While the outside looks a little scruffy, the food was actually decent. We tried a bunch of items but the shrimp cocktail knocks the place up to four stars, easily.
They have a «salsa bar» of sorts at the front counter to doctor up your cocktail as you like it (think different hot sauces like Valentino and Tapatío, ketchup, etc) and they give you a choice of crackers or tostadas. There was a ton of shrimp in it, we couldn’t even finish ours.
The birria had a strong tomato taste that could have used a little something more and the tacos, while big, were pretty average. The fish taco had rice on it, oddly enough.
All in all, the cocktail makes it worth the trip.
