The Habit Burger Grill

I called her today to see if my daughter left her Kindle Fire on the booth and the woman that answer the phone said will call you right back she never called back and now we’re here 7 hours later walking in and we got the Kindle Fire back obviously your customer service sucks

First time at The Habit Burger. I took my son. I had the char burger and Tempura green beans. My son had the double char burger and fries. My son liked the burger and fries. I liked my burger and the Tempura green beans were awesome! I love the strawberry Limeade! I like In and Out burgers a little better. I would rate In and Out Burgers #1 and The Habit Burger # 2. We definitely will be back.

Came in for a single fry, to-​go. Twenty minutes later I was on my way. With a line out the door you would think they would have more than one person at the register.

The corporate office took care of my comlaint pertaining to the lack of envelopes for the gift cards.
As previously stated, the negative review was based on them not having the envelopes and attitude of the manager when I asked him for them. The food, service and the employees all are fantastic. I took one star away for the unnecessary frustration.

The to-​go order system SUCKS! This is the second time in a row that my wife called in an order and wasn’t ready when I got there. When you call it goes to a central phone system and they then route it. Both times it hadn’t even reached the restaurant yet. I went shopping at Stater Bros beforehand to give adequate time. Come on, Habit, you can do better than that.

It took a while for us to give The Habit another try, but we did. And were disappointed again. The to-​go food ordering system needs some improvement. I understand not cooking the French fries until the customer is present so that they are fresh, but having to wait for them for 5 minutes while our burgers sat in the bag on the counter next to the grill getting cold is not the way to go. Several orders of fries went out while I was waiting for ours. I even asked if the burgers were still warm after waiting so long, but the server who handed me the bag didn’t respond to my question and just walked away. The bottom part of the bun on one burger was as cold as if it had been in a refrigerator, the bottom part on another burger was cool to the touch. The 3^rd burger had so many onions it, even an onion lover would take some off.
Basically ordering the food to go is a waste of time unless you are in the restaurant. otherwise the sides are cooked separately and later — which leaves the main food item not as hot as it should be while waiting for the sides.
The fries are good. The burgers are nothing special, yet good. It seems as if the service at this location has gone down hill a bit over the past year. IMO

Habit is my favorite! Love their burgers and just recently been feeling the bbq chicken salad and sweet potato fries.

We love the habit for those times you want a step above McDonald’s or Carl’s jr, but not an actual resturant. The burger and fries are a good price compared to every other chain. I like it better then five guys.

Locally the best tasting burgers around. Consistently fresh ingredients, hot, made to order. Staff and management is incredibly friendly and efficient. Facilities appeared clean and well-​maintained.,

If you like burnt hard buns; then this is the place for you!!! Terrible flavors, we will not be back.

French fries were the best part of the meal here save your money on the burger and go to McDonalds. I understand the concept of waiting for a cooked and ready meal but uncertain why I had to wait for such a sub par product. With the current trend of hamburger eateries popping up this is one of them but not executed very well together all locations deliver in such a poor manner.
The size of their typical burger truly is not much bigger then a quarter pound patty from McDonalds once it is cooked down. The fresh toppings are less than spectacular the French fries to come out nicely cooked crispy golden and great tasting. The tempura green beans were okay at best but not spectacular.

Alex the cashier looked like he knew more about serving food to customers that the two managers on shift. They should not make your buzzer ring if your stuff is still not ready. You wonder why your ticket times are so slow. Or you have unsatisfied customers stop standing there and chit chatting and do some actual work.

Ok… I’ve been debating with myself… Here is my decision.
This is probably one of the best burgers in town! Today the family and I all had the double chz, loaded, protein style burger with tempura green beans. Delicious!!!

Never been to a Habit Burger before, I’m always skeptical of new franchises coming into my back yard. I have a big heart for local. I had a coupon for a free burger form a franchise owners convention at my property, so I came in without reading the reviews.
I was very happy with my burger. I ordered it without modification… Char with cheese. It was a great burger nicely seasoned and cooked. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Fries were fresh and crispy outside and steamy inside.
The seating was clean, and constantly attended to. I noticed the manager was very present in supervision and training with associates. (This may be the result of some of the negative reviews I read while eating. I had a very simple order, but did not experience any of the negative actions or errors that were mentioned in those reviews.) The staff were full of smiles and thank you’s.
My only negative is the tip cup at the register. This is my peeve and it really chaps my @$$ when it is expected/​suggested that I tip the kid at the register before my food is made. Like he took my money better than anyone else can? Makes me wonder what would happen to my food if he weren’t supervised. Just saying… pay the staff an extra $.50 an hour and eliminate the question and obligation on the guest. Just sayin…
I am very happy with my experience here, and will not hesitate to return. I actually want to check out the Santa Barbara and the Ahi burgers.

Great burgers. The only reason for a 4 star over a 5 star… flavor. The meat lacks seasoning. If they would just season the meat a stitch…5 stars all the way.
Service is always fantastic. Smiles from all and always asking if you are ok.
Price is good and you can usually find a table unless it’s a weekend at peak hours.

A great burger joint! This was my first time visiting The Habit Burger Grill and I absolutely loved it… Amiable service, a wonderful restaurant atmosphere, and a fresh, high quality burger and fries combo for a great price. I was expecting the menu items to be pricey or a bit rarefied when I first walked in, but they’re prices are comparable to In-​N-​Out and the burgers are similar to Five Guys, only better.

I always come here for the veggie burger. Always yum. The last time I was here I just wanted a snack so I got an ice cream cone. :D They only have Vanilla ice cream available. But that’s totally fine with me because that’s the exact one I wanted! The cone is a cake cone kind of deal, so eat it pretty fast because it does get soggy. :(For me as a slow eater, the bottom of my cone was very soggy once I got to the bottom, but still good.

I won’t ever be eating at this particular Habit location again. After a mix up with an order placed online, the manager and the staff handled it extremely poorly. It seemed the least bit of effort they could put into resolving the issue, the better.
I usually really enjoy the food and the daytime staff. However, after the TERRIBLE customer service, I won’t spend another dime at that location. Not to mention the online service calling me 45 MINUTES after I placed my order to tell me there was an issue. This girl was even less helpful! I work in customer service, it’s not that hard people!
It’s funny because this isn’t the first complaint about the food being okay, but this location DEFINITELY needing to seek some new manager training. Way to keep losing customers…

Wow, this is a busy place! I was a Habit virgin up until last week when I met a few friends for a casual lunch. I had the tuna sandwich and green bean fries. Loved the fries! Even half and hour later, they were still as crispy as they were when I first got them. The tuna sandwich was good — the tuna was super fresh — but I would suggest adding just a little more *something* to it. Like a lemon aioli. It needed just a little more flavor. I didn’t try it but I liked that they have give you the option to lettuce wrap your burger/​sandwich. Next time, for sure.
Though you order at the counter it takes mere minutes to get your food. The staff are amazingly friendly. They should totally open a Habit in RSM — we are sadly missing a place like this and they would make money hand-​over-​fist!
