Great mini outlet for beach wear. On the way home from my bf’s family christmas travel, we stopped by Rip curl outlet to grab a few board shorts and Tee’s for him and a tank and vans shoes for me. That day they were having a buy 1 get 150% off. Board shorts for men and walking shorts ranges from $ 20 – 40 which is a great deal since many board shorts run from $ 50 – 60 retail prices. Women’s clothes were going from $ 10 – 50, there were many bikini on sales anything beach related you can find there. I recommend coming here to save on beach wear or the go to spot to grab must needed items before a beach vacation to save money.

I stopped in to by a broad brimmed beach hat. The young woman at the counter, Gezelle, told me that they had discontinued them and referred me to the Hobie store a couple miles away. At the Hobie store the woman there didn’t have any either but called around to local surf shops and was only able to locate some at the rip curl shop. She described them and Gezelle said they had a wide selection and multiple colors. She said she would have them waiting On the counter for me when I got there. I drove back to rip curl and she pointed me to the corner o the upstairs to some completely different hats and said that was all they had. Hire adults that care about customer service. She was a total waste of time.

This review is on ding surfboard repair. The store itself is fine. I brought a new hypto crypto in there. I dinged it a few months in on the bottom. It took them a week to fix it. When I got it back they had used poly to fix the ding instead of epoxy like they should. Also it looked like they did an amateur mix of sun curing because the area was a noticeable yellow. They also charged me a high price of 42. I was suprised that they would try to pon of this repair on me, knowing that this board is one of the most expensive out there. Do not bring a board there for repair!

Of the 2 trips I’ve made to the Rip Curl Outlet I haven’t been able to find a wet suit in my size. I had to drive up the street to the RC store for that. The clearance section had AWESOME swimsuit bottoms during my last visit. I ended up getting 2 bottoms and a pair of shorts for around $ 20. I was thrilled!

Excellent experience! The customer service was quick and super informative. I purchased a 4⁄3 Rip Curl wet-suit and some new booties for a total of less than $ 300.00 and it was one of the newer models of wet-suits with a front collar zip. Great price for great products and they have a huge selection. The staff that helped was very knowledgeable and dedicated to their craft. I will definitely return here for any of my surfing needs. Additionally, the location is epic — they’re right across the highway from some of the best surf spots on the planet — Trestles & San Onofre.

Love this place. Every time I go to San Clemente, I will stop by. This place is must stop by place for our family. I got my wet suits and summer clothes so cheap!

It’s kool to stop into a shop that has this much inventory… Fun to browse. It’s a little pricey.

The prices are pretty darn good, I managed to pick up a wet suit jacket for me and my son for $ 50 and $ 20 respectively. You can barely buy a decent rash guard for that money in a regular store. The help is effective but scarce.

This place is an absolute MUSTSTOP if you’re anywhere in SoCal! Trust me on this! It’s a hidden gem in San Clemente that not too many people know about otherwise it’d be packed every day! I walked out with armloads of clothing & hats for waaaay under a hundred bucks! Buy one, get one FREE was the name of the game!

I’m surprised there are not more reviews. I’ve been here about 8 times. Its an easy stop on the way between LA and SD. Avoid the clearance sales, which are pretty much off the hook price wise; unfortunately, for this discount, you will be in a club sized building with as many people as a New Years night in the gaslamp, but there will be no beer. You will wait an hour in line, for fitting rooms and for the register, but you will be paying 30c on the dollar. Regular days there will be 6 people in the store with ½ of them being employees. Good Tunes, good vibe, good prices. There are a slim amount of men’s shorts around 29 bucks, board shorts19 bucks, t-shirts, hoodies, flip flops. This past trip I got a pair of flojo style sandals, a pair of cargo shorts, 2 pair of board shorts, and this was 60 bucks. Worth the trip.

For those not looking for a wetsuit, this place is just ok. If you’re going to look for rip curl clothes for cheap, this isn’t really a great place for that. It’s got some clothes but I wasn’t impressed at all. Oh well.

It’s worth the drive! I buy all of my wetsuits here. They have THEBEST deals… I got a full suit for $ 60 and 2 sleeveless suits for $ 20 each. AMAZING! Their clothing/swimsuits aren’t discounted as much, but you can still find stuff much cheaper than than at the regular Rip Curl store down the street!

A good stop for affordable surf clothes and gear. I went this week for a bike rack, which they didn’t have, but the staff was happy to point me in the right direction. Of course, I took a browse through the store… and found great stuff at great prices. I was able to pick up hoodies under $ 20 for holiday gifts and they had a great selection of sandals, tees and swim. Next time my husband needs a wetsuit I am going to stop by… they seemed to have quite a few and the prices were great.

There are some great deals to be had here if you have good timing. Was kinda bummed the selection and pricing of the women’s wetsuits were so much better than the men’s. Ended up paying the same for a mid-level suit as a friend who got the highest end women’s suit. The help was kinda useless but maybe it was just my experience.

As much as possible, I try to always patronize my local surf shops. That said, you really can’t beat the prices at this place, especially when you blow through suits and gear each season like I do. The Rip Curl Outlet Store has an excellent selection of surfing gear, at terrific discounts. I also have to agree that the staff here is really knowledgeable and helpful. The trick is to know in advance what exactly it is you are shopping for. You can even call ahead and, if they have it, they will put it on «hold» for you. AWESOME!

It may be a bit of a drive, but boy, was this place worth it. It’s the Rip Curl Outlet store, and I just bought a brand new(albeit last season model) wetsuit for $ 139.00. The prices on the stuff here are fantastic. Selection didn’t seem to a problem, either — a whole wall full of wetuits, tons of different sizes. They also sold stuff other than wetsuits — pretty much everything rip curl makes. Bathing suits, shirts, boots… everything. The staff seemd to know what they were about, even though they are all pretty young. Seriously, I think this place was being run by 16 year olds.
