An ergonomics expert came to our business to evaluate our work space. She recommended ARC to purchase office chairs. We purchased two chairs and actually had several problems with them both. Levers broke and parts needed to be replaced. The chairs are expensive and meant to be adjusted regularly so it was frustrating and surprising. Bob was incredibly helpful explaining the manufacturer of this chair had recently switched distributors and since then these chairs had been having problems. These chairs have been used in dozens of businesses around town and only recently(when we purchased them of course!) had they started getting complaints. Bob did everything possible to make us happy, including replacing the chairs with ones that were slightly more costly without asking us to pay the difference. The warranty covered every replacement and service call, as well as completely replacing the chairs for a new model. The new chairs are superb and we are completely satisfied. Bob called to make sure we were happy with the chairs and continued to apologize for our frustration. The customer service is fantastic and despite the difficulty we had with our first model, I would certainly recommend their business to anyone looking for top of the line products and service.

I was lucky enough to find them through a simple internet search and that one event has led me to so many great things. I called and spoke to Bob Tripp and he agreed to meet with me that day. He spent a huge amount of time with me both on that visit and on many subsequent visits. I am self employed working in a home office, so I have had a lot of trouble with any other ergonomics folks being too helpful, but that was not the case with Bob and ARC. Additionally, when Bob came out to my home office to help with my new setup of a sit and stand desk and saddle seat, he also gave me some life changing advice on some posture therapy from another company that would really help me maximize my new equipment and really help with my chronic pain. All in all, I will always turn to ARC and Bob for any questions or assistance I may have as they are outstanding!

Ever been speechless, where you had so much to say that you don’t know where to start? That’s exactly how I feel about Arc Ergonomics and particularly Bob Tripp whom helped me way beyond what I thought possible. Bob spent almost 2 hours with me to find the perfect chair to help me with chronic back pain that was preventing me from doing my life’s work. I knew he was highly knowledgeable when he thoroughly evaluated my posture and identified specifically how my spine was twisted, shoulder lower on one side, etc. Then he shared he took the Egoscue certification training. It all made sense to me. He understood that my current back condition(due to three whiplash accidents in my 20’s and continued postural imbalances) would require unique chair adjustments while I worked with my Egoscue therapist to restore my natural back alignment. He wasn’t simply selling me a chair, he wanted to help me feel immediate relief, be able to return to work, and also be an integrative part of the healing process. Bob’s compassion and patience was amazing as we tried chair after chair and then made minute adjustments asking every step of the way for feedback on how I felt in each chair and position. When I acknowledged him for his true caring and compassion he humbly shared that this work is his«ministry.» My life’s work is illuminating people’s authentic life calling and I was awe inspired to be the beneficiary of Bob’s support in what was clearly his life’s calling. If spending two hours with me and then also intricately assessing my posture wasn’t enough, he also offered to let me take the chair home(no charge) and try it out for a bit to see if it helped… before purchasing. This was a far cry from the last store I’d visited and even purchased a chair, which not only did not fit me for a chair but they also charged a restocking fee for taking it home for a day. But wait, it gets better ~ I called Bob upon receiving the chair(they delivered it at no charge) telling him that something just didn’t feel right. He suggested that I bring it in so he could adjust it for me further. No problem. Less than a few hours later he called me and said, «my heart just doesn’t feel good about this, I’d like to come out and do the adjustment in your work station to help you get out of pain.» Did I mention I’d paid an ergonomist the prior week $ 175 to come out to my office and evaluate my work station? When I thanked him deeply for his support his comment was, «isn’t this how it’s supposed to be, people supporting each other?» He really cares and truly wants to help people relieve their pain. Whether you want to be proactive and set up your work station ergonomically or you have chronic back pain and need assistance with a work station that helps, I highly recommend ARC ergonomics and Bob Tripp!

Who knew we had this gem in San Diego? I have had a carpal tunnel issue and have been trying to resolve for sometime. I happened upon them searching for products on the internet. I visited the store and Bob was such an amazing help! I basically got an ergonmic evaluation right there. Very knowledgeable and terrific service.
