Very open and friendly entry. The food was amazing! Great prices with the cleanest food on the menu. They wait on you after your order as well, so don’t wonder about the tip when you first pay. That’s why! They take care of you from walk in to walk out with respect and manners. Can’t wait for my next cheeseburger cheat meal so I can come back! :)

I recently took my duaghter and her friends. We are burger and fries type of gals however I wanted to impress them and score mom points … I did! The burgers were so yummy. Hot melting cheese and great season meat. The tables had really funny information about bacon and the restaurant itself is so cute and modern. I had the veggie burger and the salad I would avoid the salads, kinda bland. Very basic. A salad I make and take to work to eat in a rush. The Onion rings were a hit. If I was alone and without friends probably wouldn’t come here since it’s a litle pricier but if I was celebrating and out with friends this would be the place. The staff is great, friendly and really hard workers.

Gluten free bums made my day! And they’re 5star tasting. High quality grass fed beef and nitrate-free bacon. And they sell beer and wine. Very happy overall, we will be back.

Cool place very friendly in the always classy San diego!, once again I was pretty hungover and in need of a great American burger and this was the place to go. Pretty big and a little on thee greasry side but all round decent and goof d value for money. Location is nice just inside the edge of little Italy town so there is lots things to see after your burger afterwards if you can still walk ha-ha.

What a cool restaurant! I had the albacore burger and my wife had the little lounge burger. We split fries and onion rings. Craft sodas and lemonade were the perfect amount of flavor and sweet. Nice laid back atmosphere. I would definitely come back and wish one of these were in my home town :)

Located in the heart of Little Italy, this burger spot definitely lives up to the hype. Heard a lot of good things about their«healthy» choice of meat and good selection of beer on tap(Sculpin/Ginger Beer). Ordered the: LOUNGEBURGER($ 7.95) — 100% fresh, single source, American grass fed beef. Your choice of organic cheese, fresh or grilled onion, lettuce, tomato, and house made 1000 island dressing. Compared to In N Out, I would definitely go with this burger for the quality, but for the price and that dirty, greasy burger taste for the price, In N Out takes the title overall. HALFANDHALF($ 4.99) — Onion rings and french fries, seasoned to perfection. Serves 2. Freshly cut, light, and crispy. They give you a ton of fries, but there aren’t many onion rings in each serving. Overall, make sure to try their beer on tap and compared to In N Out, I would still have to go with INO!

Cashier: Can I take your order? Me: Yes I’ll take a turkey burger on a gluten free bun, order of fries, and a vanilla milkshake. Cashier: Ok that will be $ 19.17. Me: Are you sure you rang that up correctly? The food here is good: organic and fresh but it does come at a price. I’m not sure if what I ordered was worth almost $ 20. I like that they have a couple of gluten free options, you can do a gluten free bun or lettuce wrap. The staff is friendly and the food comes out quick. If you are looking for a healthier and better tasting meal than McDonalds then this is the place to come.

Voted best burger in San Diego several years running – I read somewhere. I wholeheartedly agree because the grass fed beef patty was very juicy and flavorful. Everything here, from the burgers, salads to the homemade desserts, look very wholesome and high quality. I got the vegetable salad with a beef patty. It tasted very fresh and healthy. I left feeling satisfied but not weighed down. My friend ordered the Husky burger, a double decker beef burger with onion strings, I believe. She finished every morsel, so that speaks for itself. Service was friendly and thoughtful. Servers came by to check on us and refill our fountain drinks during the meal even though it’s technically a self serve joint.

Busy Saturday night in Little Italy? You and your family shut out of every Italian restaurant? Well, meet plan B. This was the only place on India Street that had any available seating, so burgers it was. What a great choice it turned out to be! We ordered burgers and a fresh vegetable salad. One burger was of the protein style(Lettuce wrapped). The fresh vegetable salad was light and quite delicious with ricotta cheese and the House-Made Lemon-Basil dressing. The crispy fries that came with the kids burgers are some of the best in town. It’s not just the available seating or the tasty burgers and fries that make this a great place, but it’s also the service here. The staff at Burger Lounge go above and beyond by bringing you refills, cleaning off empty plates, or getting you any extra condiments that you may require. They hustle!

This place is great. I am veggie, so I can’t comment on the burgers, but all of my co-workes love them. The first couple times I went, I got the quinoa veggie burger and OMG it was amazing! Such a good flavor, definitely one of the better veggie burgers I have had, with a really good fresh tasting bun as well. I have had both the fries and onion rings and both are great as well. Oh and you must get some homeade ranch sauce for dipping, so good. The next time I went, I got the Romaine-Kale salad with a veggie burger on top, trying to be a little healthier and it was good as well. I didn’t realize it was really just a Ceaser salad, but that’s my fault for not reading the meny carefully enough. Next time I think I’d get the Fresh-Vegetable salad as that looked a lot more delicious and is more my kind of salad. Anyhow great lunch spot, and the people are always super friendly. Only down side is it is a bit pricey for a casual serve yourself lunch. If you get fries and a drink, it’ll run you about $ 14 – 16. But I’ll definitely be back for the occaisonal Friday lunch treat.

Not sure why this place gets the love it does, but – then again, everything is ass backwards in Southern California… want to go fast on the freeway? – stay in the right hand lane… Sex roles are reversed… ketchup on hot dogs and mustard on hamburgers started out here as well. When it comes to hamburgers, the thousand island dressing is more important than the flavor of the meat to many Southern Californians – which is why this place, undeservedly, rates so high out here. Basically, you get a thin patty. Only difference between the patty served here and at In N Out is that the Burger Lounge patty is organic. That is the only difference. In order to derive flavor, you have to add thousand island dressing, onions, tomatoes, ketchup and a bun that otherwise dwarfs what little flavor the organic hockey puck, I mean patty, offers… a true hamburger aficionado likes their meat cooked a certain, consistent temperature – in my case, medium rare. Good luck getting a burger cooked here medium rare consistently; I have received burgers cooked anywhere from roar to well done baseball glove(not surprising the difficulty given the thinness of the patty here). Fries are decent, but you are looking at more than $ 15 for a burger(lacking flavor for me and rarely cooked the way I want it) fries, and iced tea. Throw in the fact they allow dogs inside the restaurant(another indigenous ass backwards So. Cal phenomenon) and this place is a consistent meh. I’ve given them 3 stars but it is more deserving of 2.5 stars. Yet locals rave about this place(then, again, the ass backwards locals also rave about Hodad’s and the greasy meatball that is disguised as a well done hamburger at Rocky’s). The other advantage of this place over In N Out is that it does not clog up my digestive tract for 3 solid days – will give them props for that(must be because the patty is grass fed). If this place were a gal, it would be a 5 who thinks she is a 9.

Location is good and bad. When I’m walking in Little Italy, it’s great. When I have to drive, good luck finding good parking. The fries and onion rings are great. I usually get the half and half serving. The burger is bland. I know they go with the natural, grass fed and organic message but they need to put some seasoning on their burgers. It’s too bland for me. Their sodas are good. I really like their Ginger Beer. Good place but it could be better.

$ 7 for a salad that could barely be considered a side salad was highway robbery. I was very disappointed at how small it was, as I expected this to be a meal. The turkey burger was good but not great.

Affordable with the«Little Lounge Burger» and fries about $ 11, normal pricing for lunch around this area. I did noticed that this location, the patty was a bit flavorless and dry as oppose to the one in Hillcrest. Didn’t mean I didn’t scarf it down though! Just add a little ketchup. Fries are good, they should have a smaller portion for fries too. They keep it very simple and fast here. Good spot for lunch, I was able to get in and out.

For some reason, I have been CRAVING turkey burgers lately and let me tell you, Burger Lounge make a dleicious one. You can get their regular salad and add a turkey burger on top. Hits the spot and super healthy. They also make all their own juices and sodas. I had the Lavender Lemonade and I could have had a gallon of it. Perfect blend of flavors. And yes, you have to order fries seperately but those are good too!

I had a hankering for a burger and noticed this place while walking past. I’m glad that I decided to stop in since it was delicious! They even cooked my burger to medium rare, a REAL medium rare which is an accomplishment in itself. lol. Very simple burgers here with only two choices of cheese(White Cheddar or American), lettuce, 1000 island dressing, and grilled onions. I had mine with everything except the 1000 island and was muy impressed. Also ordered the onion rings which were seasoned to perfection, very crispy, and served in a chinese takeout box which is convenient since I couldn’t finish them all:) For drinks they have the standard sodas, beer, wine, and I went with a bottle of lemon Izze soda. Great meal overall. Only thing that stunned me was that it was over $ 15 for a burger lunch.
