Bagel was amazing and refreshing. Ordered sm hazelnut iced coffee as well and was the best coffee in the universe.

A nice clean restaurant with very high quality food. It’s a little pricey but they accept ebt which somewhat makes up for that. Everything’s always very fresh and perfectly prepared. I’m hooked on their better bacon cheddar sandwich with egg, cheese, and bacon on a muenster bagel. If you haven’t been here you should try it. my favorite breakfast place downtown

I first had Brueggers Bagels in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, so naturally, this would be my favorite food chain restaurant and so happy that California offers this great deli/bakery shop! To my delight they also are vegan/vegetarian friendly, and when I was still eating dairy their cream cheese is the absolute BEST.

Came on a Saturday morning around 8:30. There was no line and quick service. Large variety of bagels. I got a salmon sandwich on an everything bagel. The bagel was excellent, lots of flavor. My boyfriend got the classic wrap which he wasn’t a fan of(thought the eggs seemed too processed, meat was overly salty and slimey). Would come back but stick to the bagels.

Bruggers is my go-to when I am craving a bagel. I stopped in today to get 6 plain bagels. They only had 2 and the server said«that’s all we have for now, and I’m not sure when more would be made». I would understand if I asked for the specialty bagel on a Tuesday afternoon, but PLAIN? On a Sunday morning? Really? Get it together, Brueggers.

This is my morning spot. Love the staff, all around great people. They take care of their regulars and I’ve always seen good customer service to those that aren’t regulars. Definitely get your bagels and morning coffee here!

This place has a great selection but terrible customer service. I came in the morning and the 2 ladies seemed like they didn’t want to be here. They also threw my sandwich together half ass and forgot to put bacon on 2 of the other sandwiches and then wanted to charge us $ 1.50 extra when clearly they were not paying attention to our order

Bruegger’s has been my main bagel shop for the two years I have lived in San Diego. The bagels are above average and the service is pretty quick. It’s not the best bagel shop ever but it’ll do for what I like. Bagels: 4 stars — They pass the test. I will say it’s hard to make a bagel so bad that I’d give it a bad rating. The bagel sandwiches taste pretty good. I actually suggest the sandwiches over just a bagel and cream cheese here. Service: 5 stars — They’re always polite to me. The bagel is always made quickly and the cashier charges people before the bagel is done to get people moving quickly. The shop is always incredibly clean which is always nice when I’m buying food there. Price: 3 stars — The prices here can be steep at times compared to the average bagel shop. Keep an eye out for 2for1 coupons in the«uptown downtown» coupon book. Parking: 2 stars — As with other stores downtown, the only parking is street parking. It already sucks to pay for parking but a lot of the times those metered spots are not even available.

The bagel I had was delicious! They have a variety of bagels to choose from, and you can even create your own bagel if you don’t want a signature one. There’s a lot of different types of cream cheese too. The staff is also really friendly! Overall the experience was great. I got a honey oat bagel w onion&chive cream cheese, cucumbers, and red onion! Yum!

I really enjoy coming here to have a great toasted bagel with cream cheese and some hot chocolate. It’s nice in the morning because it’s usually not crowded. I’d also recommend trying their delicious breakfast bagel with egg/cheese.

An empty bagel shop on Sunday morning is not a good sign. But if my experience today is any indication, it’s not surprising. I used a coupon to get $ 2 off a salmon breakfast sandwich, normally $ 7.29 which is a little high but not outrageous. The help was lackluster to put it mildly. The amount of cream cheese did not even cover the bagel. The tomato slices were not trimmed of their hard center. I asked the counter girl if I could get a little more cream cheese and she said it would cost 50c. She repeated that all I get is half a scoop. For $ 7.29, half a scoop of cream cheese, seriously? There is not a single electric plug and no wifi, but I was able to connect to Burger King next door. The huge«We accept EBT» on the front door is a nice touch(sarcasm). I doubt I’ll be back.

The staff are amazing. So friendly to everyone. The quality is so good that the bagels melts you. Cintya was so patient while I was deciding.

Today I ate the best bagel sandwich that I have ever had in my entire existence. Darted off with a jalapeño and cheddar bagel got it sliced thin and toasted and piled on the sour cream and chive cream cheese with all of the toppings possible in between. You can call me overzealous but I have to say as hard as it was to eat this monstrosity it truly was the best sandwich I have had to date. They have a lot of new things in the shop and the guy was nice enough to offer me a free sample of hot French toast flavored coffee. All I needed was some syrup to add into it. I am a little bit worried now since this is just around the corner from where I work every day. Now I will be craving this sandwich all of the time!

Bagels were hard and coffee was below average. They do have a huge selection of bagels, sandwiches, and cream cheese options though. Make your bagel skinny!

My bagel had a hole in it; right in the middle too! Ok I know that bagels have holes in the middle but so do there muffins which I did find odd. Muffins were so so and on the sweet side but the bagels were the right amount of chewy.

The jalapeño bacon I had this morning was amazing! The women that work in the AM definitely hustle! They greet you with a smile no matter how busy. I live close by so this is a frequent stop for me.(Also the cinnamon sugar bagels are incredible)

Smoked Salmon bagel!!! So yummy. I go to school across the street, class got canceled and was in the mood for a bagel. The girls are really nice, and my bagel was AMAZING! The boyfriend had the Turkey Chipotle, it was tasty but try the Bagel & Lox! You won’t regret it. Promise

I came into Brueggers to grab a quick breakfast bagel for the road. The lady who served me, perhaps being early in the morning, was a little grumpy, but she pulled through. I had her make me the spinach, egg, cheddar cheese, and I had them add ham to it on a honey wheat with rolled oats toasted bagel.( ) The bagel was good, especially the bagel. It was warm and moist and a little chewy. The filling was all good and it came loaded with melted cheddar cheese.( ) The spinach and egg were cooked well, and the ham although just a couple of layers of it, tasted good.( ) Good breakfast bagel. Parking is all street parking being downtown. The inside is smaller that most other locations, but it still gets the job done.

GETWITHTHETIMES! Im a first time customer and I appreciate convenience not HASSLES! 11th and B Downtown beautiful Saturday noon. I decide to hit up a healthier place to eat than the burger King, del taco, jacks etc near the college. I received an email offer on my smartphone for a coupon for a bagel sandwich for 2.99. Has a barcode. Dum***s guy cashier named Luis won’t honor saying I need to print it out! WTF?! Its on my smartphone right in front of his face! Are you kidding me! maybe the guy is not in the loop on this but the least he could do is say. «I don’t know, normally we have to have the printed out coupon(though there was nothing in the email indicating it had to be printed out) but i’ll honor the coupon in the meantime until i can touch bases with my manager». I would think that the explicit offer and barcode would be sufficient. But no, the guy leaves a first time customer high and dry implicitly communicating«tough sh**! I leave of course. I call another Bruegers down the street hoping there would be a manager there I could complain to. No manager there on weekends per Elena but she said to come on down and she would honor the coupon until she could confirm with managers on the protocol for mobile phone coupons. I go down there and just as I’d hoped, they make awesome sandwiches here. The food was good and the CUSTOMERSERVICE I received from Elaine and Neydi was beyond my expectations after my initial run in with the dipsh**t Luis at B street. WOW! no stars for him and B street store but FIVE stars for Kettner and Broadway.

Brueggers in general isn’t my cup of tea. I keep trying different things at a few locations and I can’t seem to figure out if it’s me or Brueggers in general. I got the sesame multigrain bagel with cream cheese and the bagel isn’t was more bland than ever and relatively hard, and the amount of cream cheese was minimal. I wasn’t impressed at all. I imagine the new location is convenient for those who live/work in the building and for that side of downtown. The staff was nice and the location itself is really clean and has plenty of seating inside. It’s not overly large, so if it gets busy, I can definitely see a line forming and a wait. They do take credit cards, there is plenty of street parking out front and to the side and it’s easy to get to.
