the amount of money, but the amount of lack of concern and sheer rudeness on every person involved in this company. So disappointing.

The gentleman who took my order on 03.08.16 at 6:15p was knowledgeable, welcoming and super patient. I drive 1.5 hrs to visit an amazing acupuncturist down the street and decided to stop for a heathy my treat before my drive back home to San Diego. NéktEr juice bar will definitely be a regular stop when I’m in the area! My Sublime was exactly what I needed. Perfect blend and just the right sweetness!

Yesterday I got a Health Nut smoothie and it was so good I literally could not stop drinking it until it was gone. I finished it under 5 min. Today I went back for the same thing and it just wasn’t the same – too watery and no flavor (definitely needed more almost butter or something — it seemed like one whole ingredient was left out). Quality-​control needed here!

I love Nectar, but this plan has recently started really cutting back on their portions. Considering the bowls are not that big to begin with I expect it to be filled to the top. Still make quality bowls and juices, but other locations will give you more bang for your buck!

They had a problem with a power outage in the entire complex. The staff was extremely accommodating and patient with even the not-​so-​nice customers. Amazing customer service and my PB bowl was delicious, as always!

I’ve read other neg reviews but honestly i can only write what i’ve witnessed for myself. when i fist started coming here the workers were not very friendly and then all of a sudden they were. Most likely some proper coaching and training from management. which is good.
I’ve tried everything on their menu, and everything was pretty good. not fantastic but good. One thing though regarding their smoothies, sometimes a little inconsistent. sometimes it’s really sweet, sometimes alittle bland, sometimes really thick and others alittle watery. Most likely due to college kids working here with high turn over rates and difficulty in training consistency. would have given this place 3 stars for their food items but because their staff is nice friendly and they seem to be trying…4 stars.

I am most likely in here about 3 times a week and every time the staff are very friendly and seem to love the business. Yes sometimes it can take a little while to get your order but it is delicious. I hated the taste at first but seem to love it now!!!

I wrote a review on my negative experience when they first opened, hoping this business would improve. They haven’t. After several more visits, it seems they are unable to hire capable staff who can get their act together. Numerous errors and delays, cause an unacceptable delay in what is already a long wait for them to prepare the drinks from scratch. The lines of people waiting exacerbate the problem.
They also seem to run many specials and discounts but are unable to deal with the layer of complexity that entails. Twice they told me they no longer would honor an offer they had out there. And then when you do present on they can honor, their register won’t properly input it to come up with the correct price. Instead of just crediting the difference, they actually expect you to pay the erroneously higher amount the register is showing, even though your discount promotion showed a lower price. Breathtaking! Who ARE these people? Finally a manager is called to fix it, while those in line become increasingly annoyed. They rarely have enough order takers, causing lines.
The juice is very fresh – their main point. But I’ve had a number of items that were highly acidic. It seems like a good concept that just hasn’t come together yet. The high price coupled with awful service doesn’t make one look kindly on return visits. I’ve heard other Nekter stores aren’t like this.
They participated in a health fair at the fitness center next store where they had a booth. They told everyone who was a member of the gym that we would automatically get 10% every time we purchased. It seemed like a very smart move, given the proximity. Only a few months later, the informed everyone they were no longer doing that. Nothing like negative PR. The owner of this franchise needs to take a beginners course in business.

I can’t figure out why the employees are so slow here, I never have this problem at other Nekter locations. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for a juice. 2 stars because they actually make the juice correctly.

The first few times I ate here when it first opened the acai bowls were pretty consistent. The last few times they’ve been runny and today it was like having soup. Honestly, there is nothing I hate more than inconsistent food. I know it’s difficult for a restaurant to hit the mark every time, but lately they’ve just been so off. Furthermore, I didn’t get the coconut flakes as I requested (and paid extra for). I don’t think I will be back.

I love this place! It is super expensive but I feel like all juice places are. The Acaii bowls are delicious, even though they’re around $ 8! Still worth it when you’re eating healthy. They have a good selection of fresh juices and healthy snacks as well. This place is rarely busy which is nice. It’s located by Styles for Less and Rubios where the old Cold Stone used to be.

I recently moved to this area and I’m so glad there is a Nekter less than a mile from me. I’ve been to Nekters all over OC so I know what my favorite drinks are supposed to taste like. I’m happy to report that the quality here is consistent. Also I love that there is never a line when I come in. I’m just greeted by happy and friendly employees and my drink is made immediately. I am also a huge fan of their grab and go drinks, great to store in my fridge when I’m in the mood for Nekter but don’t wanna make the drive out.
If it’s your first time here, I recommend the popeye’s acai and the date nut smoothie. I’ve also had their acai bowls and they’re delicious.

I really enjoy the products here. I don’t like the decoration veggies. It make me think im gonna drink GMO. The bathroom is clean. The trash can by the serving area was full. The store however was clean. Service was fast friendly. I really wish they served there Acai bowls with honey. Nice place.

:Important point: when I don’t see a nekter I usually go and get my juice at mothers market; you can call it in but Mother’s Market recently raised their prices to $ 6.50 for 16 ounces — — compared to $ 4.95 at Nekter… that’s more than they charge for 24 ounces.
The quality of the juice is great!
It tastes fresh & fantastic and they have the most choices of any juice bar I’ve been to.
I recommend the greenie. I usually add beets to that and ice.
Highly recommend —and I buy juice at least 4 times per week for past 2 years at different locations.

Nectar juice bar has a good selection of fresh-​pressed juices, smoothies, and açai bowls. Got the «pb bowl» (all menu items are spelled lowercase a la e.e. cummings), which is the peanut butter açai bowl. Was expecting something pretty heavy, like a peanut butter shake, but what I got tasted light and healthy. Definitely had peanut butter flavor, but it was an accent rather than the only thing you tasted. I’m going to be back to try more. Prices seem a tad high, but I guess if you’re using fresh real ingredients you’ve got to pay the price.
