Starbucks

I was very disappointed at this place for the girl on the counter was very rude. After I asked if they had a type of coffee and asked if it was good, she replied «of you don’t like it, you don’t like it and you can just buy something else» with an awful demeanor and felt very disrespected. I was recording myself inside the location and a male employee comes up to me and veey abruptly interrupts me and tells me to put down my phone and to stop recording saying its company policy. When its actually not true because unless you are considered media, you are totallt allowed to record inside as long as you dont record the menu. (Which i wasnt). After we got out the Starbucks and sat down on the chairs outside, the guy comes out and starts stacking up all the chairs in a very agressively manner and early of course cause there was still sunlight. He told us they were closing soon and basically kicking us out, my friend confronted him about why he was being so rude to me and he talked back to her as if he was on a street fight talking to just anybody. He mentioned something about us being mexicans and he was so aggravated he rushed back inside. I guess the shift manager saw what was happening through the window and came outside to apologize to us. I do not recommend this place at all. Very very bad service. Never coming back here.

Ok this is a great starbucks. The service was great the people are friendly and I enjoy coming here often. Gabriella one of the barista’s is friendly and helpful and was patient with my kids who are a bit picky. Great supervisor too. You guys rock.

Husband walked by and got us our morning usual while staying a block away. Coffee was good and staff was pleasant. Didn’t hurt that the weather outside was windy and cold so not so much traffic today… good for us because no long lines!

O.M.G., this is the bestest Starbucks in San Diego.
The staff is super friendly and actually happy to be working (they enjoy their job). This is the kind of place you have to be passionate about to work there. As for cleanliness they are way above average, even with the homeless abusing the privilege (its not a right to use a private business as your personal bathroom). These guys are always working on something customers, cleaning, restocking, or just taking a minute to listen to a lonely old person (everyone is important to them).
I would give it 5 stars but everything has room for improvement;)

It’s Starbucks, the drinks are good, predictable. This location does not have enough tables inside, and outside homeless people are very aggressively asking for money. I did not feel comfortable with my laptop out. Had to leave and find some place else to meet with my co-​workers. But I am not sure what they can do about it, its the location.

I like the location, right near by the beach friendly staff, delicious mocha… Whatelse would you want in a shiny san diego day!!!

kinda’ small inside, but more seating outdoors (it being next to ralph’s). i didn’t see a restroom in there (although i didn’t look for one).

Prompt, nice attitude, great local next to beach, local regulars (cute) bunch a you guess with skateboards, bikes, GETS BUSY during the SUMMER MONTHS! Love the Ralph’s next door. Parking there too

I enjoyed my visit at this location. Cashier was friendly despite it being early in the morning and my having a large’ish order, 4 drinks. Everything was made to our specifications with no issues. My favorite thing about this location is it is right by the beach so we were able to take our drinks to go and enjoyed them while sitting in the sand watching the surfers catching their morning waves.

One of the worst starbucks ive been to. I’ve given them a few chances, they mess up my drink every single time and then are rude when I say its wrong. I drink decaf, they always make it regular. Thats a huge mistake for someone who can’t have caffeine. And then their rude to me. Even the order taker is rude. They all seem young and pissed they’re at work. Definitely go to another starbucks!

I just returned from a short business trip to San Diego. The Hotel and Convention services offered by the Paradise Point resort were nice and comfortable, except for the Coffee. I was up early (5:30 AM) on the 2^nd Morning and decided that I had already had my last cup of room coffee. So I hopped in the car and found this Starbucks. At this hour, I also had a Denny’s or IHOP to choose from, but decided to pass this time around.
The Coffee met my expectations, but the Pumpkin Scone was stale. I wish I knew what their pastry retention schedule was, otherwise I would have tried one of their breakfast sandwiches or brought something back from the nearby Ralph’s Grocery Store Bakery. Still… the enjoyment of good (or at least better) coffee was worth the journey.
