Cute little bistro with a hip vibe. Friendly staff as well. I had their Croque-Madame crêpe for lunch and it was delicious. I definitely plan to be back to sample their other savory crepes, and hopefully will save room next time to try one of their wonderful sweet crepes. A casual little bit of Paris in Hillcrest. They offer beer, wine, and champagne as well.

I am so happy I found Bino’s when I did a quick Unilocal search Saturday morning for a quick café breakfast! I was so impressed with not only the food, but the quality of service. Every individual at Bino’s was dedicated to providing us with an exceptional meal. They checked in on us often and were very accommodating. I had an omelet with a side of fruit and everything was delicious. I asked for a side of salsa and was brought out a wooden bowl of freshly made salsa that had such a spice to it but also had so many wonderful flavors. My god daughter had nutella and strawberry crepes which looked absolutely amazing and my mother had granola with fruit and milk. We all really enjoyed our meals and I can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu. Thank you Bino’s for a great experience!

Loved just about every savory bite! Unilocal didn’t disappoint. Next time I’ll keep to their crepes, though. I want to try every single one! Light, airy, tasted decadent, and sweet without any bite overpowering the last. Felt like we inhaled them. Tried their Tortilla Soup, California crêpe(jaad the spicy Chipotle sauce), and the strawberry Nutella crêpe. Tortilla soup was just ok for me, not spicy at all. Can do without the tortilla chips, just my preference. Those crepes though, definitely want to try more from their menu again soon. Service is just as sweet. Sunday early dinner late lunch made for a quick dining visit. A cute little covered patio and a bistro feel inside. Enjoyed their music very much. Parking lot has some 90 minute and some 15 minute spots. Just be mindful of those.

Most definitely recommend. They may be under staffed but they do their best to provide great service. The wait and patience is all well worth it. My daughter and I met up for lunch here. My treat of course using Groupon. We shared the chicken club on ciabatta bread, a side salad and berry melody crêpe. Everything was good and very fresh. We are fans and will be returning.

Chicken Florentine crêpe was delicious. It was lightly marinated to bring out the natural flavors of chicken breast, topped with fresh spinach, and flowing with Béchamel sauce. The texture, the flavor, and the presentation of the crêpe itself was nice. The Mediterranean omelet was flavorful: feta cheese, spinach, tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms. Came with baguette and butter. Also came with roasted herb potatoes: ask for extra roasted AND ask for ketchup(this made it more flavorful). Our waitress, Melissa, was very helpful, friendly, and patient. An older man who served as host was a little grumpy when we first entered and we asked for a table outside; he said the table outside needed to be cleared and clean; that was fine with us, no rush, we were glad to wait for 2 – 3 minutes. There was another older man who went around and chatted with guests. Perhaps he’s the manager. He had great customer service skills, and he heard our positive opinion about Melissa.

I stopped in to Bino’s for lunch on a Friday around noon. It was not crowded and I had our choice of tables to sit at. I ordered a savory crêpe(The California) and a sweet crêpe(Strawberry, banana and Nutella) and both were very good! The California had a mild chipotle sauce and the dessert crêpe had perfect portions of everything! The service was fast and friendly and I will definitely be back!

The hours are wrong on Unilocal so we showed up 30 minutes before they opened. I had the Mediterranean crêpe and my wife had the Nutella crêpe. Both were ok but the crêpe was not made fresh, it had been made the prior night or earlier in the AM — fresh crepes make a big difference. ordered a croissant to go, it was burnt. Service was ok to poor.

My girlfriend and I came down to San Diego for her birthday. We turned to Groupon to help us find good deals on some local spots to eat. We were really excited when we came across the Groupon for this place since they get all of their ingredients locally. So we arrived and chose to sit outside. Very nice little place with equal inside and outside seating. We were greeted by our server after a couple of minutes and ordered waters to start with until we had to time to see what beverages they had. About 10 minutes later we received our waters and the server took our order. I ordered a cherry Italian soda and my girlfriend ordered a coke. About 10 more minutes later I received my italian soda which was watered down. We started with the salmon crêpe. It was pretty good and we decided to order the Mediterranean crêpe as well. Even better. However our server never brought my girlfriend’s coke. Never checked on us and seemed rather bothered by our presence. We believe that possibly because we were using a Groupon that she figured we weren’t going to tip so didn’t bother herself with us. All in all decent food at reasonable prices. Service ruined it for us though.

I got a groupon and decided to try this place based on the food pictures on Unilocal.Just want to say one thing, terrible service!!! We got our food and they just ignored us for the rest of the time we were there. When we order out food we ordered another sweet crêpe as a dessert, well it took around 45 minutes, so I asked how much more time it would take just for the terrible waitress to say, let me check, she never come to tell us how much more time, just brought us out crêpe after 15 more minutes. Food was ok, the sweet strawberry crêpe was super dry. sorry but never go back to this place…:(

We came in with a Groupon offer to try this place out for the first time. The environment is relatively intimate due to the size of the restaurant. There were only a couple of other tables that were seated, so the food and service was executed in a timely manor. I had the Crêpe a la Mexicain, which was quite tasty. The only complaint I had about it was that it was a little cold when it hit the table. I was given the option of soy or pork chorizo, which was nice as well. The prices are reasonable and the menu selections are vast. I’d recommend giving it a try if your in the area.

I know everyone loves this place. I wanted to love this place. The service, however, is just unacceptable. We waited a good 15 minutes before we could even get a menu. We then got one of the server’s attention and she proceeded to ignore us and go to the back. What should have been a 30 – 40 minute brunch became a 1.5 hour meal where we nearly got up and left. The food is ok, but you can get a great crêpe and not have to deal with the service elsewhere.

Great food!!! BAAADDDDD service!!! The man working there was super rude. Not once were we asked if there was something we needed. We had to wait for ever just for a drink. They dont know what customer service is.

By far one of our favorite places to have a nice dinner or simply have a drink or two with our friends! It was my boyfriend’s birthday and I was going crazy trying to find a place to celebrate. One night, I stopped by Binos to have a drink(they have an amazing Wine selection) I mentioned to the bar tender, Brian, my situation and he suggested we have it there, even though it was only a couple of days away, they were able to make it one of the most amazing birthdays for my boyfriend. Keep in mind we had over 20 people(including wild kids!) They managed to keep their cool and made sure everyone was satisfied with their food selection. The cook is wonderful, and makes delicious dishes. Everything about Bino’s Bistro truly intrigues me. They even included a surprise cake for him! Thank you Bino and Brian for an unforgettable experience! Can’t wait to stop by again!

I was given a $ 20 groupon to try this place out with my date, and that was approximately all we needed for our order of two crepes with no drinks added, minus tax and tip. The restaurant is a «mom and pop shop», so I expected that type of quality from the food if not the service(can’t really choose family right?). Because of the lack of family members working or something, the whole place seemed to be understaffed. This was despite only having 4 tables in a shop that looked like it could handle double. For instance, one of the servers actually brought our food to the wrong table, and both our table and the table who received our food were confused. The waiter, the other table, and my table all had a bit of a laugh about it however as we all understood that the place was small and the waiter meant no harm. The Croque-Madame crêpe was slightly underwhelming as mine seemed hastily put together. The slices of cheese seemed randomly thrown on and the sauce liberally slapped together. The actual crêpe pastry was generous, however, and very filling. I openly admit that I had part of my date’s marinated vegetable crêpe, and I can honestly say it was fantastically done. I would recommend the chipotle sauce over the Bechamel sauce with this one, as the Bechamel sauce on my was a bit bland. All in all, the place is comfy and eating here makes you feel better about directly helping a local family, but expect to wait with good company who aren’t trying to rush out.

So rarely am I truly satisfied with a meal at a restaurant. The food here was fantastic! Fresh, and light. Even though I was getting full I didn’t want to stop eating. This Café had a quaint atmosphere. Very chill. In a perfect world there would be no TV and service could be more professional and attentive. The first server i had on my first visit was knowledgeable and as attentive as possible. Staff is friendly i think that they are simply more busy when i visit, Sunday brunch. Thank you all for your hard work and attention to fresh food and ingredients with menu offerings that are not as cliché as so many restaurants in San Diego.

Great little breakfast spot! Could use more servers though, there was one KY one guy for like 5 tables. Anyways… let’s see I chose the Cajun scramble which was 2 large eggs scrambled with cajun sausage onions bellpeppers and brie cheese. The brie cheese had a smoked favor to it which made it really tasty, given the fact that I’m not a brie cheese fan it was awesome. The atmosphere of this place reminds me of a little store in France or something(I’ve never been to france) but I imagine it would look like that if I went to a Creperie there lol. Cute decorations and painting on the wall but the establishment was relatively small. Our server was a young guy, with an accent, possibly French. Very nice and attentive. The crêpe my friend chose looked way more appetizing than the place we previously went to called LA Creperie.

I really like this cozy, family vibe, French restaurant. I have been wanting to try their crepes and Brunch for a while. I had their sandwich for lunch, which came with a excellent fresh side salad. I really enjoyed the sandwich and want to return for their famous crepes and scramble. This is a nice alternative to Sunday brunch.

Location: Its in the same complex as starbucks, cali«o“brugers, and a golden spoon. You have to drive in and it should be near the back. Décor: They have nice table seating outside and in where their outdoor seating has covers. Also, it’s usually not super crowded so a great place to come! Food & Drinks: We usually get their savory crepes here as they are the most unique and most delicious. We get their champignon crêpe and marinated vegetable crêpe. Both really good and can get a little saucy, but you can ask for less. They are pretty filling and have great flavor. Overall, a solid place for brunch crêpe place. Next time I come I will try a dessert crêpe for sure :). P. S. Doggie FRIENDLY! Happy Crêpe eating my friends!

I hope you’re like me and love stumbling upon little family owned spots when you have no idea what to eat and are just driving around hoping to stumble upon something. My mom and I were too hungry to keep driving around, so we stopped in the little strip mall that Bino’s is in for Subway. Instead, we noticed a sign for creperies and realized they also served other foods. I am so glad we decided to stop in! It is the cutest little spot with a nice French feel. Our waitress had a French accent and we soon realized it was most definitely authentic and family-owned and ran. Score! I ordered a bowl of their Chicken Soup, which was absolutely to die for! It was insanely flavorful and hearty. Along with that I ordered the Prosciutto de Parma sandwich and it all came out on this thick wooden butcher block. A+ on food presentation for sure!
