Just got a nail fixed that I broke, I always call ahead for gel nails as Ytawn usually takes care of me. It was so inexpensive so I added a manicure for an extra treat. The staff is so accommodating & friendly! Read the post from another user bitching that there were workers & no one could do her fix, I remember her she was so rude! They told her they could take care of her in a little while because the tech that does acrylic was at lunch, & she just started yelling causing a scene and making everyone uncomfortable. I was in the back getting my eyebrows done & could hear her bitching. Everyone there specializes in different treatments as they tried to explain to her, but she wouldn’t listen & stormed out. How rude! Try them out call ahead for acrylics, as you have to do everywhere !

Y tawn and her staff are amazing! I always s feel welcome as soon as I walk through the door! The store is always clean and the staff go out of their way to make sure you are happy. I’ve been coming here since I moved to the area and won’t go anywhere else. Y-​tawn does the best nails and I receive compliments daily on them. Professional, clean, friendly and fun environment

Came in… nobody’s there and there’s 4 or 5 workers, and not one of them could do my nail… yes, 1 nail that had broken off, not even a full set! Ridiculousness!

Mindy is available by appointments. Sometimes if you’re lucky, she will work on you. Her services are the best. She doesn’t ever try to upgrade my services, her massages put me to sleep 4 out of 5 times, she has a great sense of humor and listens to what I want.
Overall, clean cute place with great service. Been coming here since I moved to pb. You gotta check out mindy. Her leg massage is on point!

I love this salon. The people who work here are the best. It’s always super clean and professional. If I ever go to a different salon I kick myself because they always do a better job at affectionate. My sisters and my mom always come here and make us feel like family. Definitely worth it everytime !

Expensive and does not do a good job, might as well do your own nails!!! I was supposed to get a mani/​pedi but instead I just ended up with a pedi Coz I ddnt wanna pay more for their lousy job!!! I don’t need to explain myself here, but if you want a horrible mani/​pedi, come on by and see for yourself!!!

I came here to get acrylics on my nails. The place was nice and clean, but I was kinda disappointed on the outcome of my nails. The acrylics started to come off after a week!
Also, while I was having them done, the manicurist cut my index finger with the drill and proceeded to pour chemicals on it throughout the session– OUCH!
I think that the last thing that topped off the experience was that I asked for a heart on one of my nails, she tried to draw one and we both looked at it and knew it was lumpy and terrible. So she repainted the nail and tried again. Again, it just looked like a lumpy circle… so then she repainted it again and said «it’s okay with no design» and then just brought me the bill. HOW HARD IS IT TO DRAW A LITTLE HEART like I feel like thats nails 101.

Bad, really bad. I believe I can do a better job myself. I kick myself every time I go in, get disappointed, and end up having to pay. They watch tv while they’re working on you, and one person in particular will cut your nails, unevenly, and leave them without filing. Also if you pay with a cc, they will add to their tip (on top of what you said), and say the machine wouldn’t accept anything less. Such bs!

Tu is slow but I don’t mind since she’s really gentle and does a great good with my nails, they always look great! The location is awesome (right across from the beach and next to Starbucks). Only place I’ll go to get my nails done.

This is my first review on Unilocal.I usually don’t write a review, but this time I just can’t let this terrible experience go. This is the worst nail salon EVER in my whole life. They are absolutely not professional and suck at service. Their price is $ 10 more expensive on average than other salons that area. I totally wish I could give negative star to this place. It will be way much easier to find a place better than here.

Walked up and down Mission Blvd looking for a decent place to get a Pedi. This place was nice and clean, with plenty of mags and comfy chairs. My gal was sweet and did a great job. I’d def recommend and go back when in the area again.

Well I got a gift card to this place and all they do is nails/​manicures and pedicures. What’s a guy to do? So I asked them about whether not guys get prdiicures and they assured me yes every day. So I tried my first pedicure and they gave me some men’s magazines to read and the chair gives you a massage while they’re working on your feet. I have no idea how to compare this to other places because this was my first and only pedicure but after being on the beach every day and also working every day and standing, my feet have never looked better although I’ve never really paid any attention to how they look to before this.
So guys give it a try if you get a gift card and try not to be too ticklish like I was.

I walked into salon with no one in there. Asked for a quick mani-​pedi during my lunch. I was told no problem. Two hours later I have half done toes by someone that clearly didn’t know what she was doing and not sure she was licensed. They had a huge wedding party come in 20 minutes after I did and all the nail techs services them. That is clearly not the issue as they could have told me to come back or they were booked but instead just gave me someone with no skills. $ 50.00 later my nails look horrible. I will never go back.

Overall great experience! Came in on a whim on Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend. He enjoyed a spa pedicure with Kim which he said was great. I got a gel manicure with a man name pronounced «Q-see»…no idea how to spell that. I was pretty embarrassed with the condition of my nails and cuticles and he assured me «That’s what we’re here for!» The main reason we were so impressed was that there was no chitter chatter between the nail technicians which can often feel very awkward or judgmental. Not once did that happen in our time there. We suggested them offering champagne while getting your nails done which is something we have gotten at another salon and we thought it was pretty awesome. Would definitely come back again! :)

Horrible! I just got my nails done today and as the guy was cutting my cuticles off he completely missed my cuticle and cut off a chunk of my skin! It started bleeding profusely and wouldn’t stop they gave me a blood stopper and told me to give it pressure and it would stop after a couple minutes. It didn’t stop bleeding out for 30 minutes… It hurts and now I have to wait until it heals to get my nails done, today was my one day off and thanksgiving is in 2 days. Great! Never coming here again. Absolutely ridiculous. Hopefully their tools are clean so I don’t get an infection.

I wanted to try a new place but they charge way too much!!! I feel like you are just being judged by others here (the workers) a guy did my toes, which is fine but he was not good at all. I would rather go to my normal place and have a ok job with better workers and great cheep prices!!!

The place is a little hidden next to a grocery store. The prices seem a bit on the high side, but I’m used to Texas prices so that could be why. The shellac I had done here lasted a really long time. It didn’t chip or peel for about two weeks. The pedicure was a little underwhelming. Considering the price it went really fast and didn’t have a long massage or sugar scrub. The polish lasted though, so it’s a reliable place to have work done quickly.

I got gel nails done here 3 days ago and they are already chipping. I love gel nails and have them done all the time, so this really bummed me out. I can’t comment about the other services here, but the gel nails are no good.

Double the price of my local salon for gel removal.
The only star is for the location — by the beach with a supermarket parking lot.
To tonight I got the mean lady with attitude yelling the prices at me when I walked in and asked about gel removal.
She actual scrunched her face at me when I said thank you and decided not to pay the outrageous price.
Then after getting the angry face I said to her, «wow, I i going to Unilocal that.»
Not checking in here again.
