Love coming here for some boba drinks that are worth $ 4. My favorites are the Thai Tea, Mango Smoothie, Taro Smoothie & Avocado Smoothie.

My 2 year old son and I came to buy a boba, after waiting since it was busy we finally get our drink. My son drops his drink on the floor and what seems to be the owner or the owners wife gets angry. I asked if we can have another drink and with attitude responds with, yes but you will have to pay. My son then had the saddest face since we had been waiting. She could of at least been polite about the situation for the fact my son did it by accident. Not a good experience. Not coming back here again.

Great sandwiches(Always get #1) and very delicious Thai Tea. Not the best place to sit down and eat, but perfect for on the go eat-in-the-car type meal.

SCAMMER!!! This guy is a crook. Tried getting a few gallons of water from him and while my change on the register said $ 4.25 he only gives me back $ 1.25. He tried to rush me out of there to get the next customer in line. No doubt he does this to other customers. One word to someone who has a Rolex watch-SHADY

I’m not sure if this is a sandwich shop that sells lots of other stuff; or another store that happens to sell sandwiches. The problem with being a Jack of all Trades is that you’re the master of none. I’ve been looking for a banh mi sandwich to replace the ones I loved from Ks sandwich shop which burnt down. This place has decent enough sandwiches, but lacks the finesse of Ks. The bread is small and grocerystorish, which when warmed has a nice enough crunch to it. But cooled it goes back to hogey roll consistency. The ham sandwich I had was piled nicely with shredded ham vice sliced ham and thick slices veggies – all tasty, just not as elegant. Service was quick, though I couldn’t see where the sandwiches were made behind the wall of water dispensing items and equipment. They also sell Lotto tickets which are as good a quality as anywhere else! No place really to sit and eat on premises. The price is right($ 3.95 for a sandwich. About the going rate.) I’d give it a passing grade… but I hope Ks returns to business soon.

Bad customer service. Oriental guy has a bad attitude. Started giving crap to customers. Don’t know how these people stay in business. Good water though, better than Glacier.

are you serious??? it hasn’t even been 30 minutes since i wrote my review and i’ve had to throw up multiple times. all i did after finishing my meal was gag, feel nauseous, and experience feverish symptoms. i had to run to the bathroom to keep from throwing up on the floors of zion. zero stars. (couldn’t even post this earlier because Unilocal’s technical problems!)

Fresh ingredients in their boba drinks ! Get the avocado ! I’ve had durian, Thai tea and jack fruit so far ! So delicious ! Had a few bahn mi’s too! The baguette was on point and the price was even more on point ! The owner Tim is so cool and very personable !! He knows his food and drinks are the best and takes great pride as he should. Highly recommend !

Finally went I to try this shops Taro boba smoothie. yea I got a thing for taro right now. .lol I am venturi g around town as it comes in search of the top places to get a boba fix… Whether taro or green tea or whatever. this shop has a good selection not too many where u get dizzy trying to differ what you can try. I think this is ideal for beginners like me who only get boba every now and then &aren’t as viced in the varieties and sorts of boba concoctions! It wasn’t busy, I walked right in and placed order and got it pretty quick. I wasn’t asked for size preferencr so it just might come as a large. I paid $ 5.16 total. I like that there’s boba all over not just at bottom. It tastes up to par, as if I’d gotten it from any of the others bit without the fancy store labeling-just plain and t9 me if it tastes same who cares about label . I would give this a go again and not really down to sit because it’s small and like I can enjoy it in the comforts of home… Not a place I’d spend hours in tho, not much else to keep hanging around but overall it’s a good place to stop if u are on the way to work or just off to somewhere that’ll be a lil drive and need a quick fix.

I have been here to buy Boba and(bounce off the wall) Vietnamese coffee. Today, I went for the BBQ Pork Bahn Mi sandwich and I am hooked. I actually really like this place. The owner is very nice and alway welcoming. It’s not over priced in the least bit. I recommend trying one of these sandwiches. They are a little bit of heaven inside of a perfect tasting baguette.(wiping drool from chin…)

Wow, tasty Banh Mi from a water store! Who knew? Don’t be afraid it’s outstanding and cheap.

I’m brand new to San Diego from Chicago, first generation Viet. I’ve been to many banh mi places between Chicago and everything on Bolsa Ave from when I was a kid, and Houston — all places where there is a decent population of immigrated Viets, thus, the Viet food is most authentic in these places. I just finished taking my first few bites out of my dac biet banh mi(and if you read any of my other reviews, you’ll know that the dac biet is my favorite and the only sandwich I usually order). The bread is fresh, the flavor is great. I actually had stopped in after going to the Asian grocery store next door, and happened to pick up some pickles veggies and decided to have a sandwich after church. I threw in the extra veggies cause they’re my favorite, and it’s really hitting the spot. I’m not a big tomato fan, so I took it out since I’m not used to it. There’s lots of cilantro which gives it a nice fragrance and freshness to it as well. The price is average — with tax, my sandwich was $ 4.26. I would definitely refer my friends and come back again. It seems like a family run business, and I’m all about support the little guy.

Very clean, very affordable, and run by a wonderful family. I have been coming here for years. I get my water refilled cheaper than anywhere in town. Don’t trust the little machine in front of supermarkets, Buy from a reputable water source like Avian. They also have the best sugarcane juice iced drink. It is made fresh to order and is absolutely incredible. Their sandwich selection is great and inexpensive with fresh ingredients and soft bread. I always buy a lottery ticket too and seem to always pull a good winner most of the time. This store is a hidden gem in a wonderful part of Linda Vista. Stop by and check it out!

I know this may look like a water place but you can also get fresh delicious sandwiches and movies for a great price. I always get the number 2

Came here to try their banh mi and was pleasantly surprised. I had the #1 special and my boyfriend had the #5 grilled pork. We both really like our sandwiches. The bread was nice and crispy on the outside. Not too toasted like some places where by the time you finish you have a mountain pile of bread crumbs all over the place. It’s your typical Vietnamese sandwich. They do add tomatoes which I find uncommon but I didn’t mind it at all. Each sandwich is a little under $ 4 each. We were both full afterwards. Reason I’m only giving 3 stars is because the boba drinks are very bland and watered down. Milk tea had barely any tea taste and the boba had no flavor. There’s only one size(large) and about $ 4 each. Way to expensive for a low quality boba drink. I would never order a drink here again. The place itself is interesting. It’s like a tiny convenient story but also sells drinking water. They also have random snacks, ice cream pops, and lotto. If you want to quick bite and craving banh mi then give this place a try. Skip the drinks.

Great Bahn Mi sandwiches and their spring rolls were great. Excellent for a quick lunch.

Expect these 4 bad things about this place: #1: Boring café latte that tasted like half milk tea, half coffee. The boba has no taste, like eating a bunch of rice flours balls. #2: Nothing great about the sandwich, there also some tomatoes in the sandwich which I don’t expect in a Vietnamese sandwich. #3: Owner is a jerk, don’t expect him to smile, friendly or welcome you. #4: Expect no yogurt sample if you dress down or look poor. The owner dislike someone that he” thinks«can’t bring him business.

What a weird drinking water place, that sells lottery, shampoo, water accessories, Vietnamese sandwiches and drinks, and YOGURT. Their sandwiches are okay, I wouldn’t necessarily rave about them, especially with Bale Restaurant right next door. Their ice coffee is pretty good, I would recommend trying their drinks out, but their sandwiches aren’t anything to get excited about. Pretty neat little hole in the wall place.

It’s a water store, yogurt shop, banh mi and boba spot :) I love their avocado and durian shakes. The banh mi is pretty good too. I also buy my drinking water here. Haven’t tried the yogurt yet. They only have one large size for their smoothie drinks but they give a generous amount. The place is small so there’s no where to really sit but outside there’s a few tables. I usually stop by to grab some lunch to go.
