I had a wedding that I was a bridesmaid in and I wanted a little«glow» to my pasty body. I’ve tanned in other tanning beds previously and I know I can get a good tan from them; well as good as you can get from a tanning bed, of course. So I saw on their website that you can get a tan in 3 tans. I talked with one of the associates and he was very helpful and friendly and told me that each tan in that particular bed was equal to 3 to 4 tans in a regular bed. I liked that they offered the fastest tan guaranteed. I like what I had to hear, so I went down and purchased the special, buy 2 tans, and get 2 free. So 4 tans in a 10 day period. When I went in the girl helping me looked at my skin and looked at the lotion I brought in and said that I would definitely get at least a few shades darker, that I was going to have the«glow» I was looking for. This was perfect because I didn’t want to look pasty and I didn’t want to look like fake baked for the wedding. After my 3rd session, I noticed that I didn’t have any color change. I wore underwear for all the sessions so I can see the progress. I talked to one of the associates that day and proceeded to show her there were no tan lines, no color, no nothing. I asked her what they would do if I didn’t get a tan that they guaranteed. She told me point blank that they would refund my money. She also began to go back on what everyone originally told me and said that they don’t guarantee people with my skin tone. She told me that the beds don’t usually work on people like me. People like me? Hm, that’s not what everyone else said. So why would they guarantee me a tan if they knew I wasn’t going to benefit from it? I completed my last and final session in the time they allotted me. I didn’t see a tan. Remind you, I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and it was that weekend… so after my final tan I told them I want my money back because I didn’t have tan lines. They refused to give me my money back, they said that they would airbrush me but I would have to come in the next day. Since I was leaving on a plane that night for the wedding, I couldn’t exactly do that. There were no refunds, no apologies, nothing. Trust me, I showed everyone there that I was not lying about any tan lines either. Let’s just say that I was the pasty one in the wedding party.

The«Get Tan In Just 3 Sessions» is true. I have a business trip coming up and looked in the mirror — white as a ghost. So I went to see Always Tan. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Not at all«too busy» or rude. Also, they aren’t just a bunch of college girls working there. They know their stuff and they don’t try to up sell or con you into buying all the extras. I had tanned in booths before(a long time ago) and had to build up to any decent amount of tan, but they have these high pressure beds and I tanned for 18 minutes w/out getting the least bit burned. I now have color — granted I don’t look like Miss Hawaiian Tan, but definitely not scaring the fish. I will continue to tan here even though it is a little far for me. With their high pressure beds you only have to tan once every other week to maintain your tan. Worth it for me because I don’t have time or inclination to tan every other day.

You know its a good tanning place when ANOTHER tanning place recommends it, right? I walked into some random tanning place by my gym and the girl working the front desk leans in and tells me that«Always Tan» is better, and I should just go there. OOOkkkkkk… so I did! And I’ve never stopped going. Their motto is «Get Tan in Just Three Sessions» and ain’t that the truth? With every modern tanning bed out there — mist tan, leg tan, solar tan, they’ve got it. They are professional in their promise not to let you burn. Even if you want to they’ll time the beds so you can’t. I usually use Bed #1 or Bed #2. Those are high-powered beds that cost around $ 30 to use a session but well worth it if you’re trying to get a quick lasting tan or base tan. They sell sample packs of the latest bronzers and lotions for a $ 5 to $ 7 if you don’t want to buy an expensive bottle. They have great hours and you always get a little candy and cable radio to listen to during your tanning session! Love it!
