Beware of these people, they are shady and it is not the workers fault but the boss. They take advantage of the military as well. Charged me extra for no reason and ripped me off on an item i purchased. I trusted them. Despicable.

May not be the biggest pawn shop but they have a lot of goodies from firearms, DVD’s, guitars and much more. The prices aren’t the best but there pretty good and the employees are very helpful. To me having A/​C is a big plus because some pawn shops are old and don’t have A/​C. This is definitely a place to check every so often because you never know what they’ll get.

This is a GOOD place for relatively inexpensive gun transactions. I HIGHLY recommend it as a place to save money on gun transfers, and as a place to find good deals on used guns.
On 21 Apr 2015, when an unsupervised junior clerk (Sol M.) engaged in illegal and arrogant misconduct with me during a gun transaction, the manager followed up by properly firing that clerk. /​It would be very wrong for this fine business to suffer for the past misconduct of an unsupervised junior clerk (Sol M.).

This place has some very nice antique jewelry. I bought a ring of diamonds and sapphires, which is gorgeous and costs only a fraction of what you will pay in auction houses, not even retail. I then bought a couple of antique bangles, one is 18kt yellow gold with diamonds and sapphire, and the other is 18 white with diamonds. I get complements all the times for them and nobody believes what I pay for. I will go back and will shop for myself and my family. I will never go back to the jewelry shops in the mails or anywhere else.

This is a great little store. I bought a canon camera worth double what I paid for. I has shoppes around before I came to this store, everywhere sold this camera for at least $ 200 more. Highly recommended! Don’t miss this wonderful store.

I bought a silver chain that was stamped with Italy 925 on it and it turned out to be fake. I went back to the hillcrest pawn shop and informed them that the chain was burning my neck with a rash like reaction as well as showing the silver overlay discoloration. They told me that they can’t do anything about it. The people are rude and disrespectful. They sell fake items. They didn’t even bother to rectify the situation. This is not the behavior of a professional business. I will be reporting this fraudulent behavior to the BBB.

Bought a firearm from them and they do not understand the the laws and highly unfamilliar on how to DROS a firearm. They are rude after I came back notifiying them of the mistake on the DROS.

I am bummed by the bad reviews… Every visit to this place was the same — always one or two customers ahead of me being helped, and I never heard any troubles from anyone being helped. I always received very courteous and informed help. I handled a firearm purchase and shipment twice through David, and all was smooth and straightforward even though I was not actually buying anything from his inventory. His charges were lower than most I had checked. Thank You, David

I had always thought a Pawnbroker was for people needing to desperately sell for money needs … Turns out it works both ways …
One persons release is another persons score … These guys have pretty freaking awsome items for sale with almost a guarantee what you have purchased is valued to be double the price when appraised for insurance purposes …
They carry only very nice items … I highly recommend them if your looking for a real deal …
These guys rock !!
