I stopped in for a new windshield wiper. The check out girl was so friendly and helpful! She offered to help me put the new wiper on, and, when she couldn’t figure it out, got George, who went above and beyond to help me get the blade on. Apparently it needed a special adapter. I’ve never been to an auto store with this awesome of employees! Thanks for all the help!

Bough a battery here for my car the guy even offered to help out it in. The only problem I had was the made me pay $ 15 dollars extra a a core charge even though I gave them my old battery 10 minutes latter.

I recently went on a trip to big bear and the conditions were very hazardous. Chains were required for anyone going up the mountain. Unfortunately, the chains I purchased had broken leaving me stranded on the mountain for over 2 hours. When I came back to auto zone to explain the situation they were very understanding and helpful. I was able to get a full refund, no hassle. Thank you again, Carlos b.

Above and beyond service from a younger female employee. Patient & had good suggestions for gifts for my boyfriend. One of the things I bought were RainX wipers & my boyfriend loves them! You barely need to use them he says since the RainX helps the rain just slide right off! Plus I got a $ 10 mail in rebate! Bonus.

After getting my car jumped late on a Sunday night; Autozone was the only place open. I went in, Carmen and Benny opened my car hood and discovered that I needed a new battery. Instead of just selling me a battery, they went above and beyond and installed the battery right then! LIFE SAVER!!! I honestly do not know what I would have done without them totally hooking me up! They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

I want to give a huge thank you to The staff at the North Park Auto Zone. I had a issue with the warranty of a battery and this staff went above and beyond to help me. In a time of disparity! I was at the point of tears. I was stranded and had no where to go cause my battery had went dead. And they pulled threw I appreciate everything about this staff. They are truly good people. And I can say I have always received nothing but the best service here. They are honest and seriously good people. And I send nothing the prayers and blessing to all of them and there familys. Thank you Auto Zone!

Luckily made it to AutoZone with my battery on it’s last leg. Carman Took care of me. She was very fast and efficient, which is great because I still had groceries in my car. Carman knew exactly how to fix me up and get me out of there in just a few minutes. If she is not a manager she should be. Good job Carman!

I went in yesterday and Carmen was so extremely helpful. She was well-​educated and knew what the hell she was talking about. She was able to foresee what I would need, and she went above and beyond to please a customer. She gives great customer service and she’s efficient.

I went in and out, no problems, great assistance on getting my battery switched out. It was a breeze!

Gone to this auto one for years actually, and never experienced what i did the other day. I lost my receipt for some drum brakes i bought my mini van, then ended up not needing them because we sold the car and bought a new one. I attempted to return the brakes so they would not go to waste and simply asked for at least just a gift card in exchange since i understandably didnt have the receipt anymore. Was treated as if i was some dumb female that didnt know shit about cars, told that i HAD to have the receipt to get ANYTHING and the man behind the counter couldnt do anything and that i «might as well just throw them away» even though they were store brand, he «couldnt prove they were bought from this location» because it had obviously been past the 30 day mark and i had paid for them in cash because the purchase wasnt in the system still.
The brakes were still in their original wrapping, and box, totally untouched and when he scanned the bar code, the price clearly came up on screen. After a certain point the guy would not even give me a GIFT CARD for them!!! so i took them else where and got what i needed. For some reason after he saw my husbands name also pop up on the screen for our shared address, he just acted like they were HIS and i was trying to return them to get money for them.
I am thoroughly disappointed. I Had heard of the sexist behavior from staff at other auto zone locations but never experienced it myself until now. I am a female and i SURPRISE i AM car knowledgeable. I was treated with contempt and he acted as though i had somehow «taken» them and was trying to return them and was on the fence about weather or not they were even mine to begin with!
He then also told me that the brakes had a 25 year warranty on them but that i STILL couldnt get anything back for them without a the receipt… does everyone save a receipt for 20 years? probably not.

The guys here are really customer service oriented and know their stuff to help customers.

Carman helped me tremendously tonight! My rear right taillight and blinker were out and I had no idea what to do?! Not only did she sell me the light but she installed both of them for me with a smile on her face and did it in just a few minutes! I am so grateful for people like her Who take their job with pride and help someone out! Every time I go to AutoZone the staff is always willing to help a hand if they are able to. The Ocean Beach location is very helpful as well! Thank to Carman, you SAVED me from possibly getting very expensive ticket! You’re awesome!

Had a most wonderful experience here! I needed to purchase a new headlight bulb. There were three staff working. One quickly looked up the part for me, and as he was ringing me up and we were chatting, I mentioned I was planning to YouTube instructions to install it. Immediately, Carman offered to help me. She was so kind — she quickly and expertly changed the bulb for me, then showed me how to do it to save me the time YouTubing for next time. She’s awesome — based on this experience, I will be back!
(Note: This comes on the heels of a terrible first experience there — I went to purchase coolant, and was ignored for a good five minutes while workers chatted with another customer. At first I thought it was just really good service, going the extra mile for that customer, but after awhile it became apparent they were just chatting with their friend. I left and purchased my coolant elsewhere. While I didn’t want to return, it’s the closest auto store to my home. I’m so glad to have had the great experience above, and hope to see Carman there again when I go back!)

I’ve been dealing with this business for a while now and have always been impressed with their customer service. But today they performed well above and beyond. I needed new windshield wiper blades, which they installed but found that one side would not totally clean the windshield. Even after a lot of time spent by the manager to get the blade to cover the whole windshield (something the old blade couldn’t do either) it turned out that the arm was bent beyond correction and needed to be replaced. But this was not confirmed until they had spent some time trying various adjustments to get the blade to work properly. In the end I had to get a new arm, which they installed with no charge for installation after which the blades worked properly and cleaned the entire windshield. You guys rock! Thanks so much and I very much appreciate that you are in my neighborhood!

We stop by Auto Zone to get a positive battery terminal to fix the problem with our battery. Carmen one of the managers assisted us with the repair. She was the most notable person ever, and wasn’t scared to get dirty and was quick to answer are questions. I want to thank the employees of AutoZone for excellent customer service. Carmen, thanks for going above and beyond your duties.

Gustavo & Carmen gave me the ABSOLUTE BEST SERVICE I’VE RECIEVED IN ALL OF SAN DIEGO IN OVER 2 YEARS!!!
I’m leaving on a trip to Alaska today in my ’98 ‘Burban and got my battery charged yesterday to see if it was okay… it wasn’t!
She charged it and then tested it and it dropped from 100% to 75% immediately.
I thought I’d be out $ 120 since I couldn’t find the appropriate stuff for my warranty to come through. Carmen busted her butt and made sure that I didn’t have to BUY a new battery and would be safe on my trip! She absolutely went the extra 30 miles to make a customer happy!!!
I can’t begin to tell you how refreshing it is to know that there is some Southern Hospitality in California! If you need help and want to get the RIGHT stuff for your vehicle without being prodded to purchase more expensive items… GO HERE!

I love the crew at this location. They changed a battery out for me (saving me $ 200 that the dealer wanted to charge) as well as replaced my headlight for me so everyone that I blinded by driving with my high beams, you can now stop flipping me off and flashing your lights at me.
I would give them 6 stars if I could!

When you walk in and the staff greets you by repeatedly calling you «Bro» give them the benefit of the doubt and ignore their discourtesy. Ask for a manager to assist you to find out that he (Benjamin)who is calling you Bro is the manager. Good luck with these guys; true winners. Thank you Unilocal for letting people voice their opinions; this place needs to re-​evaluate their staff.

Customer service is nice enough but not helpful. My boyfriend was looking for fuses for his brake lights and the rep suggested fuses for his anti lock brake system which obviously would not work.

Jacob is THE MAN! My front right side hubcap had come off and needed replacing. A chore I was dreading, I decided to locate the AZ closest to me. Jacob helped me at the counter. I showed him my broken rim and asking if I could purchase a replacement, he suggested I invest in a new set and showed them to me. After making my selection and price adjusting the set to the sale price I saw, he could see that I was not a auto savvy gal and offered to put them on for me. Turned me down ever so politely when I attempted to tip him. Give this man a RAISE! What a gem–
