BTS T.V. contacted me about optioning a short script I wrote. After passing the script around their team, their C.E.O. McAndy Tony Duclos said that they«loved» the script. Then he sent a contract seeking to option the production rights to my script forever without the obligation to film the screenplay. I backed up because that meant the company could decide not to produce the film, and, unless they acceded to a request to waive the rights, it would never see screens, small or otherwise. BTSTV’s representative played dumb at first, but, after my persistence, agreed to limit the option to one year. The new contract added«now for a year» to the original text, leaving the length of option ambiguous. I re-wrote the contract and it was signed. Two months later I queried the company and found out they were in the process of casting. This weekend I inquired again and found out that, after casting actors, assembling a crew and securing locations, the director had decided the script was too offensive for their tastes. The C.EO., who had told me they loved the script and forced me to re-write the contract, then had the gaul to ask me if I had another«simple» script they could film later this week. I requested the company send me a signed notice waiving the rights to the script. He then blamed me for a negative review of their wedding service’s on social media and accused me of liable. McAndy Tony Duclos and his company obtained the rights to my script through a false pretense. His company’s conduct and behavior are not only illegal, but thoroughly unprofessional. Do not work with them.

I had(a the last minute) been looking for a videographer for a show that I was producing called the KuumbaFest«Late Night Live». For more info, go to , we were selling the show dvd so I really needed it recorded. I called up every company and they were either busy or super expensive. I called up Tony from BTSTV and he said he could do it. With less than 48hours until the show I told him that I wanted a 2 camera shoot and a camerman for backstage. We decided on a price of $ 150, I thought it was too good to be true(and I guess it was lol) I can go on all day and if you are interested I can show you our email conversations but they did not record the whole show. Ran out of space on the camera’s memory cards, so could not record the whole show. At one point I saw the videographer taking still pictures. I told him that I didn’t want that. Later Tony told me the camera that he was gonna use was unavailable due to late notice(why didn’t he tell me that before… hmmm) Never apologized, tried to skirt responsibility and even had one of the camera guys follow me to the ATM like I was not going to pay after I produced this large event with 600+ participants and 100+ performers AND… This is what this idiot sent me. It looks like its not that bad but consider: The show was 2hours long Video quality is good but blame that on the camera There were more acts that he did not record He recorded the acts exiting and not performing on a large number of them There are acts(about 5) that are not even shown in the video or recorded at all I wanted interviews as a separate part not part of the main video He is mixing music of dancers all together so movement looks awkward The video makes no sense Its a talent show and he got less than 60 seconds of the winning act’s performance And to add insult, I got the raw footage and told him to edit it in order of the show. He said he would months later he says he sent it and deleted all the footage and lost the link. how convenient… :) DONOTTRUSTBTSTV I don’t usually do this but these people couldn’t even apologize or make right + multiple lies. and if he tells you anything different, I will show you the email transcripts. just message me. BOOM!
