Rungu

A friend saw one of these bikes in action, and as soon as she told me about it, I contacted Rungu. As a person with neurological issues, I miss bike riding, but the last couple rides put me in the hospital, so I’ve been afraid to ride. Now with my new Rungu Killamanjaro, I can handle the toughest urban riding with aplomb. I find myself aiming for potholes and train tracks, because I know this bike can take it. Plus it’s crazy cool looking, and people stop me all the time to ask about it. Bike nerds are really impressed, because all the parts used on their bikes are the top of the line, and the ride proves it.
It helps that the Rungu folks love bikes and are obviously having a great time making and selling these bikes. They go out of their way to answer questions, and they’re really a delight to work with. I’m so happy with my bike!

My wife saw one of their 3-​wheeled fat-​tire monster trikes on a website and knew she had to have one. Since this company manufactures their trikes overseas and due to a shipping delay, they agreed to send a hand-​built demo trike at a discount. On arrival, the trike did not ride correctly. We even took it to our local bike shop who confirmed that either the frame was slightly bent or there was an issue with the geometry. It might even have been damaged in shipping.
Since my wife was not happy, the guys at Rungu were not happy and as soon as their shipment arrived, they sent us a brand new replacement, paying for the CA to WI freight cost to return the demo bike as well as to ship the new one.
This new Trike was taken out for a 30 mile ride today and now I cannot seem to wipe the smile off my wife’s face. She is one happy camper.
These Rungu guys are terrific. Great customer service. Constant emails with updates on when the replacement would arrive etc. They definitely deserve my 5 star rating.
