Avril Boutique

This is a stylish boutique that has adorable clothes, and at a very reasonable price! The staff is so friendly and more than willing to do whatever they can to help you find something that is just right for you. There is a nice variety of clothing, everything from going out dresses to casual clothes. I would highly recommend shopping here!

I made the decision to go to this clothing store after my sister recommended it to me. I was not disappointed. I found that the store had plenty of parking and was easy to get to from my home. In addition to the accessibility, I found the store to offer a range of clothing options for various price points. I enjoyed that I could mix a more expensive pair of pants with a cheaper blouse to create an affordable outfit. I will definitely be returning to this store.

Cute clothes for younger crowd, but you can find nicer and cheaper in other boutiques in PB anyways, and I did not find anything special. However, yesterday they had $ 2 jeans (if you are size 0) which is a total steal as they were very cute and modern. Other $ 2 offers included corduroy jeans with some flowery stuff, but those I would not get even for free. There were nice items but only if you are in your 20s I would say.
The shop assistant was adorable and attentive and even gave me a coupon when I told her that actually I stopped by there just to browse as my intention was to go and get something at another boutique where I got a coupon for:)

Alexis was full of energy, happy to help me and my friend, had great sense of style. She really made our shopping experience one to remember!

I’ve never written a Unilocal review before, but I was so displeased with the service I received at Avril that I really felt compelled to write one.
I gave them two stars simply because the first time I came into Avirl, the girl who was working was so friendly and helpful, and truly showed great customer service.
Unfortunately I ended up returning the dress I bought with her, simply because I’d found a better one. It was for graduation, which was yet to happen, so up until the return, the dress (except for being tried on a few times to show friends/​roommates) had lived in my closet on a hanger.
When I tried to return it for store credit, they told me they could not accept it because of a stain they pointed out on the back of the dress. I could barely see such a stain, and I was pretty adamant on returning the dress since I had never even worn it.
Regardless of whether or not there was a stain, the way I was treated in the store was entirely unacceptable. The manager who had told the sales girl not to accept my return, disappeared into the back before I had even managed to say hello to him, and then refused to come out– the sales girl simply told me that there was nothing she could do and that he refused to accept it– and apparently couldn’t be bothered to speak with me either. She suggested I come back another day.
I was amazed that a manager would refuse to speak to a customer who he had not even greeted, and left it up to the employee (who apparently was brand new) to turn me away, despite me asking to speak with him. I really did not appreciate this service; I’m a student in the area and I had no intent of taking advantage of the store, I had just asked to speak with the manager to clear up issues of return, which seemed fair to me. I certainly won’t be shopping at Avril again after being treated so rudely.
I also found out later that the same dress is being sold for at 50% discount at the sister store down the street… wish I’d walked in there first!

My favorite boutique in PB! I always come here to get dresses, mainly for going out or for Vegas. But they have nice shirts, skirts, and sun dresses as well. I had a wallet from there that I loved, it lasted a long time, and I always got compliments on it! My favorite thing about this store is the workers, they are all SO friendly and helpful. Almost every time I’ve come to Avril the dresses the workers pick out (which I normally wouldn’t have) I end up buying! They really know their stuff. I always come back!
